In a few minutes, Misael ha collected a good sized pile of firewood. Once he thought that it was enough, he made his way back to the overhang.
As he saw Ashmore and Blackheart, he couldn't help but notice that something was wrong with the dragon. He was looking down at Blackheart, but there was something else too.
"Something wrong, Ashmore?" he asked slightly worried as he got closer to them.
As he got closer to them, he realized that Blackheart was awake.
"Blackheart!" he said. He hurried over to them, setting the firewood down close to them, and then he kneeled over him. "How do you feel? Are you alright?" he asked.
-------------------------------------------
Silvermoon felt her shoulder pop back into place, along with an enormous amount of pain. It hurt even more than just trying to move her arm. She roared sharply for a brief moment, dropping the branch before she quickly bit it again, forcing herself to growl instead.
She kept her eyes closed, waiting for the pain to calm down a bit. Each second seemed to take long to pass as she waited, and about a minute later it eased. She was breathing hard still, and then dropped the branch.
"Thank you..." she said in between breathes. She lay there for a moment, her head still on the snow until she felt better. Her whole arm still ached, especially when she tried to move it again, but it thankfully didn't get any worse.
A few minutes later, she lifted her head up and looked at Shade.
"We have to go find the others and make sure everyone's alright" She said. Her arm was still bleeding as well, but she didn't care. She tried to stand up, struggling in doing so.
------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, Roran and Sulphurwing were hurrying through the woods, trying to get as far away from the battle area as possible. They got to a clearing, and stopped. Roran dismounted the dragon's saddle and looked around.
"Looks like this is a good place to stay for now...I hope everyone's alright," he said. Sulphurwing Squawked in agreement, and lay down, allowing her human friend to sit down against her.
They waited there, resting for a moment, and trying to decide how they would go searching for the others.

Ashmore saw Misael returning with firewood. The human noticed that Blackheart had awoken and rushed to his side, dumping the firewood in a pile in the middle of the overhang. As they began conversing, Ashmore go up and lit the firewood. The overhand of rock they were under prevented the smoke from being noticed from afar, so they were safe at the moment.
Ashmore knew that the two humans would be alright. What they needed now was a plan of action. They needed to make it back to the Sanctuary. Flight would be the most successful route, though Ashmore wasn't in the best condition for flying. He would need a day or so to let his wing heal.
He remembered the Sanctuary's location. They would have to traverse over the mountains and to the shores on the other side. There, he would have to fly. From there, it was a straight shot to their island, a path in which only few knew about, and none of which were enemies.
They would have to leave soon. They would need to put as much distance between them and the soldiers as possible. For that to happen, they would need to leave before nightfall.
They needed a bit of rest though. The strain of the day had been hard on all of them, Ashmore decided. In more ways than one. He turned to the humans and made a gesture, signalling that he was going to get some food. He stepped out into the day and slowly went off in search of some game.
It took a while before he found something, as there was no snow on this portion of the mountain. He couldn't follow any tracks. However, his smell didn't deceive him, and soon he was upon the train of a small deer. When he finally caught sight of the animal, he waited int he shadows for the right moment.
When the time was right, Ashmore sprung upon the animal, making short work of it with his claws. He picked up the carcass in his mouth, and bounded back to where the humans awaited.
When he arrived back under the outcropping, he dropped the dead deer down by the fire. He smiled at the two humans. "Lunchtime."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Klink's heart had almost completely calmed down from the battle frenzy. He decided to re-surface and get some air in order to finish calming down. It was this act and state of slight off-focus that allowed him to ignore the presence of two life forms that were above him. Standing right where he was about to re-surface.
Klink broke through the earth with a crash and pulled himself out. He was about to slither off into the forest when he noticed something. He turned around and saw a Blue-Greenish Deadly Nadder and a human looking up at him from across the small clearing he was in. They had apparently been quite startled by his sudden appearance. Many people were.
He turned completely around, coiling up his body. "Did I sssurprisse you?" he asked them, chuckling. "Mossst people are."
He realized that there were still looking at him in shock, not even noticing anything he was saying. Klink narrowed his eyes. "Ssstop looking at me like that. Keep doing ssso and I'll give you sssomething to be truly ssscared about."
The human kept looking on at him, though the Dragon looked a little calmer, sensing Klink's dark (yet relate-able) humor. He grinned, showing his hundreds of fangs. "Good to sssee that you've ssstill got sssome sssenssse about you. Tell me, what isss your name, dragon?

