GreenStar's stomach growled. He was very hungry, but under NO circumstances would he EVER eat fish! He looked around, trying to find something to eat, maybe berries or something...

As Thorgrim was walking, a sudden voice entered his head. He stopped instantly, startled. His head swivelled around as he tried to see who - or what - was speaking to him. It felt as if someone had just spoken to him, but almost telepathically. His gaze then fell upon the Night Fury who was walking behind him, and a confused expression came over his face.
"Was that...you?"
He wasn't sure if it was, but, if it was, then he had no idea dragons could do that. Or how they did it. Part of him became excited. Could dragons talk back? What if they could? A smile formed on his lips as he heard the Night Fury's stomach growl - he must be hungry. The Night Fury began foraging around. With nothing better to do, Thorgrim decided to help look for food. After a few seconds, he stumbled upon a blackberry bush, and called to the Night Fury.
"Hey! If you're hungry, I think I found you some food."

GreenStar heard this, and came running. {F-FOOD!} He jumped into the bush, and began eating, obviously enjoying himself. He grinned widely. {Th-thank!}

Thorgrim chuckled as he watched the Night Fury feed on the bush he had found. It intrigued him, though, to see that dragons were also able to eat foliage. Were they omnivores? Thorgrim didn't know for sure - he was not too familiar with dragons. He wondered if he ever would be - it was his dream to ride one, but he doubted it would ever happen. Or would it? He'd never know until it actually happened. If it ever did, that is. Once again, he heard a familiar voice speaking to him in his head. It still freaked him out, though, but he figured he'd get used to it.
"No problem," he said, patting the Night Fury gently on the head, before glancing back at the others, "what's your name? Mine's Thorgrim."
 {{OoC:: My apologies if I seem to be flooding the thread, but I figured, since Greenstar and Thorgrim are at the back of the group, they wouldn't have much effect on what was going on in front of them.}}[/blockquote][/blockquote]

GreenStar smiled. {M-my name GreenStar.} He looked around again, then looked up at Thorgrim. {W-want r-ride?}

"Mouse. Well, nice to meet you, Mouse. You already know that I'm Claudia." Claudia and Pip, with Mouse trailing behind, followed the white Night Fury to a tall tree, where the dragon stopped and made some dragon-ish noises. Another Fury jumped out of the tree and seemed to be talking back to the white one. "Well, I guess that must be the other Night Fury. I wonder what his name it?" Claudia thought aloud, with Pip stepping closer to the two larger dragons. She hissed at the Furies, but hid behind Claudia's leg when they hissed back.

Seeing that he wasn't getting anywhere with Thorgrim, GreenStar cautiously trotted over to Claudia. {H-hi!} He nudged her back a little with his nose.

So Greenstar was the name of this fine Night Fury? It was a fitting name - Thorgrim could see the star-like symbols that patterned his shoulders. For a moment, he wondered where they had come from. Perhaps it was a war paint? No, that wasn't plausible. However the pattern came about, Thorgrim could only ponder. He then heard GreenStar offer him a ride. A ride? Did the Night Fury mean "ride" as in "ride upon my back"? Half of Thorgrim felt like leaping for joy, and the other half suddenly felt scared.
"A...A ride? But, I've never-"
Before he could finish his sentence, he noticed GreenStar was missing. Turning around, he noticed GreenStar nudging the young woman, and a frown formed upon his face, and he sighed.
"Never mind, I guess."
Resuming his walking pace, he followed the group, still wanting to find out what was going on.

Looking back at Thorgrim, GreenStar smiled. {Y-yes! A r-ride!} He quickly trotted over to him.

As GreenStar returned to Thorgrim, the Viking raised an eyebrow, curious as to why he had come back. As the Night Fury spoke, Thorgrim's eyes widened. He couldn't believe it; a dragon, offering him a ride? But, how? Thorgrim noticed both of GreenStar's tail fins were missing - did they not need them in order to fly? Or was the dragon offering him a ride through the forest? Thorgrim wasn't sure.
"Thanks for the offer, but I have never ridden a dragon before...I," he was embarressed to admit it, but he had to, "I might fall off."

{N-no you w-won't!} GreenStar smiled, quickly ran into the forest and came back with his saddle and fake tailfin harness. {S-see? W-won't f-fall o-off.} He then gave Thorgrim the saddle, grinning widely.

He wouldn't fall off? Thorgrim wondered if riding a dragon was easy. He knew Hiccup could do it; and he was younger than Thorgrim - so, maybe, Thorgrim could do it as well? But he had his doubts - he had never ridden a dragon before, let alone a Night Fury. Before he knew it, GreenStar had left. Where had he gone? A few minutes later, the Night Fury was back - with a tailfin harness and saddle. Thorgrim had ridden horses before, so he knew how to fit the saddle and harness on - more or less. After all, it wasn't too different. But, still, he felt awfully nervous.
"Um...okay, I'll give it a try. Let me just put this on you." he said, slightly nervously. In a few minutes, GreenStar was properly fitted with his saddle and harness. Thorgrim took a step back, and let out a nervous sigh. It was obvious he was scared - he had never done this before.
"Okay...Let's do this." Slowly, he mounted the saddle, his heart beating against his chest. He wondered if he would fall off. Maybe even die. But, come to think of it, he had been in life-and-death situations before. After all, he was a Viking. "Just, please, don't go too fast. I'm...well...nervous."

GreenStar nodded. {W-won't go f-fast. B-but... Y-you n-need to c-control f-fake tailfins. Or I c-can't f-fly.} He grinned with excitment, The green stars on both his hind legs flashing brightly with anticipation, he was finally going to be able to fly again!

So this was it. This is what it felt like to be on the back of a Night Fury. He never thought this would ever happen - surely he must be dreaming? But, no, he knew this wasn't a dream. This was reality. Looking back at the group in front of him, he felt a cold sweat break on his forehead. He felt like backing out, but, no, part of him wanted to do this.
"W-won't go f-fast. B-but... Y-you n-need to c-control f-fake tailfins. Or I c-can't f-fly."
"Got it. I'll - I'll try my best." he muttered, fumbling around with the stirrups on the saddle. He noticed it was a very similar model to Hiccup's tailfin, and he had watched the boy use it, so he knew more or less what to do. But he had never done it before. This was going to be quite something. "Okay, I'm ready."
Looking down, he pushed with his foot so the tailfins adjusted, spreading out. They were ready for flight. And so was Thorgrim.

Mordar, wanting to give the opportunity of them to see a practice close up (with no damage to them, of course) shot vertically into the air, and then swooped down in a steep glide nearby, causing the signature screech, before shooting yet more fire into an area far enough away to not harm any of the watching group.
He set back down in their area after this display and awaited Pirateperch's response to his question.
