-x- Waer the Spiteful -x-It was nighttime Vikings patrolled around their borders of Berk Watching with each eye as they watched for intruders Despite now that dragons had grown trust with their new comrads There were some dragons out there who had little favor of siding with the heavily built humans. Speaking of "little.."
A quiet growl emerged from her throat. The Turquoise-Blue Deadly Nadder flapped her large wings in the night, the moon reflecting against her scaly pelt.
Waer was hungry.
The dragon was growing luckier now that dragons had finally united with the scaleless, pink bodies. But it didn't mean that from time to time they wouldn't defend their fowl.
Like most Nadders, Waer ate chickens and ducks. But what made her different? Her size, of course. Waer was...well, aware of her surrondings, and had learned well from the Vikings.
Don't strike immediately, go with caution.
As Waer landed silently, she crept in the small, tall grass of Berk, not far from where the Dragon-Gaurded flocks lay. She had no intention on the gummy wool-covered mammals called sheep, her digestion couldn't handle such disgusting meat. She wanted her meal of poultry..now.

Pirateperch was having a pleasant dream. It involved herself and a rather handsome male Zippleback, but details shall not be mentioned here. Every female deserves to have her secret fantasies kept secret.
A strange scent and sound caught the albino Night Fury's nostrils and ears, and she awoke instantly. Her head darted up, accidentally hitting against the ceiling. For a second, she had no idea where so was: oh yes, of course, she had curled up under someone's floorboards for the night. Like all Fury's, Pirateperch could squeeze into the smallest caves and such.
Pirateperch pulled herself out from under the house, shaking the mud from her white scales. Ears pricked up, she crept off to investigate what she had smelled and heard.

GreenStar shuffled around in the forest, thinking. He missed his friend terribly, and besides... He was unable to fly without her... He snorted, shaking his head. She'd be back soon... If she hadn't gotten in trouble yet... He rolled his eyes. [Humans... What is with them?] he thought, smiling slightly.

Mordar looked into the night sky, and wondered whether to attempt to destroy a section of tree, as a practice attack in case he needed to defend himself at any point.
He decided on a spot of land that appeared desolate, other than a clump of trees. Ever since the wars had ended, Mordar had decided that attempting to attack humans wasn't terribly necessary anymore, and let them go about their business. He DID however, still require food, and thus his practice hunts, and also just in case any Vikings had second thoughts about the alliances...
He shot straight up into the air and bolted down, firing a shot of the Night Fury's signature flame, which explodes on contact. Not being able to see the accuracy of his shot, he zoomed past and landed on a far off rock, awaiting to see his results.

[[Hmm...I think I'll drop Mouse here and torture her a bit. =/]]
"Caaaaat! Caaaat!" Mouse shuffled down a path, hands cupped around her mouth. The cat had escaped her grasp not two minutes ago, and there was no way she was going inside, going to sleep, without it. She needed that little guy to be her "comfort source," and he might get lost outside! Sure, her aunt told her that cats always found their way home, and if Cat ever escaped, he'd come back when he got hungry, but Mouse didn't care. She wanted him home now!
That and if he was out of her sight for too long, he might be charred and blackened by the time she found him... "CAAAAT!" she shouted again, leaning over slightly in her yelling. A few seconds later, a yowling was heard, and the gray critter ran towards her. Mouse bent down and scooped him up before he ran through her legs. "Got ya! You stupid thing, where--"
The explosion hit half a second later, and Mouse bolted, running the opposite direction, screaming a high-pitched shriek. She held Cat tighter to her chest, and he growled in protest, not liking the tight confines and the way he was bouncing from Mouse's running. Hissing and scratching, he wiggled out of her grasp, falling to the ground and running towards where the strike hit.
"Cat, no! Bad cat, bad cat!" Mouse shouted, turning around and chasing after him. She kept her eyes on him, trying her best not to look at the sky...

Ormarr and Surtr were flying high above the woods, when they suddenly heard a loud explosion. By the sound and the color of the explosion they both knew what caused it. Night fury. Surtr quickly flew down to the location of the explosion and landed on the nearby grasslands.
Suddenly a small grey animal ran past them. It ran so quickly that they couldn't see what it was, but it definately wasn't a dragon. A little girl was chasing it, but she stopped when she saw Ormarr and Surtr. She seemed very frightened when she saw Surtr in the darkness. "Don't worry, he's not gonna hurt you" said Ormarr. "What happened here?"