Seth wondered where he was going to be taken until he was dropped in front of a mountainside cave.
The cave looked large enough to fit the group.
Seth noticed that Flameskull was carrying someone else. It was Samantha. He didn't realize that she had been injured on the battlefield.
Seth didn't know much about Samantha. All he knew really was that she was on the same team as him.
I need to get her inside the cave. Seth thought.
He then walked over to her unconscious body and picked her up. Seth walked into the cave, hoping again that the day would get better.

We have to go back...Silvermoon's words echoed through Shade's head. We have to go back. He realized she was right. With an explosion of guilt, he realized what had happened. In the midst of the confusion of the battle, combined with the shock and pain of knowing that Waldorf was still alive, he had forgotten his priorities. He and Blackheart could've killed Waldorf for good this time. But he hadn't been thinking straight, and when Blackheart had told him to run, he had ran. Not only had he potentially spared Waldorf's life, but he had left Blackheart as well. He might be dead. Shade had to know. But as he was about to agree to go, he realized something else. Blackheart was dead. Or he wasn't. If he was, it was on him, and he would have to face up to that. But either way, there was nothing else he could do now except mourn. Because he had to look after Silver now. She was hurt, and if they went back, there was a good chance that she would die. He couldn't let that happen. "No," he said. "No. The only place we're going is further from here. We need to put some distance between us and them. They'll be searching these woods." He sensed that Silver was about to protest, so he said, "Don't even try to argue. There's no way in Helheim I'm letting you go back, and I'm certainly not leaving you here. Not get up; I'll help you walk." He helped her up and allowed her to sling her hurt foreleg around his neck. Then, he spread his wing and wrapped it around her body, keeping her pressed against him so that she could lean on him more easily. It wasn't the most comfortable position, but he'd go through a lot worse to save his family. They started walking in the opposite direction from where they had come. ______________________________________ Blackheart watched as Ashmore got up to leave, and then turned to Misael. "I'm alright," he said. "As alright as I can be anyway..." he sat up, and began to tear at his pant leg. Once he had torn a good sized strip off, he began dressing his wound. "Are you alright?" he asked. "Have you seen Shade or Silver?" _____________________________________________________ Flameskull watched as the two humans settled down in the cave. He made a motion for them to get firewood, and then left to go hunting. (kind of block with Flameskull )

"I'm fine, thanks..." Misael replied as he moved back a bit, allowing Blackheart to sit up.
"Have you seen Shade or Silver?" Blackheart asked.
Misael felt worried as he wondered if Silvermoon had made it out. And what worried him too was that Blackheart didn't know where Shade was.
"Silver and I got separated in a cave in back at the caves...I hope she made it out safetly...As for Shade, I haven't seen him. What happened? How did you get separated from him as well?" he asked, and a few seconds later Ashmore came back, dropping a dead deer by the fire. "Thanks, Ash," Misael smiled back at the night fury. He pulled out a knife he carried to cut out some meat from the dead animal as he listened to Blackheart.
--------------------------------------------------
Silvermoon sighed as she realize she wouldn't be able to convince Shade. He helped her sling her arm over his neck, which hurt a bit, so that she could walk easier. "Thanks" she said quietly.
She remained quiet as they both slowly moved on. She really wanted to find the others and Misael, to know if he had made it out saftely or not. She tried to push the thought away and just hope that he was alright. As they were walking, she remembered what Shade had briefly told her at the cave, befofore it began collapsing.
Waldorf was alive.
It took her a few seconds for to acknowledge that. Many feelings went on in her head as she remembered what that man had done to them and their brother in the past.
"Wait, Waldorf is alive? But how!" she suddenly burst out as she stopped walking, out of shock.
--------------------------------------
Sulphurwing and Roran were both sitting in the clearing when suddenly they heard the ground behind them break with a loud crash.
Startled, They both immediately stood up and faced the direction of which the sound came from, and saw as the same Whispering Death that they had seen in the battle emerged from the ground.
Roran was about to tell Sulphurwing they should leave when the large creature suddenly saw them. Sulphurwing stood in front of him protectively, incase the dragon were to attack.
Sulpherwing remained silent as the dragon began talking. He talked in a strange accent, but she still understood him perfectly. She felt more confident as she realized he wasn't attacking them.
"...what iss your name, dragon?" he asked her.
Having a feeling that perhaps he was on their side, Sulphurwing felt confident enough to answer him.
"I'm Sulphurwing. What is your name? if you don't mind telling me. We saw that you were fighting against the imperials as well," she said, staring into his eyes. Roran stood behind her, still frightened by the Whispering Death. He could tell that the two of them were talking, even though he dint understand what they were saying. He remained silent, hoping the drgon wouldn't attack.

