Httyd is back in the number one spot for like, the third time... I think It beat A Nightmare on Elm Street...
The commercial said 'Once again millions of dreamworks fans have put HTTYD back in the number one spot!'

The commercial said 'Once again millions of dreamworks fans have put HTTYD back in the number one spot!' I literally jumped out of my chair and danced around my room when I heard that on TV last night. You know I'm psyched over something when I start dancing over it, I don't like to dance.

The commercial said 'Once again millions of dreamworks fans have put HTTYD back in the number one spot!' well, that's good news to me, ESPECIALLY if it beat the Nightmare on Elm Street remake.... I mean, Michel bay directed it.... and these days, if Michel Bay is involved... then you KNOW it's going to be bad...

Okay, checked the number one spot 1. Iron man2 2.A Nightmare on Elm Street [as far as I know this WAS in the number 2 spot under HTTYD] 3.HTTYD I should also tell you that the info I was checking changed every weekend. And HTTYD WAS in the number 2 spot under ANoES last week. But I should say, HTTYD will mostlikely NOT be beating Iron Man V movies.yahoo.com/mv/boxoffice/

Wow! Seems that How to Train Your Dragon keeps fighting a lot to stay at the box office list to number one doesn't it? But so does Kick-Ass. I've been noticing that.

Nope, Kick Ass is actually pretty low budget. I can explain this for those who are curious about why Kick-Ass had such a low budget. You see, when Matthew Vaughn approached numerous companies to fund him in making a film adaptation of Kick-Ass, he was turned down. Over and over again. The companies wouldn't have any part of it unless it was toned down and the was one thing Matthew Vaughn knew he did want to do. So, to keep it true to the way he believed a Kick-Ass movie should be, he raised the entire budget himself. Thus, it's pretty low budget. This story is as far as I know and I'm fairly sure it is factual. As for those complaining about Chloe Moretz's, ahem, colourful vocabulary as Hit-Girl, it's not like she's going to take these words into her everyday life. She's even said that she's heard them all before from her brothers and she also won't call the movie by its name because it has "ass" in the title, resolving to call it either "the film" or Kick-Butt. well, that's good news to me, ESPECIALLY if it beat the Nightmare on Elm Street remake.... I mean, Michel bay directed it.... and these days, if Michel Bay is involved... then you KNOW it's going to be bad... Produced by Michael Bay, actually. He owns the company that made the remake, Platinum Dunes. To be honest though, the remake probably wouldn't have been much worse if Michael Bay had directed it. Samuel Bayer was a bad choice for a director for a remake of such a beloved horror franchise. I mean, he's never directed a movie before and he hates the original A Nightmare on Elm Street. Recipe for disaster? Oh, you'd better believe it. And a disaster it was... But this is a How to Train Your Dragon forum, so I'd better connect this post to that movie instead of the remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street. So, because I'm not sure, does anyone know where How to Train Your Dragon stood at the box office in comparison with these movies it did battle with while it was on its way out?
