Well, seeing as how I don't have a PS3, my Wii is mia, and I can't get to our 360 thanks to my brother, I picked up the DS version of the game.
AND IT IS FUN AS HECK. It's set after the movie and seems to have a different storyline from the other games. I would say this is like... Spore meets Pokemon! It has voices during some scenes and is decently hard. I recommend it to anyone with a DS.
There is a dragon type in the game I've run into that reminds me of a Chinese Long dragon, but I can't find it anymore and I can't remember the name! ARGH!

OOOOOOOH, I WANT IT NAO.
They have voiced cutscenes? That's awesome! I must get it after I get more money! (I need new shoes, plus I'm saving up for a laptop ^^.)

Not all cut scenes are voiced, but all the major ones are. Oddly, nothing with Gobber seems to be voiced yet... I wonder why.
I can't tell if they're the same VAs from the movie, but it sounds like they are. Hiccup certainly sounds the same!

I'd like to check it out, but all of my favorite game stores are closed by the time I get off work. XC Alas, I shall have to wait until Thursday.
It's been a while since I've had a good game...

I wish you luck CJ! It was worth the money for me.
Basically you get to customize your dragon in multiple ways, much like Spore. People have said it handles it in a similar manner. You can chose the wings, tail, color, teeth, all that good stuff. Ever want a green Night Fury? By all means! Granted the customization for the DS version is lacking compared to the consoles, but that is to be expected.
You can fight other dragons, both in matches in tournaments, against friends via connection, and in the wild. You have move sets to use and there are effects that you can inflict. It is very strategy focused. I say Pokemon because I;m more used to it than any other game like that. Although you get to KEEP all the moves you learn in this game, THANK CREATOR.

Oh man. That sounds AWESOME. I'll try looking into the game in a bit, maybe when they're cheap. I'm working on my Heart Gold game, so I'll definitely try picking it up.

Awesomeness! I just ordered it for real cheap off of Amazon (ten bucks cheaper than in stores, and came with the original HTTYD book free), so I'm glad to know its a good game. It looks pretty awesome. ^^

I bought it yesterday... it was 50 dollars, but worth it! I'm up to fighting these two girls just to get a shield for Hiccup. I did finally beat one of them, but then I lost to the other one!!! So I have to do it all again! D:
I love this game, though. Huh. I think Hiccup and Astrid are still Jay Baruchel and America Ferrera.. but the other VAs are different. They've gotten pretty close, though.

Whoa, wait wut?! Mine was 30! Where did you buy yours?
Yeah, I had a bit of trouble with that part last night. Not used to the Nadder yet... I want a Grapple Grounder, dang it! They are SO cool!
Yeah, Stoick sounded a bit different, but the others sounded the same to me. Maybe they are different, I don't know.

We used to have EB Games, but it combined with GameStop in the States. Or it may have just been the East Coast.
I wish you luck! This game is HARD. Fun, but hard.

Hmm, Spores meets Pokemon? Interesting, so its not like the other movies that have been turned into games and are complete atomic bombs?
I'll definitely buy it when I get the money(Pokemon HeartGold made me poor T_T) or when the price goes down. Whichever comes first.

No, it isn't like some movie games that are horrible. It's a lot of fun in my opinion.
I hope you get the chance to buy it!
EDIT: Gronckles... I HATE TRAINING THEM. That is all.
