Assuming the scale is correct and Unity is measuring in meters, that would be a wingspan of 60 meters, like a Boeing 777. ;D

Hm... in episode 8, it says that a Night Fury's wingspan is 48 feet, but the measure tool for Toothless model says 12.5753m, which are about 41 feet. Well, it's roughly the same scale at least. ;D

Maybe they didn't actually measure the model and just guessed the wingspan, who knows?

That's a good start for a pure FK rig. I also finally got my hands on the first HTTYD game from Étranges Libellules. So far, I've been able to extract the textures only and it turns out they're unfortunately pretty useless to improve or replace the Wild Skies textures. Their layout and UV mapping is totally different and the diffuse map is also partially uncolored to allow customizations (whoever came up with that idea should be drowned in yak nog : . Still, some textures have a higher resolution of 1024x1024. Here's a comparison of the Gronckle, Wild Skies vs. console: Bummer... guess I'll have to wait for another non-browser/mobile game to appear that I can dissect. Hopefully the next developers won't confuse "How To Train Your Dragon" with "How To Pimp My Dragon". Oh, and the downloads aren't working right now. The server had a, you know, hiccup . I hope it will be fixed soon. Edit: fixed

Thanks, I guess Well that totally sucks. They toally should drown and yaknog Especially since Snoggletog's coming up. That would be fun to watch XD Man, if those textures work on the wild skies models, that would be so awesome XD Do you mind posting Toothless' textures? Just curious to see how they look Another 3D game Migjt end up being the official video game for the sequel. If they make one based on it as well Is it possible to extract the models too? Or are they in an entirely different format and such?

Man, if those textures work on the wild skies models, that would be so awesome XD Do you mind posting Toothless' textures? Just curious to see how they look Again, first Wild Skies, then the console version. The right texture is somewhat more detailed even with the same resolution, since it's just for the body and not for the wings and harness. The normal map below also is much more detailed. On the other hand: completely different layouts and a weird monotonous gray color shading. Another 3D game Migjt end up being the official video game for the sequel. If they make one based on it as well Is it possible to extract the models too? Or are they in an entirely different format and such? You can extract models, textures and any other resources from every game. It might be more or less difficult, but it's always possible.

Wow...That looks pretty awesome. Would look very great if it worked on the Wild skies model Thanks for posting it! And that's interesting...I wonder how much detail the model in the game has compared to the Wild Skies one...
