Rufflout for the win.
I like Hiccup and Astrid, but like...in the future. It's hard to explain. But in the course of the movie it was confusing. Like there was no interaction at all between hate/jealousy then luv. Which I can kinda understand because blah blah kid's movie blah marketed towards young boys blah, still. I prefer Hiccup and Astrid in a future relationship after they get to know each other more...or I would support it if someone came up with some fanfics of their interactions during the movie off-screen.
Okay, it's been stuck in my head thanks to the facebook characters, I wanna see at least ONE Snotlout and Hiccup. Just one, then I'm off the stuff for good. xD
Oh, and obligatory HiccupxEVERYONE since he's the main character. IF THEY EXIST THEY SHALL BE PAIRED WITH THE MAIN CHARACTER.

Personally, I always love me some same gender pairings. .... I guess that's why I like TuffxHiccup and RuffxAstrid. DON'T JUDGE ME. I actually like most all the pairings.
JUST LIKE WITH ABOUT EVERY OTHER FANDOM I BELONG TO.

Okay so I like RuffLout, but... there's actually a pairing that's grown on me thanks to a couple of pictures on dA and I'm totally so shipping it now for reasons I CANNOT EXPLAIN and that... that is RuffnutxFishlegs. Why? As for Hiccup and Astrid, I think it went something like this:

Not a huge fan of any pairings, but I do enjoy Ruffup and the occasional Hicrid. Friendships.... Hiccup and Tootless (the definition of cuteness) Hiccup and Astrid Hiccup and Ruffnut Not really a friendship, but I like the relationship that Hiccup has with his father. Stoic obviously cares for him, but is frustrated and doesn't know how to handle his odd boy  |

The relationship between Hiccup and Stoick is one of my FAVORITE parts of the movie, mostly how much it changed at the end.
At the beginning you can tell Stoick cared about Hiccup, but since Hiccup is completely different from every other viking he had NO IDEA how to deal with him. It gets stressed and pushed and just when he thinks Hiccup may actually be his definition of "normal", he finds out his own son is friends with a dragon, which is almost blasphemy in their world. He was definitely in a moment of "Oh Odin, what have I done?" when he said Hiccup wasn't his son. And at the end he finally started to understand and accept Hiccup.
That last "this-gesturing to Hiccup" moment was ADORABLE.

The only pairing I really ship is HiccupxAstrid, cuz I am in now way a fan of same gender pairings at all. So yeah... HiccupxAstrid is all for me. ^^
Toothless/Hiccup for friendship is just plain... there, lol. Of course I love that. And Stoick/Hiccup for father/son is also very adorable. I love how much the relationship changes throughout the movie, and how plainly seen the change is. I just... love it.
And I haven't seen Gobber/Hiccup mentioned... as friends. I think the two of them are rather close. Gobber seems like the kind of person that would take Hiccup fishing or something when Stoick is too busy to... XD

Totally forgot about Hiccup and Gobber! They have a cute relationship; Gobber is kind of like a surrogate dad to him. So, I know this is in the books, but I do love Hiccup and Camicazi. I also am starting to like Snoutlout and Astrid *shot* I think that their relationship is hilarious: dumb jock trying to please the tomboy |

Well, I'm not really much of a romane pairing person for this movie; even AstridxHiccup, while cute, is kinda awkward for me, with Astrid going from "I don't care that much for you." to "I REALLY hate you." to "CLOUDS!". I don't know, it might just be me.

I agree, albinotanuki.... I found her rather quick change of demeanor a bit OOC. In the end I still like them together, it just seemed really strange that this chick who was born and raised to fight and kill dragons, and who hates Hiccup's guts with a searing passion for placing 1st in dragon training, suddenly turns around and loves Hiccup and dragons with no crescendo into it. :/ So no, you're not alone on that point. xDD
Usually I'm into canon pairings, and like them to stay that way.... but I can totally see HiccupxRuffnut and AstridxSnotlout. I don't know why, they both just seem so adorable (especially HiccupxRuff, how you can SO tell she kind of has a thing for him in the movie and I'm pretty sure he's oblivious to it xDD). And AstridxSnotlout for reasons similar to what aile said. I can see it being this kind of one-sided, unreciprocated relationship at first, with her having little interest in him, but eventually growing to understand each other and really care about each other.
For whatever reason, I have a hard time seeing RuffxSnotlout (just... I dunno. I'm not feeling the chemistry), and RuffxFishlegs is adorable and funny, but to me Ruffnut doesn't really seem like the kind of girl who would actually commit to a serious, long-term relationship. She seems like the type who's in more flings than relationships, I don't know why I can see that in her personality, but I can.
As for Tuffnut, he's easily a player and heartbreaker. 'Nuff said.