Ashmore was glad to see that the humans were eating. They knew that they had to get their strength up. They would need to make hast soon.
He began to feed upon the deer, leaving plenty for the others. When they had all finished their meal, Ashmore turned to them. "We need to leave now. The soldiers will be looking for survivors, and I don't have the ability to fly at the moment." He gestured to his shoulder. He hoped the two humans could understand what he wanted.
More than ever now, he wished he knew if Samantha was alright.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The world around her was dark, and Samantha was terrified. She was alone in a void of endless black, where a cold and desolate wind whispered evil things which she could not comprehend.
The black rippled and split as it formed various scenes of horror. It showed her friends, being defeated one by one by the countless soldiers. The Imperial Army overcoming the base and slaughtering everyone within. She saw Ashmore, cold, wounded and alone, softly calling out for help as he lay dying...
Tears came to her eyes. She tried to run to him, calling his name. She needed to be there, to say that everything would be alright, that he would be okay. But that was not the case. Her feet were locked to the ground by and invisible force, and no sound came out of her voice.
She could only watch helplessly as Ashmore's body burst into flames. She screamed, desperately trying to break her bonds and rush to him, but she could not free herself. The flames parted and a figure walked out towards her. He loomed above her, looking down with eyes filled with insanity and hate. Eyes that she never though she'd see again. Waldorf.
He grinned manically and spoke, in a deathly inhuman voice. "Just. Like. Nico." He then turned his head to the black sky and laughed with such an evil quality that it brought lightning crashing down. Above him, in the midst of the swirling thunderclouds, was a shadowy figure. Far larger than Waldorf, wrapped completely in shadow, spare two bright, red eyes. The being laughed along with Waldorf, which sent down even more lightning.
Samantha was frozen with fear. Her twisted visions, Waldorf's sadistic appearance, and the volley of lightning was too much to bear. And the shadow, the dark figure looming in the clouds, was too much for her. She began to shake, uncontrollably. She pulled out Pyra.
Stop.
The figures kept laughing, sending lightning down to torck everything around her, to send her into a deeper and more nightmarish realm then she was already in. Samantha squeezed her eyes shut.
Stop.
STOP.
SSSTTOOOOOOOPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!
Her entire being burst into an inferno of blue flame, and she launcher herself, Pyra in hand, directly towards the laughing figure of Waldorf. He stopped laughing, only to look directly into her eyes and grin even wider than he already was.
Samantha's eyes snapped open. She was dazed a moment, and then realized where she was, and more importantly what she was doing.
Seth was pinned to a cave wall by her, with a lit Pyra pointed directly at his throat. He was staring at her with a mixture of shock and terror.
It was all a nightmare. The horrific end had caused her to attack, not only in the dream, but in real life. Seth could have been killed.
She started shaking. She instantly dropped Pyra, which clanged as it fell to the floor. The fire went out instantly. She let go of Seth and stepped backwards, fully realizing the near terrible act she had done. She sunk to her knees, and began to cry.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Sssulphurwing, ehh?" Klink responded. "Interesssting name. Mine's Klink. Strange, isssn't it? Though I guessss it'sss a sssuitable name for an equally ssstrange dragon."
He heard Sulphurwing's comment about his fighting. "Ahh yesss. I have a bit of a tendency to get a bit... well... battle happy... asss one might call it. Asss for the sssoldiers, I hate them asss much asss you do. They've been nothing but trouble, hunting us dragonsss down day and night. I haven't ssseen another one of usss for yearsss becaussse of thossse pessstsss. Ssserves them right that I interfered with their battle. They had it cming ever sssince they killed the firssst one of usss."

