"Ah!" Mouse cried out again, turning around and nearly falling over in the water. She pinwheeled her arms out a bit, saving herself in the nick of time. Didn't need a repeat of yesterday...
"Hello again..." she said, still quietly. Mouse stepped out of the water, shaking her legs a bit, like a cat would, stopping five feet from Mordar. Wondering if he knew what a wave was, she shyly lifted a hand, slowly waving it back and forth.

Mordar looked at Mouse from head to foot, then walked to behind the dead sheep (or rather, the piece of it) that he had carried with him. He took a bite of it, then pushed it aside, for later. He then licked his mouth clean.
Finally, he drank some more water from the stream, and then sat in it to soak his legs as he had seen Mouse do. It didn't seem to have much of an effect, so he didn't know what she saw in doing it.

Mouse covered her mouth with her hands, taking a few steps backwards again and looking away from the sheep carcass. She'd seen a dead sheep before once or twice, at least...but it didn't mean she liked to look at it. "Y-You brought yo-your breakfast, huh?" she stuttered, edging away from it and standing back near the stream. There was an upside to this. If he gets hungrier, at least he won't be eating me, he'll be eating the sheep.
....Wonder whose sheep that is.
Swallowing another bout of nervousness, Mouse cupped her hands in the water, gathering some of it up, then daring to toss it at Mordar. She flinched a bit, covering her face, but spoke up again. "U-Uh, it f-feels better som-sometimes! When n-not just o-on your feet, see?"

The splash of water that hit him wasn't much, but it wasn't the best feeling. He shook around, almost like a dog at the water. Then he decided to have the rest of the sheep as a snack, and shot a small burst of fire at it, whose explosion burnt the meat to a crisp, filling the air with the smell of burnt flesh.
Then he approached the meat (or rather, the smoldering remains of it) and ate it. Afterwards, he returned to the stream and let it soak him again.

"S-Sorry!" Mouse blurted out, feeling she'd better apologize anyway. She sat by herself for a few minutes, shoulders hunched up like she was a turtle, just staring at the water.
"M-Mister Dragon?" she called out, tilting her head a bit. Oh, stupid, she scolded herself afterwards. He can't understand you. Mouse sighed again. She wanted to do something....Sticking her hand in the water again, she let it get wet before she reached out again, poking the creature's side. "Can I call you something? Like Mister Dragon?" she mumbled.

Mordar looked up at the sound of Mouse's voice. He wasn't angry, and as long as it was in good fun, he didn't mind the occasional playing around now and then. After all, he himself liked to do the same.
Mordar decided to splash some water on Mouse to return the favor, and did so. It was great to finally do something fun for once! Then he went to the opposite bank of the stream and waited.

The girl cried out in surprise when the water hit her, blinking and wiping it from her eyes. "H-heeey..." she laughed a little. Well, so he wasn't upset at her! That was good! Mouse looked around a moment, spotting Mordar on the other end of the stream. "H-hey, you ca-can't just go away," she laughed, wading out as far as she could in the stream. She slipped a few times, but at least made it to the rock she'd been on yesterday. This should work!
Crouching on the rock, Mouse splashed the water towards Mordar, moving to the very edge of the rock.

Another splash of water hit Mordar, but still it wasn't anything too bad. This time he thought he would do something a little bit bigger, to return the favor. He took in a mouthful of water, and spat a stream towards Mouse. It was warmer water than what had been in the stream because his mouth had warmed it.
He made a growl, as if it amused him. Then he waited to see Mouse's reaction.

Ducking her head to keep from swallowing or choking on any of the water, Mouse couldn't help laughing. When the attack was over, she sat back, actually shoving herself off the rock and wading closer to Mordar. Now about waist-deep in the stream, she started splashing at him again, a bit more enthusiastic than the last time, laughing again.
I'm playing! I'm playing a splashing game with a dragon! she thought, almost giddily. No one who knew her would ever believe this, even if they were witnessing it! Unfortunately, Mouse tried to take a few more steps forward--and ended up slipping again. For a few seconds, she fell under the water, than popped up again, completely soaked. "Aaah...I-I'm okay!"

Mordar stared again, then took another drink of water. He went fishing again while Mouse made her way across the stream. He needed a snack for later after all. So continued the spearing of fish and he whiled the time away.
He waited until Mouse made it to the bank that he was standing on.

A bit disappointed, Mouse slowly made her way out of the water, sitting down on the back again and trying to wring the water from her hair. A little bit came out, but not much...At least it's warmer today, she thought. After a few moments' pause, she looked up at Mordar again. She knew he couldn't understand but she wanted to say it anyway.
"Did I r-ruin the game? 'm sorry..."

Mordar didn't do anything but keep spearing fish. He wasn't angry, he just wanted to something else for the time being. He kept going until he had a pile of fish on the bank, and then re-entered the stream and sat in it yet again.
He drank some water, then took in another big gulp, but this one wasn't for drinking, he shot it at Mouse again! It was back to playing around.

Mouse laughed again, trying to block most of the water (and failing). Oh, the game was still going! "D-Don't trick me l-l-like that," Mouse laughed quietly, rubbing her eyes. She reached towards the stream again, intending to splash, but paused. That was the same thing over and over...Maybe she should try something else?
A thought struck her just then...the girl glanced between Mordar and the fish, wondering if she dared to do it. Slowly, her hand inched towards the little pile...and then she ran towards it, picking up one of the fish (it slipped a little, and she had to hold onto it tightly) before "running away" again. "I--I'm stealing!" she called out, voice trembling slightly. Why did I do that?!

As Mouse ran off with one of his fish, Mordar chased after her. He was a bit unhappy that she had taken it. However, he wasn't about to roast her either. His speed quickly caught up to her, and he tackled her to the ground, although not to hurt her, but just to get his fish back.
And with that, he snapped at her hand, and the fish was gone! Even more impressive, Mouse's hand had not one scratch on it. He got off and returned to the pile of fish.

Mouse cried out and covered her head with her free arm, trembling as she lay there, even after Mordar walked away. It seemed to take her a few moments to realize that she wasn't dead--and a few moments more to realize she still had both her hands. She slowly sat up, turning to look over her shoulder with wides eyes. She slowly came back to Mordar, though she stopped a little further away than the last time. "G-Guess 'm no-not s'posed to d-d-do that, huh?" she said quietly, laughing faintly, nervously, as she checked her hand again. Amazing...
She sat down again, hugging her knees to her chest, close to the edge of the water.
