^Well, no it's not. ______
Some memorable quotes:
Stoick: Remember son, Berk is still for people. Gobber: Vikings before Dragons *Toothless gives him a look* Gobber: Yeh, I said it. Deal with it. ________ Snotlout: Ah! I love these storms! When it rains, I cancel bath night and just stand outside with nothing but a sponge and a bar of soap
Fishlegs: We know. The village has had meetings about it. ________
It's nice to see that the lightning didn't do any permanent damage to Hiccup. Thor smiles on that one.
But yeah... this was a good episode. What does everyone else think of it?

Loved it. I'm mean, I saw the lightning-hits-Hiccup and cracked up because I was flashing back to the fight with the Red Death.

True. I still crack up every time Hiccup says "Well, at least I didn't loose another one." when he wakes up. xD

Every time? So I assume you've been rewatching it quite a bit?

Same. I've been doing it with the episodes, the specials, the movie...
Actually, it's funny. I had just gotten home today, and I turned on the TV. And it was just starting.
I was kind of thrilled.
On an actual plot note, I'm hoping the Statue of Thor gets relocated to an actual, serious spot somewhere up high. It did come out nice.

That would be nice. Except I think that Mildew totally deserved it.

Yeah, he does. But revenge was dealt out. It was an ingenious prank.
I suppose Toothless needs a new tail now... I wonder which one was the one destroyed (I believe he's racked up quite a few variations by this point... yet Hiccup's leg always remains the same).

Eh. I'm sure that between Hiccup and Gobber they'll be able to create a perfectly suitable replacement, yes?

I'd guess. What I meant is that Hiccup probably has a few tails lying around. The one he made when Heather visited to challenge Astrid in speed, the one he made in Thawfest to beat Snotlout... The one he had from right at the end of the movie. Maybe a few more I don't know about. And of course the early prototypes.
I've been semi-conciously tracking the prostheses through show.. Well, Toothless' mostly, as he's the one who keeps getting new stuff. Hiccup basically stays the same (although I do find the symbolism and meaning in both Hiccup and Toothless' lost 'limbs' to be extremely profound).

Mmm, true. And I'm sure Hiccup kept and repaired that automatic tail he made in Gift of the Night Fury. I guess we'll see in the next episode.

Right. Or, assuming it's not directly after this time-wise, there will just be another tail there with no explanation. I have doubts Toothless will ever accept his independent tail, although it would be useful for him.

Probably true, or in the opening, we'll see Hiccup making a new one and then the first actual scene will be him flying. Always seems to be like that. For almost every episode.

He enjoys making tails. Which, I guess, is for both of them... because who needs a leg when you're riding a dragon anyways?
What kind of struck me in this one was the huge deficit in scientifical understanding by the people of Berk. For example, the total lack of understanding about metal and lightning, as well as the whole "earth is round" concept Which, I mean, I can totally get considering the type of world they live in that they might not have that knowledge... but still, it's kind of weird. Especially for people like Hiccup who we tend to think of as brainy.