Seth had set Samantha down in the cave. He then sat near her, thinking.
Not one minute went by when Samantha started to talk in her sleep, saying "Stop." over and over again.
Seth was glad to know she was conscious.
After Samantha stopped talking in her sleep, she stood up.
Oh, so she sleep walks? Seth thought, as he stood up as well.
He watched as Samantha slowly pulled out her sword and lighter.
I don't like the looks of that. Seth thought as he got anxious.
He stepped back a little to see what she would do.
Samantha lit her sword and then quickly moved towards Seth. She looked angry.
"Uh-oh." Seth said as he walked back quicker, still looking at her.
While walking back, Seth stumbled over some rocks. This allowed Samantha to get closer to him. She finally got to him and pinned him against the cave wall.
Seth could only gasp at what was happening. Was he going to be killed by a fellow rebel? Seth watched as the flaming sword came close to him.
Suddenly, Samantha opened her eyes and noticed what was happening. She slowly became confused and sad. Samantha dropped Seth and stepped back. She then keeled and started to cry.
Seth plopped to the ground, still shocked at what had just happened. He felt even worse watching Samantha cry in front of him. Seth didn't know if there was anything possible he could say to make things a bit better...

"Keep walking," Shade urged to Silvermoon. They continued their trek, and Shade explained everything that had happened. "He's alive," he said. "And Blackheart might be dead now because of us." _______________________________________________________________________________ Blackheart finished dressing his wound, and then started to help Misael with the deer. "Well... something happened. It's him... He's still alive... Waldorf." He told the story to Misael, answering the Vikings questions as they cooked, and then ate. When they were done, Ashmore signaled that they had to go. "Alright," said Blackheart, standing up. "Mind if I lean on you for a bit, Ashmore? This wound might make it hard to walk at first." _________________________________________________________________________ Flameskull returned with two dead deer clutched in his claws, only to see Samantha awake and in tears. He turned to Seth. "Oh what did you do?" he asked. (blockish )

"He's alive, and Blackheart might be dead now because of us."
Silvermoon was speechless. She was quiet for a few seconds, not believing everything Shade had just told her.
She tried holding back the tears in her eyes as she remembered everything Waldorf had done. She remembered seeing him kill Their brother in front of them. She felt sorrow, confusion and anger. All at the same time.
"How could he still be alive...? Seth killed him! He killed him! " she said, her voice breaking as a tear fell from her eye. All these years they thought they had avenged her brother's murderer. And now, knowing that he still lived was too much to bear, as it brought back the painful memories of the past.
Aside from that, just thinking that Blackheart might be dead made her feel worse. She had known him since she was a hatchling, and he had been a great friend of theirs since then.
"Maybe he's still alive..." she said, knowing that maybe Shade was feeling like her right now. Then she remembered that Misael was also in the caves, and there was a chance that he too could be dead. Weather he encountered Waldorf and lost to a fight against him, or he was killed when the rest of the cave fell.
She just wanted to go back, but Shade had a point. They could get themselves killed if the soldiers found them. There was nothing any of them could do bit wait until it was safe to look for the others, or wait until the others found them. Silvermoon just hoped they were both still alive. _________________________________________
Misael was also speachless after Blackheart finished telling him everything.
"Gods...we need to tell the others. Who knows if that bastard is still alive or not. Let's just hope that he remained trapped in the caves, and that that will be his grave. At least Shade and Silvermoon didn't run into him. I just hope they're all right..." Misael said as they stood up when Ashmore signaled that they ha to go.
"Thanks again for the food." Misael said to Ashmore as they started walking. _______________________________________
"Thanks...and interesting name you have their too," Sulphurwing said. This dragon seemed friendly, so she thought she'd talk with him a bit. Roran just watched the two as they exchanged different sounds. He felt more calm now, seeing that the massive Whispering death seemed to be friendly. She listened as he continued talking.
"Yes, I understand what you're saying...We've been fighting them for many years, ever since they attacked our home island and the war started. We haven't seen many dragons either...It's just been us, along with our friends who've we been with. Thank you for helping us out there by the way." she commented

