Ok, so any mistakes or anything is due to my computer being a bitch and not letting me open Word so I'm typing everything in the message box. This is going to be updated every now and then... but let me just say this is ENTIRELY FOR LOLS AND NOT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY.
One could say that a pair of Night Furies wandering together was 'rare, but not at all uncommon'. It was one of those things where it just happened, but perhaps because the majestic Night Fury was a rarity within itself that it would make sense that they would at least have own companion of their own kind. However, despite this reasoning, some Night Furies refuse to associate with any others of their own species. It might have been a result of their temparament, or perhaps their maturity. This particular mystery was yet to be solved, because apart from one dragon, only one Night Fury had ever been seen and recognised in Berk.
Toothless was just like his boy, except for a few things. One, he had no interest in sharing things. Two, he did not like flying with other dragons. Third... Toothless shuddered at the thought.
There were two things in the world which he hated, more than anything. One - eels. He despised them. Not only did they make him literally ill, but the taste was so repulsive that he was put off anything else after just the slightest taste. His boy would never have guessed he hated anything else with a higher passion until now... and there was one thing he loathed more than eels.
Females.
Much unlike Hiccup, who was always going on about gurls and dates... Toothless could not stand the other gender of his kind. He understood that without them, his kind had no future... but it wasn't like he was the Very. Last. One. So, with that reasoning in mind, he quickly turned his nose away with disgust at the faint scent on the breeze. It was a sickly sweet smell, though not strong enough to be sensed by any other species - but it had sensed his presence. This one was looking for a mate.
Unfortunately for him, Toothless was in midair with nowhere to land but the sea. Hiccup was listlessly turning his tail this was and that; but generally not changing direction. This worried him. Baring his teeth slightly, he used the faint updraft to soar higher, growling to his boy, in the hopes of getting his attention. His quiet plea fell on deaf ears as Hiccup began to talk again.
"Hey, bud - you think we could go flying again tonight? Astrid - "
Rolling his eyes, Toothless turned out. That Girl again. As nice as Hiccup's new girlfriend was, Toothless did not care about That Girl. It was bad enough that it was late summer, where there was a certain 'romantic' feeling within the village and the wild dragon habitats! He didn't need to know about That Girl! What was so important about That Girl anyway?! What was with the female species altogether?! Deep within his mind, he knew he was being juvenile, but Toothless was really qite tired of the whole thing. Especially with the scent beginning to assault his senses, fuzzing up his mind - 'Oh. Now I remember why I left the group in the first place.'
Female Night Furies were dangerous to him. Not only were they severely annoying and time consuming, they completely consumed the male's senses with that bloody smell! Venting his anger, Toothless pinpointed the direction of the smell, shooting a ball of fire at it. There was a cry from the trees dotting the very edge of the land of Berk, loud enough for both him and his boy to hear.
"Agh! Toothless - what was that for?! Jeez... I think you've actually hit someone, bud! We better see if they're alright." Hiccup's tone had moved from distracted to alert, giving Toothless a mixture of feelings. Relief, because his boy was the way he used to be before That Girl became his girlfriend, panic, because they were heading to the exact place he did not want to go, and annoyance, because Hiccup did not understand that he showed anger to that particular place for a reason! With resignation, Toothless let Hiccup steer him towards a clearing, which cleary showed signs of dragon fire (his fault), and that a dragon had destroyed the greenery (the female's fault).
Toothless felt Hiccup dismount gently - his leg was still bad and easily hurt. However, Toothless did no offer a 'shoulder to lean on', as usual. His eyes narrowed; baring his teeth at a small gap in the bushes. Soft ocean blue eyes blinked back at him, a gentle purr responding to his threatening growls. His boy jumped, before gasping in recognition. The eyes had been, naturally, part of a face alike to Toothless when he was in a good mood. She was sleek, her colouring a subtle blue-black. Her wings were folded neatly on her back, her tail curled invitingly to the sky. She blinked again, her expression clearly giving the impression of a dragon's smile.
"Well, what do you know, bud? A friend!" Hiccup laughed, patting him, with a suggestive nudge. Toothless glared at him, venom glistening in his eyes. He growled menacingly at the female, hoping to scare it off. It stared intently, unabashed.
"Alright, Toothless... We'll go back to the village." Hiccup said gently, climbing onto his back. Glad of his boy's revelation come all-too-soon, Toothless took off, but not before giving the female one last growl. Hiccup laughed as they flew off.
"You know, bud, that mightn't be the last time we see her..."
Toothless knew that all too well.
Females do not give up easily...
So... what did you think? Don't take this too seriously... if anyone was getting seriously worried and were about to shoot me with atomic bombs, let me reassure you - there is NO Toothless/OC pairing. Toothless just gets very, VERY annoyed.
