Toothless

Of course behind every great man is their own unique dragon, inhaling deeply and getting ready to shoot fire at his butt for the lulz of it all. XDDDD

But here we are to talk of one of the most loveable, Hiccup's very own dragon Toothless, the ever rare and widely feared Night Fury! (No relation between him and me XDD)

(no relation HA XD) I admit it, I don't care if he's attack me... I'd go up and HUG Toothless at any point in the movie! HE WAS SO CUTE. Like during the part with the dragon nip! He's like a cat... dog... reptile... AWESOME THING!

I can't believe how much... personality he seemed to have! You could tell when he was angry, when he was worried or happy or sad. And he had quirks, like he seemed to not like Astrid at all at first but warmed up t her. And he seems kinda snarky, like Hiccup!

I loved Toothless!!! Definitely my favourite dragon, and I think he would be my favourite character - it's a tossup between Toothless and Hiccup.

I loved it how he was so cat/dog like, how he'd perk up all the time. He was always funny when his eyes would randomly go wide and he'd have the look that was like 'A-WHUUUUUUT?!' Anyone agree with me? It was so cute!!!

His other shining moment was when Hiccup had to kill that dragon that could spontaneously combust - darn, forgot which one it was, but anyway - and Toothless could hear Hiccup screaming and he was all like "I'MMA GONNA SAVE YAH!!!". Just his look of determination and anger, like 'No dragon is gonna eat my Hiccup!!!'.

His eyes made me go; "BAWWWWWWWW" when his pupils got HUGE- especialy near the end part. Like, he would be all 8) and Hiccup was all ._. cause of his foot-leg-thing-... and Toothless would help him walk.

That dragon is such a sweetie~!

OMG, I love Toothless. He reminds me of my labrador, Tobias. xD

I loved his character. He's pretty much Hiccup in dragon form; different, kinda snarky, insanely smart.

And all the reviews I've read described him with two words: GOOD BOY. And that he is. Especially when he THROWS himself out of the cove, RUNS all those miles to the arena, BREAKS through the bars, and PWNS the Monstrous Nightmare. Just to save his boy. <3

I finally got to see the movie, and Toothless was definately at the top of my 'favorite character' list. Adorable and sweet, yet onery and pridefull. I just like the contrast of how he treats Hiccup, apart from the others. Very cute^^

I really enjoyed the part when Toothless was rollin' around in the 'dragon-nip' I about blew up my face smiling so much I also like the part where he smiled at Astrid while she and Hiccup were riding him. My favorite 'Toothless' part, was at the end, when he was being all hyper in Hiccup's house...so cute!

Not only do I like his pesonality, and antics, I really do like the design of him. Very graceful and smooth looking. I love the second set of 'wings' on him, they make him all 'frilly-lookin'
Love his eyes, they were just so big and green It makes me wanna hug em'

All summed up, Toothless is the most adorable flying-kittydog I've ever seen ^^

[Deadly Nadder]

Toothless, from the moment I saw him, reminded me of my Chocolate labrador every single time for the remainder of the movie- they mirror eachother. It was almost weird, in a way, since my dog- Logger- and Toothless acted exactly the same. Especially the long, staring looks with the giant yellow eyes (which was waaaay too adorable on Toothless's part).

Although Toothless is kind of odd looking, he's... original! He's got a sort of... salamander head to him. At first I wasn't too sure about him... he looked odd. But then I totally warmed up to him <3

Did anyone notice Toothless also looks alot like Stitch from Lilo & Stitch?

Well, the directors DID work on Lilo and Stitch, it's only natural! XD

It's a running joke, they even said they realized he looked like Stitch.

I always thought he looked like a cat/salamander/Mudkup with wings. TIS ADORABLE.

Actually, I drew him quite recently and showed my mum and brother... first thing Mum said was 'it looks like a Pokemon'...

I just saw the movie, AND YES I LIKE TOOTHLESSES-SES-SES! He really DOES look like a mudkip! I noticed the things on his head, but I never thought of a mudkip XD. Toothless is also SOOOO adorable! ^^ -does gummy smile-

Look at that face. How can you not love him? He reminds me so much of my cats it's not even funny. Independent, but at the same time, they love their keeper (not owner. no one owns a cat, and no one owns a dragon). The bit at the end, where he kept nosing Hiccup's face and licking his cheek to get him to wake up? My cats do that. WET NOSE TO THE CHEEK until you can ignore them no longer. XD

Cutest thing ever: when they caught Astrid after she fell off her Nadder, he checked to see if he caught her, she smiled at him...

...and he gave her that big, doofy gummy smile right back. XD

Something that I recently thought of; In the beginning of the movie during the dragon attack, all the other dragons are snatching up livestock for food for the Red Death. But Toothless (as a Night Fury and therefore mysterious and almost completely unknown to the vikings at the time) just swooped in a few times to blow holes in the lighthouse/ tower. Didn't that put him in a more... wicked light? The dragons were actually just collecting food because their queen/bully was making them, but Toothless was just portrayed as being destructive because he didn't take any food but still blew fire and caused destruction.
