*reads the Warriors movie article*
...I dunno about this. I love Warriors, not so much now as when I was younger (but still lov 'em), and I'd always hoped for a Felidae-esque movie. Felidae being, of course, an animated movie (kind of a Don Bluth style of animation) that was absolutely gorey. First time I watched it, it immediately made me think of Warriors.
And Rihanna as Bluestar? No no no no ABSOLUTELY NO. I'm sorry, but in my mind, Zoe Caldwell would make the perfect Bluestar. When I was a wee lass (lol), that was the first voice to pop into my mind for Bluestar. Guess it never went away. ^^;
I guess I'm just peeved at the whole 'famous folk famous folk famous folk' cast here. But hopefully they'll pull it off. ^^;

O CRAP I WASN'T SERIOUS ODIN! TAKE IT BACK!! >.<
I only wanted a Warriors movie in theory, now I have to watch them butcher a good series... [Even if the author SERIOUSLY needs to just stop the series now. .__. When did warrior cats become bears?]

I don't know...I'd really like to see a remake of Eragon. (Ugh...In my opinion, the movie was godawful compared to the book.) While they're at it, Eldest and Brisingr, as well. Maybe even the fourth book, too. Any other books? I really like the Chronicles of Ancient Darkness series, but I'm pretty sure they're already making a movie about that. Can't wait. There's also Crispin, the Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica, and a lot of other books I can't name from the top of my head that aren't already listed here.

Chronicles of Vladimir Tod, The Looking Glass Wars, and a book called Stolen Children from a few years ago. A good mystery movie would be nice
By CoVT would be Uber interesting, as the books in general were different from your average Vampire stereotype

What is wrong with Zac Efron? I think its better than Chris Brown!! I think it would be good, and I find it suiting. It just seems that everybody from my generation is obligated to hate everything from this generation. We're practicing for when we're old. I want a remake of the Cirque du Freak movie. John C. Reilly as Mr. Crepsley, that is just insulting. I think they only read the cliffnotes of this series when scripting the movie. I am depressed that a fairly good series was RUINED by this movie. I was so excited for it, too.

Unless you live in my neck of the woods, seems all the girls my age down here love the Jonas Bros and Hannah Montanna. *shrug* That said, I wanna see a movie version of The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle. That book is amazing. Read it for Sea Literature, it absolutely blew me awau.

That said, I wanna see a movie version of The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle. That book is amazing. Read it for Sea Literature, it absolutely blew me awau. YES YES YES!! I loved that book when I read it back in eighth grade, and I've been upset how I haven't seen it anywhere since. And it could be made into a good movie from what I remember. I don't know Warriors, but to add to the Zac Efron conversation: according to some reviewers I follow, he's not that bad of an actor and as one person put it, seems to be going through the same phase that Brad Pitt did when he was in stuff like Cool World. The thing that really throws me off is Rihanna. I don't know much about her outside of what I've heard on the radio, but her name doesn't seem to fit. I'd like to see a proper adaption of The Tale of Despereaux. I found the book after having seen the movie, and I don't know how they did it, but they took this lovely and charming story with characters that were united by wanting something, and... Wow, was the movie ever dull. A lot of the events are the same, but their flat now. I think this was the movie that finally got me to be more lenient about book to movie adaptions. It's like what teacher's tell you before tests: I don't care to know that someone knows how to recount something word-for-word, I want to know that they understood what the point was behind the scenes. The Hunger Games would be cool to see if there were good writers and/or directors behind it, so that the action scenes would be awesome, but the dramatic stuff would also be as powerful as they should be. A Great and Terrible Beauty would also be interesting to see, but I'm happy for the series to stay as a book. I remember hearing rumours of a movie for it, but I've never checked to see if there was any truth to it.

I just don't think Zac Effron is epic enough for one of my favourite characters from the series.

Yesterday, I picked up a book called The Pirates! in an Adventure with Whaling (cuz it was on clearance, and its pirates and whaling! Perfect!). THIS BOOK WAS SO EPIC. Its very Monty Python-esque, and in my book that's awesome. And I think it could translate to screen fairly well. I'd love to see it translated (even if it is only a part of a series).

The Bartimaeus trilogy would be fun indeed. But I'm worried a movie just wouldn't fit with this annotation style which gives Bartimaeus his so funny way to tell. ;D Pern could be so great... But there's just too many books. It would take half the lifetime of any producer crazy enough to give it a try. ^^ And we should then pray it won't turn into crap after the third or fourth one... One I have dreamt to see on screen though is the Death Gate Cycle. Don't know why it left such a deep impression on me but anyhow here it is. With its hopeless movie hope.

The Graveyard Book: Hands down I want this done! With the great Neil Gaiman's work and with Henry Selik (he did well with Coraline) this could be great. Though I'm not quite sure weather a live-action, animated, or stop motion. I would love if they did stop motion mostly because Coraline's look that Selik gave.
