It was blackrose's birthday? Happy Birthday! ;D (where do we check to see if it's someone's birthday anyway?) (BTW, Eel... That picture almost made me die laughing! )

Haha, I love how guest members always come up and post something awesome! The last time that happened we got the huge content dump for Gift and now mysterious (and rather epic) storyboards! I love it! Interestng, I want to say this is for the sequel, since it seems very epic, but then again it would say "How To Train Your Dragon 2" if it was, unless they're trying to keep that a secret. So....maybe it's for the tv show, since as far as we know that's getting the same name as the movie. Hmmm, either way, wow, this looks so epic, and even Snotlout's getting some screen time. But I'm excited to see Hiccup and Astrid being epic with their dragons, good times ;D I'll have to investigate and see if this person is working on the tv show or the sequel. But, good find Guest person. You should join the forum! Oh, and thank you for all the birthday wishes everyone! The HTTYD community is full of love (I mean, it is almost Snoggletog and all )

The person who posted those on their blog is a storyboard revisionist at "Nickelodeon Animation Studio," so it looks like they're from the TV show! Nice find! (And a perfect About & Submit example, blackrose108 ;D)
Haha, it looks like Hiccup might have fallen off Toothless again in #1...

IcelandicEel: That is a good "About and Submit" example. Haha. But, since the tv show is being done at Cartoon Network, then it wouldn't be a Nickelodeon studio, right? Oddly enough, I searched this girl and there's no indication she's worked on HTTYD related anything (not even on her resume), but obviously she has, unless these aren't her storyboards but a friend of her's.

Oops. I guess I forgot about that. But still, I'm not sure how much crossover there is between Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. They're both based in LA. It's possible she just hasn't updated her resume yet. It's also possible that she works more for Dreamworks than either. She did Kung Fu Panda for Nick, and then moved on to Dragons for Cartoon Network.
EDIT: Not to mention that it's the storyboard format for TV, not a movie.

IcelandicEel: Hmm, that's true on the formatting, good call. Still if this is how epic the tv show's going to been, the I can't wait to see all the "ambitions" the sequel is supposed to have. Seems like the Viking Teens are being pretty stealthy, though I can't tell where it is they're sneaking into.

I'm not even sure of their order. They seem to make sense the way they were posted on the blog, but then their file names are out of order. It looks like 1,2, and 4 are outside the dragon training ring, and perhaps 5 as well.

Yeah, I was noticing one was saved as "033" and another was "02" so idk. Still the epicness is there, even if it's out of order. I wish we knew what filled in the blanks though Edit: Also, a little off of this topic, but still on topic this site said that the show will be airing in late 2012 which is expected but still...such a long wait....and I forget if this has already been posted or not. www.infurnation.com/?p=1826And another Edit: beldum.blogspot.com/2011/12/how-to-train-your-dragon.htmlThis site says the show will air around CHRISTMAS 2012. I'm really hoping that's wrong, because I don't think I can wait literally a whole other year. And this site: www.edjohnsonpresents.com/2011/03/cartoon-networks-list-of-2011-2012.htmlsays that the tv show will have the same name as the movie. So 'How to Train Your Dragon: The Series" is my best bet at a title.

More from Tom Owen's blog. He's pretty frequent with his HTTYD sketches, so I'd keep my eye on him. This one's a little gross...but it's not like we didn't all expect a scenario like this to happen eventually: Still, you can't help but laugh a little bit, Toothless looks so innocent.
