But there seems unfair to say that Hic has trained Toothless?

... do you mean... that it seems unfair that Hiccup trained Toothless? Or that it is unfair people are saying that?
I personally don't think he trained him at all, despite the title of the movie. He earned his trust, and they worked together to become the duo they are now, and that is quite the feat since Toothless could have easily resented him for him being the cause of his tail fin being ripped off.
But I think part of the reason he decided to trust him was because he let him go, when no other viking would have, and he tried to get close to him without causing him any harm (not to mention feeding him and giving him the ability to fly again).
Yes, Hiccup had to train Toothless to work with the new fin, but he had to train himself to work with Toothless as well (heck, I think Toothless trained Hiccup in some ways more than he trained Toothless XD. Even though he "trained his dragon" it was more or less the two of them working together.
... but that's just my take on the matter...

Double agree! But as for the title, remember that it's based off of the book, just with a different storyline, which is why it doesn't make 100% sense. But yeah, agree with Bane on everything else  |

Perhaps you did not understand, I say it is wrong to say that Hic has trained Toothless, because it is Toothless who has made friends with Hic.

Or maybe just "trained" isn't a correct word to use. They both showed and taught each other various thing. Just like Bane said, Hiccup teached Toothless how to fly with the new tail. And pretty much Toothless showed stuff dragons can do (the things Hiccup learned from him that helped him improve in the arena).