Ashmore nodded his head to Blackheart's request to walk against him. He knew that the human would have trouble getting around at first. It would heal, though.
Ashmore went over to the fire and stomped it out with his tail. Hen then dug a small hole and shoved the ashes and the deer remain inside. After re-filling it, it was almost as if their camp had never existed.
"That should throw off any soldiers in pursuit," Ashmore warbled to himself. He turned to the humans. "Now, let's be off."
He went over to Blackheart and helped him to his feet. he let the injured human lean on him as they began to set off out of their camp and across the mountains.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Through the pain, horror and tears, Samantha realized that Flameskull had arrived to the cave. He must have found her unconscious and brought here here, along with Seth. She heard the dragon address Seth. "Oh what did you do?"
Samantha tried to clear the tears aside, and spoke in an incredibly shaky and distraught voice. "He... he didn't d-do anything. It was all me. I... I... I almost did somthing terrible."
The human and dragon were both at a loss for words. She continued on. "I p-passed out in the battle. One of my stress attacks."
The tears were still coming. She pushed them aside, needing to finish. "The nightmare world I was in w-was a living Hell. I saw everyone k-killed in there, and there was nothing I could do about it. And then... and then... Waldorf was there. He... he killed Ashmore. And then I tried to kill him. And I woke up then, and it was Seth there instead, and my sword was lit, and I almost... I almost...
She could not take it any further. Everything that had happened that day, from almost alerting the soldiers, seeing her friends almost killed many times, and what she had almost done now... It was too mush for her to bear. She was wracked with deep sobs, and tears flowed endlessly.
She only wanted the pain to end. She wanted the war over, and to know that everyone was okay. She wanted to be with Ashmore. And there was no way of her knowing if he was even alive.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Don't mention it," Klink replied. "Though I mussst sssay, I didn't even realize that you were ssstationed near that ocean of evildoerssss. I had... tended to a few of them earlier today, and I realized that they had a nice big camp ssset up in the valley. I thought it would be a wassste if they were just left there without any interventionsss to their plansss, ssso I decided to make an appearance. Though If it weren't for the asssissstance of your forcesss, they would have likely overwhelmed me. I have that to thank of you."

Seth noticed Flameskull walk in the cave as Samantha was crying.
Uh-oh, he's going to think I did something to her. He thought nervously.
Flameskull gave a look that basically said "What did you do?!"
Before anything else happened, Samantha tried to explain what happened. She was able to say what happened, even with her deep sniffling.
After she explained everything, she continued to cry.
Seth still sat up against the cave wall, thinking he should probably get some firewood soon.

