Finally saying hello

Hi there!

I've found this forum a couple of months ago; I don't remember how exactly I ended up here (probably looking for HTTYD related stuff on dA), and didn't really plan to stay...
But it turned out I somehow became addicted to the place and still keep coming to check on new amazing fanworks, interesting theoretical discussions, and all that makes this place so great.

So as I'm feeling a bit uncomfortable with being a creepy spy, time has come to show up. \o/

It's my first time joining a movie-related forum, but actually HTTYD is involved in a lot of first times for me - first time feeling that so-special way about a movie, first time crying after seeing a movie, first time going to the theater to see the same movie not once but four times, first time seeing a movie in 3D, first time searching like crazy on the web for artworks (and anything that can relieve my addiction...) after seeing a movie, first time ordering the books which have inspired a movie from overseas just to have the original feeling of it, first time joining an English-speaking forum and first time driving through half France's height (I know, that one sounds weird, but I swear it was because of HTTYD :< ).

Oh, now you know about my shameful secret, I'm French. I hope you'll excuse (and feel free to point out) spelling mistakes or lack of vocabulary involved by this misfortune of mine.

Besides this and my obvious love of HTTYD, I can tell you I'm 22, I ended my programming studies a year ago and am still looking for a job (may have found one in Ireland though, let's hope!), I like anime, fantasy books, computer games, and most of all: dragons. <3

I'm not a very active forum member, I used to be but it ended up taking all my spare time, so I guess I'll try to remain "this place's foreign ghost". ^^

And now that I see I'm doing it again, writing never-ending boring puzzling posts, I guess it's time to let you answer. ^^"

Well hi there! Despite the fact that you think you'll do terribly with spelling and grammar errors... in that entire post I didn't see a single mistake, lol. Unless I'm just too tired to actually notice anything.

But welcome aboard this crazy little forum! HTYYD is loaded with firsts for me as well, but I won't get into all of them cuz my post would be way too long, lol.

My name is TaylorRose, though you may call me Taylor, Tay, TR, or any other ridiculous nickname you come up with for me. If you ever need any help with anything you can always ask me or any of the others mods and we'd be gald to help ya out.

Well good thing I did read myself enough to make a good first impression then.
I try my best avoiding mistakes, the worst part is not having the right nuance coming to my mind as naturally as in French when looking for a word.

Hey, my first language is English and I have trouble with spelling and grammar myself! You actually have better language then most native speakers.

I'm no native either speaker (Dutch for the win , and I've never seen anyone bitch on my bad spelling or grammar. Even back when it actually was really, really bad. And not just here, but basically anywhere; I've been on dozens of English-speaking forums. So yeah, I wouldn't worry if I were you. Besides, your English seems more than fine to me.
