Hey guys,
I've been thinking of an idea for a HTTYD web series that I think would be brilliant for DreamWorks to do. My idea is to have the series based on what I would refer to as "Hiccup invention fails." Each 30 - 60 second webisode would feature Hiccup trying to test/demonstrate his new greatest invention, but instead of working as it's supposed to, it fails in the most catastrophic and humorous way possible.
For example, you could have Hiccup build a contraption that is supposed to help auto-shave the wool off of the sheep (Phil can star in this), but instead, it turns all his wool into a big cloud of wool powder or sets it on fire or something.
You can probably come up with better ideas, but what do you guys think of the general idea of having a web series like that?

Lol nice idea XD. Though it would be annoying to some people because of Te huge ammountof inventions Hiccup makes and fails. Its like they'll be like "Doesn't he even give up???" Itwould be nice though if Dreamworks made a few of those before the series starts or something XD. IcelandicEelUmm...Your website with the screenplay. I can't seem to access the PDF file :/. It just re-directs me to the main page .

Oops, sorry for not coming on here. For some reason I stopped getting notifications, so I assumed that nothing was happening. oneill5491: That would be an awesome web series! I would definitely watch that. Wouldn't it be cool if they actually made it? toothless11: I see. Actually, my whole site went down a while back and I lost the pdf. I'll try to make one soon. I also read your other post... I hope everything is going all right for you

Oh. Ok lol XD Well besides that I wanna read it again, I might actually study it as an example of a screen play XD. I'm currently reading a book called The Divide and I'm loving it soo much, that I feel like making a screenplay for it XD. And thanks. Though stuffreally aren't going too good with us at all .

Cool! I read that book too (it's good, isn't it?) and you definitely should write one! I'll try to put mine back up, but I probably won't be able to get to it until Saturday. Oh, well, then I hope it all gets better soon.

Well my mom just paid the phone. Things still aren't going good though. Even our water was about to be cut.

www.amazon.com/Dreamworks-Dragons-Double-Two-Disc-Blu-ray/dp/B005LZW944Okay, guys, finally there's a HD version of the trailer, and the American version at that, because apprently the first one we saw the the international version. There's a new voice for the narrartor guy, and a new scene of Hiccup and Toothless flying (which is awesome btw). And, of course, the HD makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE. I was one of those people who was worried about the animation quality but it looks fine to me in HD so, yay! I have no idea how to youtube upload, so someone who does can, but the video is on the amazon page in the link above (right under the blu-ray pic), so click away!

Awesome, thanks blackrose108! I uploaded it to Vimeo ( vimeo.com/30221692), if you can't view it on the site or something. It should be up soon. I'm a little disappointed with the look of the game. It doesn't look as interactive as I thought it would be. Although, I am basing this off of two screenshots of it, so who knows. And I'm not sure if the kid is wearing a dragon costume anymore. It's possible that he's just carrying a highly festive plant.

The graphics for the games are a lot better than I thought it would be, but I've seen so little of it I can't exactly judge.
And that's definately a plant the kid is holding, not a dragon costume. It looks like more holiday decorations. Also, the first new scene with Hiccup jumping off of Toothless seems to prove that Toothless still can't really fly on his own (and that apprently Hiccup can't jump over things without falling on his face XD) so that'll probably one of those main points in the story. About them learning to get around that, I suppose.
Hmm, I'm still excited, and if all else fails, at least the flight scenes look good.

Oneill please hurry and upload it! XD Done and done! ;D This video is still far from HD, but it's certainly better than the UK one which was sub-SD. Remember, a video needs to have a minimum of 720 horizontal lines (i.e. a frame height of 720 pixels) to be considered HD. I really liked that added flight scene with Hiccup and Toothless. It would seem that Hiccup is turning into an adrenaline junkie! He's gonna kill himself. The online video game is spot-on what I expected it to be. Fairly simple graphics (though more complex than the simple in-browser flash games) and somewhat mirrored the game-play of the official console game. On a side note, I'm glad Amazon finally lowered their price from $23 to the actual correct MSRP of $20. Now I can put in my pre-order.
