(*shrugs* dunno. I'm gonna try to keep this going, however, if any of you ppl knew me when I was on Neoseeker, you'll know that I was very persistant in keeping threads alive...)
GreenStar watched the group, unsure of what to do. He had never been very social, and this is why he made no move to intervine...

Mordar listened to her responses, and was rather flattered when she called him "big" and "strong", almost to the point of embarassment. But it also made him happy that all was well.
As for resting, he decided to maybe follow her into the village, and choose from there, but of course he didn't want anyone to attack him for no reason, so he hoped that she could explain that he wasn't dangerous.

GreenStar watched this all curiously. He knew Pirateperch, but... He had never been actually introduced to this 'Mordar' dragon....

((I'd post, but I'm waiting for Mouse to get her cat back. I guess we'll take it from there...?

"Cat?" Mouse mumbled, covering her mouth with her sleeves and staring. She seemed to freeze up as Claudia walked off a ways, but merciful Gods she came back, a familiar critter with her. "Cat!"
The feline didn't look too happy to be caught up in another person's arms, struggling to get out and yowling in anger. Mouse, mouth st in a thin line, took him from Claudia, tapping a finger against his head. "Bad Cat...You be nice when people hold you, and you don't run off like that!" Cat growled for a moment before going quiet, and Mouse hugged him tight. I can't stay mad at you. "Thanks so much, Claudia, and--uhhhh...."
Well, in her joy at seeing Cat alive and well, she'd clean forgotten about what else was with her. Mouse stared straight ahead blankly, right between the eyes of one of the dragons, unmoving except for another slight tremble. A few moments of silence passed, then she suddenly let out another scream, tuning her back to it and crying "Don't eat him!"

Claudia gave the cat back to Mouse, and the girl turned to the new Fury and screamed all of a sudden. "What? Wow, you look like you've just seen a ghost!" Or a dragon...

GreenStar backed away from the group. Why was this small human screaming? He hid behind a tree, unsure of what to do...

Pirateperch was stratled by the other girl's scream. "Mordar!" she scolded, "I think you frightened the poor dear!"
A thought developed in the back of her mind: or maybe it wasn't Mordar she was screaming at...

GreenStar backed up faster, hiding farther away. Was it him who scared the girl?

There was, in fact, another dragon in the vicinity. He -- or rather, they -- had fallen asleep in the forest on accident; being the heavy sleepers they were, they had failed to hear all of the commotion. It was when the head on the left snapped awake that anyone noticed they were there.
Mudslug -- as the left head of the Zippleback was named -- had been having an intriguing dream that had startled him awake. His brother, Seasnake, groaned; every time Mudslug jerked his head around, it would wake him up.
When Pirateperch saw who it was, she scoffed. "Oh, its just them," she sighed, shaking her head, "Gobber's argumentative Zippleback."

Mordar heard the scream too, but he doubted that it was him who caused it. He turned to Pirateperch, and was wondering why she had scolded him, as he didn't seem to have done anything wrong.
He asked her, "Did I do anything wrong?"

Pirateperch shook her head. "No, it wasn't you," Pirateperch sighed, "It was those two. Seasnake and Mudslug. Gobber's Zippleback. They're the most argumentative Zippleback I've ever met."She trotted over to them. "What are you two doing out here? You've scared one of the humans!"Seasnake smiled cordially and gave a friendly nod at the Night Furies; he was the less socially awkward of the two. "We were out here," he explained, "because something interesting was supposed to happen tonight.""But then," said the far crankier Mudslug, "he fell asleep, and he wasn't awake so that he could wake me up!"Seasnake hissed. "EVERYTHING is my fault, then, yes? What about the Green Nadder from the Bog Burglar tribe? Was her leaving us my fault, too?""BOYS!" Pirateperch roared; if they started arguing too much, they'd never get any information out of them. "What's supposed to happen tonight?"Seasnake casually replied, "Tonight's the night the Grapple Grounders are supposed to come down from the mountain to take over the village."(I figured we needed a plot point. ^^

GreenStar just stood there, watching. All the dragons... It was becoming a little to much for him.

Mordar listened to the conversation, and wondered just exactly how this new arrival planned to take over the village. It was obvious that, unless he had quite a bit of help, he couldn't succeed. So he asked, "So, how are you going to carry your plan out?"
He then turned to Pirateperch. "Do you know anything about this?"

"S-Sorry..." Mouse whispered to Claudia, trying to relax. The other creatures didn't seem to be interested in her cat, now that she looked more carefully (and she really didn't want to, so Mouse had been sneaking half-second glances at them). "I'm...scared of...dragons," she mumbled, cheeks burning in embarrassment. Stupid girl, they probably figured that out already! "S-So I--Did you move?! she squeaked again, turning towards one of them--Mordar--with wide eyes.
Quickly looking away again, Mouse tried to edge backwards, to go home. "I--I really shouldn't be here much longer--bedtime, and I--ack!" The girl's clumsiness reared its ugly head again, and Mouse ended up getting her two feet tangled in each other, falling backwards onto her rump. Only the iron-grip on Cat kept him from running off again, though he was clearly trying to. As she opened her eyes--having closed them instinctively during the fall--Mouse swore she made out a few more shapes in the dark. It was hard to tell, but...Well, she could certainly hear something.
"What's...who's over there now?"
