Okay, I finished HTCADC, and I'm hard pressed to pick a favourite now. In this episode, Fishlegs comes down with Vorpentitis! Hiccup must travel to the mad Hysteric village to steal the Vegetable-That-Must-Not-Be-Named, the Potato! This vegetable, which many believe to be a fairy-tale, is the only cure for the deadly poison of the Venemous Vorpent! ALong with the help of Camicaze (<3) and a Saber-Toothed Dragon Driver named One-Eye, (and Toothless, of course, if he's considered help) Hiccup must brave vicious Vikings, deranged Dragons, and luke-warm Onion Soup. He ends up losing the potato and finding out that Fishlegs doesn't, in fact, have Vorpentitis. Hiccup's the one who was bitten by the Venemous Vorpent! Only loyal Fishlegs is able to save Hiccup by shooting him with an arrow that had been submerged in Potato juice for a couple hundred years. Aaaand..... that's pretty much it.

(Spoilers here too, a lot at the end!)
I just finished that one too, and the more I read these books, the more I have the feeling they picked something in every book for the movie. It could be hard to make a decent sequel picking pieces in each book like this for the first opus.
Of course, everyone who has read these must have made a link of some kind between Astrid and Camicazi, I'm not even getting into this. But (even though my memory isn't a reliable tool...) I think I also read the reference used twice in the movie on "occupational hazard" used insistingly in the second or third book. ... I also had another one while thinking of writing this post but (now sounds way less credible, damn crappy memory, curse me...) it slipped away and keeps taunting me from a couple thoughts away... I'll edit if I finally catch it again. *Sorry and angrily frustrated*
Anyways now, in that last one, I happened to think (craziness coming...) that there is a lot of the Doomfang in Movie-Toothless, and that it may not be a coincidence. I mean, besides Toothless having grown up enough to be rideable, this Doomfang also has black skin, amazingly huge green eyes, breathes blue fire (which are kind of Toothless's signature in the movie), and he even ends up being some sort of life-long guardian angel to Hiccup after he saved his life (from vorpentitis or a missing fin, it's still a life saving thing).
Anyone thinking I'm totally twisted, or am I not alone with this Doomfang-Toothless thing?
