I honestly don't know if there's too much more we can ask. I plotline seems pretty known for right now and anything else is just spoilers that I doubt Peter will release. I did find someone else who worked on hatch/gift and was actually able to get in contact with him, just waiting for a response to see if he'll tell me a little more about it. He's already replied once, so I hoping he'll reply again. But, like Peter this guy is also working on Madagascar 3.
But, it seems like we'll be getting a different scenerio than was was leaked in those storybaords a while back. Since in those, the dragons seem to all be flying out of the room when Hiccup comes in and announces it, but in the promo it seems Hiccup sees the dragons flying off while he's already flying on Toothless, and then probably goes back to berk to tell them. So the re-write probably is something slightly different than what we saw in the storyboards.

That trailer could have been the HTTYD 2 trailer (cuz it was ebin  ), the thing is that it's not..... only 20 minutes..... |

The storyboard I found was early, but not that early. According to their trademark page, Dreamworks had already decided to use "Gift" by that time. But it's funny. This is Dreamworks's second title change. The short used to be called "Secret of the Holiday Hatch". And some people even think there was a fourth title: "A Dragon Thanksgiving"

Oh lol. So those were also planned titles? I think Hatch was better a it show how the dragons hatch. What do a bunc of hatching dragons have to do with some gift of a night fury? XD

And I think we are not fully considering #2. What if only Night Furies have the ability to hatch dragon eggs? (I actually considered this when writing mine.) It might not be this exactly, but it relates to the plot and gives Hiccup/Toothless an opportunity to be heroes.

Well I Facebook there's this fan page for Hatch, but it should be changed to gift.
Really I just have those pessimist thoughts again. I know that book of Dragons Is Gonna be even WORSE than anything. I'm absolutely excited for gift however. I am so asking for the DVD for my b-day XD.

My guess is it's the same thing as the DVD version, but with included interactive controls and sub-menus that only the Blu-ray disc format can deliver. I'm starting to think that's it's actually going to be a literal book that you'll be able to flip yourself. Each time you flip the page, you'll see the dragon come alive on the page while Gobber, Hiccup, Astrid (who I still think will not have America's voice), and Fishlegs voice over the details of the Dragon.
