I am, as my deviantART profile says, a 'new artist'. I've only started drawing a few months ago, and I really like it.

This is a sample of the HTTYD meme I'm working on, I'm sure quite some of you will recognise the original.

I paid little to no attention to the wings though, looking back I really feel stupid about that. Oh well...




As you can see I have more of a cartoony style, the characters don't really look like they do in the movie. Oh well, I could say this was intentional... actually, it was, but I still envy people who can draw it so accurately.

WAIT. You only JUST started drawing a few months ago? Holy crackers, I could have sworn you've been drawing for at LEAST three years. You already seem to have this really developed style, and it took me over four years to achieve that. Man, you've got some gift, right there!!

I'm kind of like that, too - I try to draw the characters as accurately as I possibly can, but they all still end up in my style, anyway. :/ Which, I guess really isn't a bad thing, cuz I've gotten a lot of compliments for it.

Keep it up!! Now I can't wait to see the whole meme. 8DDD

I like the way you drew them! And I LOVE how the picture from the actual scene from the movie is kind of faded into the sky behind them, as if it's like some sort of shadow or something. That's really neat!