"Look," said Shade. "Misael wasn't there when Waldorf attacked maybe he's still alive. Maybe Ashmore's still alive; he wasn't there either. Heck, maybe Blackheart kill Waldorf once and for all." He stopped and looked at her. "Whatever happens, we're going to be okay. I promise."
Shade didn't know if that was true. He was going through pain himself. But he had to be strong, for Silver.
It was strange, he realized. Silvermoon was the oldest of their family. In the months after the invasion of Berk, she had helped Shade and Ashmore much like he was helping her now. They wouldn't have made it if it weren't for her, Toothless and their riders. Now, it seemed the roles had been reversed. Silver seemed as if she was on the verge of a breakdown. So now, Shade had to be the one helping her.
"Come on, we need to keep going," he said. "We need to find somewhere safe to stay." ______________________
"Silver's strong," Blackheart said. "So is Shade and Samantha. They'll be okay." They kept walking. ______________________
Flameskull watched the crying girl, unsure of what to do. Finally, he came to a decision. "You, go get firewood," he ordered to Seth. ______________________
Sirrush was hunting.
He had been sleeping in a nearby cave, hiding from imperials, when he had woken up in the middle of the day hungry. He had tried to ignore it, but his stomach wouldn't let him sleep. The Nightmare decided to quickly catch something, and then return to his sleep.
He had gone out, staying on the ground so as to stay hidden from any imperial troops that might be passing. Then, he had found a buck and was now closing in for the kill.
He charged at it, readying his claws. There was no way it could get away; he was too fast. But at the last second, an arrow shot through the air, barely missing him. Sirrush stopped and whirled to where the arrow had been shot, only to find a group of imperials.
"Well now," he said. "What do we have here?"
The imperials drew their swords, wordlessly challenging him. "Die, unholy scum," their leader said.
"Oh I don't have time for this," Sirrush moaned. He roared, and burst into fire, fire hitter than any these imperials had every experienced. He opened his mouth as they charged, and spewed it over them.
Their screams of agony rang through the air as they burned. Most of them went down, but a few survived. Sirrush quickly dispatched them with slashes of his claws.
When the battle was done, he lifted his flaws to his mouth to clean the blood off. Amatuers, he thought to himself. But then he thought of something else. What would a patrol be doing out here, in the middle of nowhere.
Maybe there's a camp nearby, he thought. His stomach rumbled, and he grinned to himself. Maybe I can find a snack there, he thought.
He found the trail the soldiers had left and began to follow it.

Silvermoon thought for a moment about the things Shade was telling her. He was right, Misael and Ashmore weren't there in the caves. And even though one or both of them could've encountered Waldorf, after hearing her brother's words she was sure that they were both alright, and Blackheart as well. Another tear fell to the ground, though she was starting to feel better. "Thanks Shade." she smiled faintly at him. ---------------------------------------- Misael sighed, "Yes, they will." he said. Even in that moment, he was sure that everyone would make it out alive. He looked ahead if them, and walked beside Ashmore and Blackheart. ---------------------------------------- "Well, you're welcome." Sulphurwings answered to Klink. Roran stepped beside Sulphurwing, staring at the large Whispering Death, slightly in wonder. "Oh, this is my rider, Roran..." Sulpherwing said. ((Block-ish on all my characters...idk what else to make any of them say ))

