This video game fits right in with dragon media.
So.... who else is obsessed of the lil', fire-blowing purple dragon who runs around with a firefly and beats the bloody pulp out of his enemies?
I love all of the games on the PlayStation. As for other game systems, I can't say the same(*cough*especiallytheonesonthePS2*cough*). They just seem, to me, to be really lacking and repetitive.

I like the games, seeing as when I was littler I had one for my PS1. It was fun to play, but I did not have a memory card so I hated haveing to play the things over agian. Yet, I still found it entertaining. I do have another currently.. Have not played it for a while so i can't rmember which game system it's for... Pretty sure it's for PS2, though. It kinds bored me. But, I still love Spyro. C:

I used to play this at my friend's house all the time. Borrowed it a few times, but I never thought to actually buy it... >_>;

I never got that into them, but my brother is OBSESSED XD.
He literally has every game they made. I've played a few myself but for some reason I love one of the PS2 games. I forget the name... I think it's the first when Spyro and Sparx talk? I love their voices. WoodSpyro FTW!

I have one of the Spyro games... I forgot what it's called T___T but you play... hmmm, you get to be Spyro, Sparx, Sgt. Bird, and two other guys... I think it's Blink the Mole and... a cheetah..
Welcome fails. Anyhoo. It's not the one with Elijah Wood as Spyro, I'll tell you that much. I haven't played it for ages... probably cause it decided to have an anyeurism (bad spelling, I know) and force me to delete my progress. I mean, I gotten really far for a game that can't be beaten in 5 minutes! *gives up easily... except for Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2*

I LOVED the original Spyro games. I still have all of them and play them from time to time when the mood takes me.
Personally I prefer the original games to the new Legend of Spyro trilogy. They are still good though, I did enjoy playing them.

Spyro fan too, but of the original trilogy. I tried playing TLOS trilogy..but..er...it doesn't have the same charm and silliness of the first 3. Also, not to fond of the other games, they felt to uncreative and repetitive (like someone mentioned). And plotholes rise up like how Ripto and his cronies are alive and doing what they doing.

Spyro is and will most likely always be one of my favourite video game series of all time. :3 I still recall playing the very first game, Spyro the Dragon, on my PSX roughly ten years ago.
When it comes down to The Legend of Spyro versus the Spyro the Dragon (classic) series, it's hard for me to pick. Both have their pros and cons. In the end, though, I'd say that Spyro the Dragon seems to have a slight advantage. It had a certain spark the subsequent series couldn't quite ignite the same way.

I have very fond, childhood memories of playing Spyro. I remember the first game was the first game I ever got for the Playstation and it was funny because my dad thought it was going to be an easy, baby game when we started playing it but it got harder as you went through it. I also got the other two Playstation games and the first two for the Playstation 2. I got the third one in that series for the DS.

I did not start with the original Spyro series. Instead I started with The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning. Dragons are one of my favourite mythical animals, with the others being griffins and unicorns. Being a dragon lover, I bought the game. Then I was pleased to discover the first voice actor was Elijah Wood. I looked up on the internet and learnt he voiced Spyro. I bought this game in 2008, before the Beijing Olympic Games. My mom flew to Beijing and I finished the game within the nine days she was away. I grew closer to two of my friends during that time.
Anyway, I loved A New Beginning and for some time, I couldn't find The Eternal Night in several game shops. So I bought Dawn of the Dragon, shortly after its release day. Unfortunately I could not finish DOTD on my Playstation 2, since mine was the slim one. So I had to buy it for Playstation 3.
I went to a mall near my office and there I discovered The Eternal night. Finally I was able to finish the trilogy. Spyro and Cynder are great.

I am a major fan of the original Spyro. I don't care for the newer versions all that much.
