I just remembered, I should shoot some complements over to Pete for a job well done. Trying to figure out what I can say in particular for the work he does as a layout artist. Perhaps that all the holiday decor looked awesome? XD

Lol I copied the "lots of love" thing from these guys that read an email that this person sent to the creator of a game called Minecraft XD. Except when they read it they changed a few things and that outré was one of them  . |

Except when they read it they changed a few things and that outré was one of them . OH! I SAW THAT! Simon and Lewis from Yogscast read it! IT WAS THE FUNNIEST FREAKING YOUTUBE VIDEO EVERRRRRR!!! I laughed so hard at this line: "Snow breaks torches? FLIP!!!!!" ((But it wasnt "flip" XD)) BUT BACK ON TOPIC!  I ont think the series is ten months away. I thought it was coming out next year. so maybe more like... 6 or seven? but it depends.. I guess it could be ten months eh? Dang. Lets hope its a bit sooner. |

Yeah, there's some sites that say second half 2012. Don't all new programs come out in the fall when school starts?

Yeah, most new shows will come along in the fall...but some can come during the summer. I'd back on fall of 2012 though, so we have quite a wait to go. Plus I read somewhere that the tv will air 2012-2013, so I'm guessing that it's gonna have to start later in the year if the first season runs through both years. And as for a comment IcelandicEel said was that it was a good sign that they're already planning a season two. I'm not sure that it's because they're already expecting it to be popular (though I'm sure it will be), I think it's just because they're really using the tv show to bridge the movies. So a second season might be needed for storytelling reasons. Which seems good to me. Also, and interesting tidbit is a new page on the Cartoon Network site: www.cartoonnetwork.com/dragons It's normal for the shorts to get promotional attention from CN because of it's obvious involvment, but on each other pages on the site it features some new music that we haven't heard in the movie or the shorts. I wonder if it's a sneaky sample of music from the tv show? It's quite possible that a good portion of the tv show has already been written, animated, and scored already, so it might be possible. Odd thing is that I'm not too worried about the content of the tv show anymore. Judging by Gift and all the comments about them trying their hardest to make it have depth like the movie, I'm fearing less and less that they'll be able to pull it off. My beef now is what exactly is the budget cut going to do with the visual aspect of the show. Even though Gift was technically a lower quality of animation, it was very good. I just wonder if the voice cast and decent animation are still going to part of the mix of the tv show. Because I'm pretty sure the budget for Gift was higher than what it is for the tv show. |

I think the only problem in animation in Gift was the people's faces when you looked at them closely. But I really think they improved lots of things . Like thesnow looked REALLY realistic. Also im not sure if it's just me, but the ocean looked better also . Especially with the cloudy sky. |