The trio continued to walk. Their pace was slow, yet steady. They would be over the other side of the mountain by nightfall, and they would arrive at the ocean by daybreak, according to Ashmore's Calculations. He should be ready to fly them to the sanctuary by then.
He listened as the two humans conversed with one another. They were confident that their friends had survived and were beginning to feel optimistic. That made Ashmore happy, to see that they were believing the best had become of their friends. Ashmore believed that the same was true.
They continued their journey, until they were met with a split in their path. Their left route seemed to branch off into the forest, leading across the mountains like thy had been doing. The right path, however, led down into a natural canyon in the mountainside.
Ashmore paused and considered the two paths. The path on the right would save them hours of travel time. It seemed to cut right though the mountain. His decision was simple.
Ashmore made the gesture for them to take the right path. The humans agreed, knowing that it would be a massive time saver. They began their trek through their new found passage.
Ashmore's confidence lessened as they began to walk. The walls on either side of the canyon arched up to massive heights, making the blue sky above seem incredibly far away. The end of the canyon seemed endlessly distant, and didn't seem to get any closer despite their pace. The walls themselves were made from a strange type of rock, and were angles so that climbing them would prove to be incredibly difficult. Ashmore suddenly wished that they had taken the other route.
Suddenly the canyon widened abruptly, forming a large circular field in the rock. The ground was different here, and seemed to be made of a darker rock than the rest. On one of the canyon walls was a massive cave that had been hidden by an outcropping of rock. Unlike the rest of the canyon, which seemed to be natural, this cave was different. It looked too jagged to be hollowed by weather or rain.
Ashmore stopped. He could smell something. He had never smelled it before, and it gave him unease. He stopped the humans and looked to them. "Wait here," he said. They got the message and waited.
Ashmore slowly walked up to the cave and looked inside. It was too dark to make out anything. He stepped a bit further inside. He could make out nothing more, but the smell had gotten stronger. He thought he vaguely remembered it from a long time ago, though he couldn't put his claw on it.
He decided to give the place some light. He protruded a fireball and launched it down the cave.It cast a quick light on the walls as it traveled, and exploded when it hit the far end of the cave. When it did, it illuminated something that made Ashmore's blood run cold.
It had illuminated the outline of a massive slumbering beast.
Which he had just woken up.
Ashmore couldn't believe how careless he'd been. He remembered the smell now. It had been on his father once while he was still young. When Ashmore had inquired Toothless as to what it was, he told him of a dragon that he had just done battle with. It was incredibly territorial, and would obliterate anything that posed a threat to itself, or more importantly, it's children. It was something that Ashmore didn't want to get on the wrong side of.
Ashmore bolted out of the cave as the being lifted it's head to see what had awoken it so abruptly. It immediately noticed him and roared, pulling itself up in pursuit. Ashmore bolted over to the two humans and motioned for them to get on his back immediately. They heard the roar from inside the cave and took the hint.
As Ashmore quickly let them on, he looked down to the floor of the canyon. He realized why the rock was a different color. It was a burn mark. Toothless had told him about it long ago. The signature spiral of the dragon he had just manage to tick off.
"One bad decision after another." he muttered to himself. "Will my choices ever get any better?" He hoped so.
The second the humans were on, he immediately bolted down the canyon toward the exit, just as the place they were previous was swamped by fire. With a roar and a burst of flame, the angry Typhoomerang blasted out of its cave and charged off in pursuit of the Ashmore and the Humans.

Samantha fought the tears. She needed to focus. She wouldn't be getting anywhere like this. She needed to be strong, for her friends. She would be dead-weight if she couldn't stand up on her own. Like she hadn't been already, withe her being unconscious.
She saw Flameskull order Seth to go retrieve Firewood. The human complied and left the cave. It was just her and the Boneknapper now.
She had been around Flameskull enough to know that he wasn't especially fond of humans. This made her even more surprised that he had even gone out of his way to rescue her in the first place. This was a pretty big act for him to commit.
She got to her feet, wiping the remaining tears from her eyes. Flameskull noticed and turned to her. Before he could say anything, Samantha spoke.
"Thank you. For saving me. I know I haven't been the most helpful as of recent, but it means a lot to me. Especially from you. I know you're not the most fond of... my kind... so knowing that you did it means so much more. I'll try to be more useful, instead of being just another member of your party, as you might think of it. So once again, I thank you for letting me be here. I would most likely be dead if it weren't for you."

Klink had noticed that the Human that Sulphurwing had been with hadn't done much except stare up at him in awe. He decided to get to know him a bit more personally. He quickly slithered over to the human, eyeing him up close. This startled the man, and he jumped back a bit. Just as Klink was hoping. He loved messing with people.
"Roran, eh? I've never ssseen a human quite like you. One who ridesss and isss alwaysss with a dragon. Mossst humansss I've met usually end up asss lunch."
He chuckled, knowing that this wasn't really true. he nodded to Sulphurwing, hoping she'd get the hint. "I haven't ssseen a rebel human before, though. I don't know much what they are like. I think it ought be time I found out. Ssso, Roran, what'sss your deal? What isss it that you rebel humansss do?"
The humans still seemed to be at a loss of words. Klink grinned even wider, showing his multitude of fangs. "What'sss the matter? Can't you ssspeak? Or can you not understand usss dragonsss?"

Seth noticed Flameskull gestured out of the cave. He knew that it was time for him to get some firewood.
"I guess I'll go get some firewood..." Seth said as he stood up and left the cave.
Once Seth was out of the cave, he saw where the forest started and walked towards it.
