Alright... instead of doing my homework like I should, I plan to write a short update. I mean VERY SHORT.
Everything was alabaster. Untouched by the world, the beauty of winter's spell was cast upon the village of Berk, capturing Toothless in a state of awe and wonder. Never before had he seen something so beautiful... never before had he had the time to stop and admire it. He had flown to many places... seen many wonderous sights... but this one truly felt like a place to call his own...
Then she had to appear out of nowhere and ruin it.
Good morning, Toothless! she called softly. With a particularly frustrated huff, Toothless turned away, angry at himself for not watching the silent scene by the window while Hiccup slept as he knew he should.
Go away.
Tension swept through the air along with the icy breeze that blew onto the female, bringing a dreadful shiver that tingled through her face to her tail. Glancing back for a second, Toothless noticed this. Quite unlike his disposition toward her, he softened slightly.
It's warmer up by Raven's point. Closer to the sun.
The female's face shot straight up in amazement, eyes widening at the slight... kindness in Toothless's tone. Realising what he had just done, Toothless huffed again, turning away.
Well, go on.
M-merci, Toothless.
De rien.
As the dragon flew off towards the point, where it would surely be warmer, Toothless watched. Winter's spell had been broken.. he would have to be more careful from now on, otherwise a new spell would be cast upon him.
L'amour est la meilleure chose... si tu veux mourir.
So, what'chu think? Agh... this pairing is starting to grow on me... Please... someone shoot me!
Anyway, a translation of the French terms used:
Merci: Thankyou
De rien: It is used for "you're welcome", but literally means "it's nothing", pretty much. It's informal.
The last sentence... well, I made it up on the spot, so it might have one or two mistakes (more with grammar than anything else, though) - so if you're like me and love French then feel free to point it out - but anyway... it means:
"Love is the best thing... if you want to die."
