You know, both times I saw the movie the theatre was full of little kids but they were all so quiet and good little kids. The only story I really have is that near the end of the second movie a kid shouted out "He like Go-burr!" when it showed Hiccup's new leg. Yes, pronounced Go-burr. It was so cute. xD

Well, today, there was a person who clapped three times: the first time Toothless let Hiccup touch his nose, and the two times Astrid kissed Hiccup. There was also a little kid behind me explaining the movie to his mom. "Mo-om, Toothless can't fly out because he's HURT!" It was so cute.
And when the Queen Dragon popped up, my friend (who had been leaning forward) plastered herself to the back of the chair. I asked her about it later, and she said, "That thing SCARED ME!" xD And when the credits rolled, we looked at each other, tears still glistening in our eyes, and fangirl squealed. It was awesome.

I saw the movie a second time last night, and it was kind of diappointing with the crowd the theater I was in. The friends I had gone to see the movie with kept making comments and guesses and little sounds of diappointment or frustration and such (like when things started going badly when Toothless saved Hiccup from the Nightmare in the arena, she went "Oh no!" really loudly when the first viking hit Toothless, and continued to make little upset sounds throughout that entire scene). Then some lady had brought her like, two-year-old with who started screaming and screeching at the top of his lungs during the dragon attack on Berk in the beginning of the movie and didn't stop until Hiccup had shot the Night Fury down. And then the family in the row behind me kept ruffling plastic snack bags during the quiet parts, so it was dramatic and touching and sweet, you know, Hiccup touches Toothless's nose for the first time, and all the time there's "crunch, crunch, crinkle, rustle" behind me But despite that, I still fell in love with the movie all over again xD

My two friends and I saw it opening day, like the third or so show, and it was AMAZING. I mean, when the movie ended, the theatre started clapping, and then everyone refused to leave. We just sat there for like ten minutes, before some brave soul finally stood up XD Third time going to see it (in three d of course!!) It was on Easter, and my grandparents and I went as a family, and everytime something three d like was shot at us, my Gramps would gasp and duck. It was hilarious. The second time seeing it, my friend and I spent the majority of the movie quoting (probably to the annoyance of the couple sitting in front of us) and it was a huge shocker when my friend's dad ended up admiting that he liked the movie. He criticizes EVERYTHING, but, his words were 'It was good!' It made my day. My step mom works at Walmart and she named the little cardboard ship think Puff. Why? No reason, but when she told me about it, I had absolutely no idea what the heck she was talking about, so the next day we made my dad take us to Walmart to investigate. We ended up raiding the section (it's larger then the one they had for Twilight!!! ) and watching the trailers they had playing on the TV across the hall. My dad was ENTRANCED. When they stopped he turned to me and said "You were right, we so shoulda seen that instead of Clash of the Titans" It's pure awesomeness when a middle aged guy admits something like that. I've now seen it four times, three times in 3D (which was awesome!!) and everytime I fall in love again. And walk out of the theatre in tears.

I only saw it once, on my own. Atm I'm trying my best to get my family with me next time, but so far without luck, they think it's just a childish movie not worth seeing in theatre. Aaargh!

First time: Opening day and during school/work hours so it was almost empty. There was a little kid up near the front commenting randomly. My favourite moments with this kid were at the beginning and end of the movie. At the beginning when the Vikings lit the giant tray things on fire he yelled out "They look like pies! Why are they setting pies on fire?" and at the end when Stoick was looking for Hiccup he yelled "Why did you bring me Mom, he just DIED!" I couldn't help but laugh a little at that kid. And then he had another moment when he saw the 'pies' were now full of fish. "Mom, they have fish pies!"
Second time: 2D showing, Sunday afternoon, not many people. All older teens and adults. Stoick makes the comment about it being his fault this one dude yells "Yeah you f*cking butt monkey!"

Despite the little kids, my two other audiances were blessedly silent besides when Hiccup was trying to put Toothless' fake tailfin on for the first time, some girl down in front said -really- loud "He made him a new tail!!"

Why can't people in my hometown be this awesome? xD At my Sea Literature class the other day, two girls were discussing Twilight with almost religious gusto (it was ... slightly creepy). Then one guy suddenly says, "Screw Twilight! I wanna see the dragon movie! The black dragon looks AWESOME!" Then he went on to say he was going to raid McDonald's until he got a Night Fury. In fact, he said he actually asked them once, "Do you have the dragon toys yet?" I don't know who this guy was, but I think I'm in love. xD

I felt silly the first time I went to McDonalds and got a kid's meal for the toy, so I said it was for my little brother xD
Although it's really bad I've visited Micky D's twice in a month, I want to go there again and ask for the little Toothless without Hiccup on his back.

I met the guy I mentioned earlier (the one who said Toothless looked awesome and all that) today. He saw my backpack (it has Hiccup and Toothless on it) and said, "That is an awesome backpack! Wanna see that movie!"
Then his sister (who is fairly good friends with me, actually) said, "Then let's go see it!"
So I had to jump in with my whole, "DO EET EET IS UH MAZE ING MOOOVIE!" Actually, no, I said it like a sane, polite person would.
And yes, elisabeth, he was cute. ^^
