(This is an open roleplay, starting out as a regular old camping trip on an island not too far away from Berk, but taking a turn when an unexpected storm hits, leaving Hiccup without his fake foot, Toothless without his artificial tail-fin, and plenty of other things that make all the riders and their dragons stranded on an island with no way back, as well as just making things complicated for them. OCs welcome, but if possible, characters from the movie would be great)
Hiccup enjoyed the feel of the wind blowing past his face, the steep fall
creating a free fall. If he wasn't attached to toothless at the moment, he would have fallen off.
Hiccup, and his dragon, Toothless, were currently flying around just north of Berk. They did it every morning, and it was exhilarating for both dragon and Viking. They would preform swoops and dives, gentle glides and barrel rolls, until they got tired. Then the two would angle south to head back to the village.
The churning sea below was getting very close now. Hiccup quickly switched gears, the red, artificial tail-fin on toothless snapping outwards and catching the wind. They soared upwards on a cold draft of air, slowing and evening out, gliding lazily like a gigantic scaled crow.
The two, after flying around in spirals for a bit, decided to head back. No, toothless wasn't tired already. Hiccup wasn't minding the cold. It was something entirely different.
Camping.
Him, and some other riders were going out to an island not too far to the northwest of berk. Sure, you couldn't see it from berk, but after about twenty minutes of flying that direction you would be able to see a thin outline on the horizon. It was nothing the size of berk, but was still big enough that when you flew directly overhead, you could tell the dragons nest could have fit on it.
Hiccup wasn't exactly sure who he was going with though. He had heard many of the riders weren't going for various reasons. He just hoped that not everyone had decided to skip out. Because no matter who else was going, him were Toothless were camping. They had been looking forward to this for about a week.
The two landed near the dragon training academy (where they were going to meet up with whoever was going), toothless wriggling slightly in excitement. Hopping off his dragon, hiccup walked with the night fury, into the arena. He was plesantly suprised at the number of vikings and dragons gathered, thinking that absolutely nothing could go wrong. The sky was clear, perfect for flying, nobody here looked like they would do something as stupid as feed someone else to their dragon, and it seemed like it was going to be a very interesting week.
If only Hiccup remembered nothing ever went right for him and Toothless.