»♦« Thorgrim »♦«
I am so high, I can hear heaven. I am so high, I can hear heaven. Oh but heaven, no heaven don't hear me.
And they say that a hero can save us. I'm not gonna stand here and wait. I'll hold on to the wings of the eagles. Watch as we all fly away. Lyrics ~ Chad Kroeger (Nickelback), "Hero"
A spiral of ivory-white sheen danced upon the waves that gently lapped against the shoreline of Berk. To add to the ambient serenity, a gentle breeze caressed everything it blew over. Tonight was just as any other night - here Thorgrim was, wandering around, outside the village, at a time where he should be elsewhere. But, then again, this was Thorgrim - the young, strong yet seemingly naive viking was often in place where he wasn't supposed to be.
He continued his idle stroll, unaware of his surroundings - he was lost in a world of his own. Suddenly, steel-blue flames sent a glowing flash through the air. Thorgrim's eyes widened in surprise and, instinctively, he reached for his longsword, which was strapped on his belt.
"What the...What was that?!" He began running to where the commotion had come from and, as he got closer, he slowed down. And, carefully, he crept along, curious to find out what exactly is going on. He snuck through the forest, branches and vines brushing past him as the young Viking boy pushed forward. Half of him thought what he was doing now was idiotic, but the more adventerous - the more naive - part of him had to confirm his suspicion of the fact that there could be another Night Fury around. After all, the firework that had illuminated the area a few minutes ago was a signature attack of that dragon. He just wondered if he'd make it back out alive. But, then again, Vikings lived for the thrill of life-and-death. And Thorgrim was no different.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Mordar watched from the rock the fire rising. He had made the attempt to hit an area of trees that would not cause the fire to spread, and so checked back to see how things were going. He wondered whether anyone was around to see, and should they come, he wouldn't attack, yet.
He had no intention of harming anyone who didn't harm him, so he awaited to see what would happen..
He was ready should anything happen.

Claudia and Pip were sitting in a small clearing, and the girl was feeding her small Terror fish. They were both startled by an exlosion. Pip whimpered and crawled into Claudia's pocket. "It's okay, Pip, just some dragon practicing, I suppose. Maybe a Night Fury?" Pip peeked her small head out of Claudia's pocket and sqeaked. Claudia thought it sounded like Pip was saying 'You sure?' She laughed. Her little dragon was so cute. Standing up, Claudia started in the direction of the explosion. Maybe if she showed Pip that everything was okay, she wouldn't be so scared.
As Claudia emerged from the clearing, she almost tripped on a small, grey cat. She turned to watch the cat, and collided with a black-haired girl. "Wow!" Claudia said, and Pip growled at the girl. "Shh, Pip, we mustn't frighten her." she whispered. "I'm Claudia, and this is Pip." Claudia said, gesturing to the Terrible Terror now attempting to smile at the girl. She wondered why the girl was chasing a cat.

Pirateperch didn't find the original thing that had woken her up, but she did happen upon something equally interesting. Besides, of course, the explosion; however, she knew it was her friend, Mordar, simply doing some late-night practicing.
Two human females, a Terrible Terror, and a cat were standing in the road, chatting. Well, the humans were chatting, that is. The cat and the Terror were glaring at each other.
At that point, Pirateperch felt her stomach growl. She was rather hungry.
Mayhaps they have a midnight snack? Pirateperch though to herself. She trotted over to the girl holding the Terror, nudging her back gently with her nose.

Mordar, seeing that he had succeded, and (hopefully) not hurt anyone, shot up into the air again, and flew across the night sky at breakneck speed. Of course, even with the camouflage of the night, it's hard to mask the sound of a Night Fury flying at high speed. His practice being effective, he flew across a huge tract of land, staying only close enough to not cross the border into the village of Berk.
He set down on a promontory overlooking the village, and looked around for a sign of someone to meet, perhaps converse with (if they were a dragon of course)
He thus picked a good position on the promontory, lay down, and began to sleep, waiting to see if a good opportunity to meet someone friendly would awaken him...

