Animation error my friend and I noticed. When Hiccup draws the pic of Toothless the first time, he scratches the tail out. Then, the scene changes to where Hiccup's looking in the dragon book. When he puts the drawing down there, it has the left tailfin yet again. Then, when he's in the blacksmith shop, it's gone again, and he draws it in.
Also, when Stoick and Hiccup are talking in the blacksmith shop, my friend noticed this little trinket sitting on the shelf behind Hiccup. It's like a little bowl or something, but it has eyes, a moustache, and a viking hat on it.

Am I the only one who noticed the classic soundeffect 'chomp' when toothless was eating the fish? I found that hilarious
The 3-D was AWESOME! There was so little 3-D effect, that it made the movie seem great. Almost like Alice in Wonderland. Not alot of effect on the 3-D makes it more realistic. Unlike Coraline on the other hand, which has horrible 3-D effects.

Just saw it in IMAX 3D for the first time. Holy wow. Haha. Had me jumpin' a lot there. Good thing I took some Dramamine for the flying scenes.
Anyway, I kept finding weird little things. There's this gray-haired Viking behind Hiccup during the first lecture Stoick gives him, and he keeps reacting to things Hiccup says. When Hiccup says "the village could use a little less feeding," he puts his hand on his stomach. When he says he has to just kill a dragon when he sees one, the same Viking rolls his eyes.
Also, when they're passing under the destroyed ship as they pass through the fog at Helheim's Gate, one of the Vikings mutters "Oh that's encouraging."
Also, did anyone catch Tuffnut throwing up the horns and sticking out his tongue as Hiccup flew by in the final fight? XD
Last one I can think of, as it relates to the "what happened to Hiccup's..." thread, is that while the right side of the saddle (from what's visible) looks relatively in-tact, the left stirrup and straps are completely mangled. For me, this just makes it seem a lot more plausible that his foot got stuck in the stirrup and completely trashed when he got thrown free.

OOo, CJ... I never noticed that, [the last thing] Gives me a good idea too...
But overall, everyones named what I noticed. But why did I have this weird feeling during the part where the Gronckle got eaten, that it was going to happen. I was like, 'Wtf? You's gonna get eaten!'

Speaking of the "Chomp" sound in the movie did anyone notice that even in the final battle the Queen Dragon had it when it bit anything?

During the one scene where they're learning to fight the Zippleback (shortly after "Your butts must be getting bigger. We thought you were the dragon!")) Tuffnut gets pulled backward and disappears in the thick smoke or fog or whatever it is. There's a real quick shot of the girls, during which time Ruffnut gets this really worried look on her face and steps forward just before Astrid stops her. Ruffnut was worried about her brother! I found that kinda sweet!

Elphie- I noticed that as well, and it made me laugh that she's all worried, and he bursts out of the fog and literally (And I mean quite literally) ran over her.

YES! That made me laugh so hard! And his cry of "Oh, I'm hurt! I am very much hurt!" sealed the deal for me for that scene, lol.

I noticed something about Hiccup's sleeves, of all things... on the end of them, he seems to have this line pattern sewn into the fabric... in other viewings, I thought they were actually tied onto there. XD I would also like to know where they get all that brown fur for their clothes! Because I don't recall seeing any brown haired animals in the movie at all!

CJ, I caught the "Rocker Tuff" as he has been dubbed by my mother. I LOL'D.
That scene with the smoke and the Zippleback reminds me SO MUCH of The Fog.
Anna, maybe they have bears... somewhere? XD Who knows, we didn't really see any real animals besides birds, fish, and the sheep. (and a killer whale)

Has it really been confirmed to be bear fur? Because I would swear on my life that it's some kind of beaver or other small rodent.

When Stoic talks with Hiccup about 'that dragon' the papers on the desk change. - For some reason, before Toothless and Hiccup hit the Sea Dragon's tail, Hiccup fiddles with the right stirrup despite it being the left one that operates the tail prosthetic. The stirrup is actually controlled by BOTH feet. Note on Hiccups cheat sheet it shows 2 lines in each box, those lines are actually foot positions, not numbers.

How did I not notice THAT?! ... Maybe it's because they always seemed to focus on his left foot?

I think focusing on that foot was their way of foreshadowing... *Twilight Zone theme*

To comment on an earlier point that Hiccup using the right stirrup was an animation error, or that both stirrups control the false fin, i have an alternate theory.
Since some of their flying manneuvars probably depend on them being perfectly in sync with each other, and since Toothless can't feel what the fake fin is doing, I think that the right stirrup may be used to signal Toothless in some way, maybe there's something that nudges him in the side based on what position the stirrup is in and that combined with however Hiccup is positioning himself on the saddle tells him what he needs to be doing at that moment.
