Toothless is also my favorite character! <3 It's just so adorable. If there were actually some in the real world, I would get as many night furys as I could! It's cuteness is just, so cute you can't explain! And, Toothless is much cuter and better in the movie instead of in the books! I find Toothless acts like a cat. (When he played with the lights. Also, he likes fishies!) His sound is also like purring! ^^ I find he is more like a cat then a dog. Some people said he was like there dogs but, is anyone with me that he is more cat-like?  |

When I first saw the commercial of the movie that it was going to be in theaters, it was Toothless that inspired me to watch the movie. I saw him and I thought "What a curious dragon, he looks nice". And I Reilly wanted to go. I really loved this movie and of course he's my favorite character. I even dreamed something of the movie, can't remember right now though. So cute!

Toothless definitely struck me as more catlike. Yeah, he's got a dog's loyalty to Hiccup, but he also has the arrogant, independent streak that you see in a lot of cats.
Makes me wonder, though. Are ALL Night Furies (if there ARE any others) like Toothless, or is he a sort of oddity. You don't see any others of his kind in the movie, which makes me think he might be something of an outsider, possibly an outcast or an exile. It would explain why he's apparently the only one of his kind.

(no relation HA XD) I admit it, I don't care if he's attack me... I'd go up and HUG Toothless at any point in the movie! HE WAS SO CUTE. Like during the part with the dragon nip! He's like a cat... dog... reptile... AWESOME THING! I can't believe how much... personality he seemed to have! You could tell when he was angry, when he was worried or happy or sad. And he had quirks, like he seemed to not like Astrid at all at first but warmed up t her. And he seems kinda snarky, like Hiccup! HE WAS REALLY CUTE!  TOOTHLESS IS AWESOME! |

I have a feeling that will be answered in the new tv show or in one of the sequels, because if you noticed, when hiccup went to the dragon island in GotNF, not only was toothless not there, but I didn't even see another night fury on the island. So that was something I wondered as well if maybe toothless species is actually endangered or something and are very rare. Hopefully Toothless isn't the only one left, because well, :gulps: he's still a living being. And if he's the only one left... that means no more little toothless coming... There :better: be at least one other night fure that is female for toothless so that we can has more Toothlesses! Could you imagine 5 of him wandering around? haha |

Lol maybe Night Furies have different ways. They hatch at different times and different places.
I kinda think it would be a bad idea if they added more of his kind. Toothless is very unique, and it would kinda suck to see clones of himself around :/

Lol well yeah but I mean in a HTTYD movie or something xD. We RP but we don't SEE the dragons xD. And I f notice, out of all Of the night fury OCs that are around, Toothless is the only "normal" night fury since he doesn't any markings or special abilities xD

Actually, Toothless does have markings on him. They are hard to notice but he does have stripes running down his body on both sides as shown here.  whether or not they all have the same markings. we don't know, and can't know unless we see more. |