Dim voices met Thorgrim's ears as he crept along, concealed under the onyx shadows of the trees stretching up above him. There were people conversing with one another not far ahead. As Thorgrim neared the source of conversation, he saw a young man, a young woman, a girl and two dragons. Had they also came here to inspect what had just happened? He did not know, but he figured he'd find out soon enough. Deciding to reveal himself, Thorgrim stood up and, rather nervously, walked up to the group, dipping his helmet slightly in a respectful greeting.
"Um...hey there...You guys didn't perhaps see a..."
He then saw another dragon; this time, a Night Fury. It was an albino, but Thorgrim recognized it as one of that type of dragon. Had it been the one to cause the commotion? He then saw another one - there were two of them.
"...night fury."
Thorgrim was slightly confused - what were these people doing here? Who were they? And, most importantly, why were they here? He hoped these questions would be answered, but, until then, he'd just have to introduce himself.
"My name's Thorgrim, what are all of you doing here?"
Thorgrim felt so shy in front of the people and dragons that stood before him, and he wondered if they would pay him any attention. If they didn't, he'd simply respectfully leave and leave them to their business. But the more curious part of him wanted to find out more. Especially about that Night Furies. He just hoped they didn't mind him being here - but this was also his village, wasn't it? Still, his quiet, observant nature made him feel so out of place here.

Mouse let out another, though somewhat quieter, shriek when she saw exactly what was in front of her. A man was alright, she could deal with those...it was the dragon she was worried about. "Ah...Ahhhh..." she stuttered, taking a few steps backwards. "I'm...uh--..." She was too busy staring at the creature to hear the other's words, that it wouldn't hurt her. Even if she had, it probably wouldn't have made much difference. "I-I-I...." she stuttered, seeing a gray blur beyond them both. Oh!
"IgottagofindmycatI'msorrybye!" she gasped out, running past them at top speed, trying very hard to avoid eye contact with either of them. Unfortunately, she didn't get far, colliding with another girl who appeared seemingly from nowhere. "AAAH!" Mouse cried, falling flat onto her face. "'m sorry!" she cried.
"Wow!" Mouse heard the other say, as if she wasn't hurt. "I'm Claudia, and this is Pip."
"Pip?" she asked, looking up, and then freezing again at the sight of the tinier dragon. It's okay...it's little. It's okay, it's little, it'sokayit'slittle-- The mental mantra did nothing to stop her shaking. Before she could say more, she heard someone else arrive, asking if they'd seen a Night Fury. Was that a trick question? Must be....how d'you see those? Taking a giant step back from the other people and looking to the newcomer, Mouse hugged herself, sleeves falling a bit. "H-Hi, Thorgrim...I need to find Cat! He g-got out of my house," she explained to everyone. "And if I don't find him, he's gonna be..." Mouse shuddered rather than imagine what would become of him.
The cat, seated and washing his paws and glaring not too far from the others, but still hard to see, suddenly turned away. He saw something a little ways away--two something. Cat arched his back and hissed a bit.

"Yes, Pip." Claudia thought the girl looked scared, but before she could say anything, she felt a soft nudge at her back. Spinning around, Pip growling again from her pocket, Claudia saw a Night Fury. But this one was different. Instead of being black like every other Fury she had met, this one was white! "Well hi there!" Claudia said softly. She reached out to pat the pretty dragon, who was sniffing Claudia's pack. "Oh, I bet you want some fish." Claudia reached into her bag and pulled out a nice, large fish, one that she knew Pip would have trouble with, and offered it to the Fury. Pip continued growling. "Oh, shoosh. You couldn't fit your mouth around that." The small dragon sniffed indignantly, jumping out of her perch in Claudia's pocket, and turned her back on the girl and the Fury, sticking her snout in the air. Claudia laughed.

Mordar awoke and, perched on the rock, decided to attempt another try, to see his accuracy on a target. He scoped out yet another deserted tract, and shot up into the air.
Flying at a high speed over the next target, he was sure that everyone on the ground would hear the ballistic screech of a Night Fury in a dive, and he fired another blast, towards an empty patch of trees, before landing within a short distance of the group meeting up in the woods.
He meant no harm to them, and awaited a reaction. If all went well, he was completely invisible in his flyover to reach them.
