I'm sure there was a thread for this way back when. But, since the tv series is the next big thing happening in the franchise we might as well get all excited and discuss stuff!
What we already know:
~It'll air on Cartoon Network sometime in 2012:

~According to an interview Executive Producer Tim Johnson linked below, they plan for this TV show to be "deeper" and "darker" than most Dreamworks series so it won't be lightened from the movie's content:

~John Sanford is appearently the director of 7 episodes in season 1, and an undecided number in season 2 as seen here:

~A 92 panel storyboard for season 1, episode 10 was found on Dan Chris Kubat's website. It introduces a new side character, Heather. The panels can be seen here:

~Jay Baruchel, America Ferrera, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, and T.J Miller will be returning for the show!
~Episode 8 will feature Stoick getting his own dragon.
~Heather will serve as a evil antagonist towards Astrid, and an unofficial new love interest for Hiccup.
~Berk's Grapevine had a interview with Dan Chris Kubat (a storyboard artist who worked on the show) which revealed a lot about the show:

~The first official commercial aired on Cartoon Network and revealed that the show is called "Dreamworks Dragons: the Series", it's due Fall 2012, it's rated TV-PG-V
