...as a pet or a friend, what would it be?

I know a ton of people are going to be going "NIGHT FURY!" but me...I'd personally go with a Terrible Terror. Why? They're smaller, they seem like they'd be a bit easier to discipline (can you imagine trying to tell a Monstrous Nightmare that we do NOT do X?), and are so darn cute! One may not be able to ride one, but they can be picked up and carried around!

Yup, I'm going with a Night Fury

All of the dragons remind me of cats somehow, but out of all of them I'd want my own Toothless. I would love being able to fly around on the fastest dragon there is, not to mention one of the most intelligent.

Second I'd want a Terror. They are so darn cute! After that, I'd like a Nadder

I agree with the Night Fury.

Being able to ride a dragon, the fastest kind or not, would just be absolutely amazing. Having Night Furies be the fastest dragon alive is just icing on the cake, lol. But yes, I'd definitiely want my very own Toothless.

And after a Night Fury would definitilely be a Terrible Terror cuz they're so darn cute, and cuddling up with one of them sounds like it'd be adorably awesome. And also... their little mini blasts of fire could come in handy for making s'mores or something... XD

I'd say a Terror or a Nadder. I like the idea of being able to pick up a dragon or have one curl up with you without it threatening to crush you on a cold night. And Nadders remind me of chickens, that's the only real reason I like them. XD

I'd go with a Monstruous Nightmare I think.

I wasn't very fond of the Night Fury's design at first, but they gave Toothless such a loveable character it's hard now not to go with his kind.

Night Fury or a Terrible Terror. Both would really awesome. I could fly with the Night fury and have the Terror in the house

I can't make a decision between a Night Fury and a Terrible Terror: one is completely cute (Terrible Terror); one is cool and a little bit cute (Night Fury)...

Night fury. Yes. I know. I'm uncreative.

Mind, not because it's cute or cool or because it can fly (though those reasons wouldn't detract from the choice..) but because I remember reading somewhere it's the smartest of them all.

Exact same reasoning I use for getting a dog. It's just... Much more connecting when whatever it may be seems to understand what you're saying half the time, and even what you're thinking an uncanny amount of the time.

I'd go with either a Night Fury, Terrible Terror, or a Gronkle. Furies and Terrors are cute and the Gronkle is so sillly looking.

Deadly Nadders seem really awesome. They actually seem faster than Night Furies on the ground... not to mention that spike tail thing. That's just awesome.

My second choice would be a Terrible Terror; third choice would be a Night Fury.

Night Fury, definitely! They're smart, there cute, they're fast, and they're fun to play with.
