Favorite human characters?

So... who WAS your favorite? Who else did you like?

My favorites were Hiccup, Stoick, and Gobber...

I don't know WHY I liked Gobber so much, I just did. He was just... funny!

Hiccup was just so... cute! And he was hilarious too, I loved nearly every one of his quips. "You just pointed to all of me" and "Thank's for nothing you useless reptile" being the top two. I don't know, I just really liked him as a character. I also loved how he put Toothless above a lot of stuff, that was sweet.

Stoick. Voiced by Gerard Butler. I could end it there. XD But I did like how he finally started to listen to Hiccup. He tries to be close to him but the poor just does NOT get him. I found that a rather endearing trait.

I adore Ruffnut and Tuffnut. XD Those two were all kinds of hilarious. Oh, the shenanigans. They remind me of Sideswipe and Sunstreaker, from Transformers. Only slightly more crass.

Ruff and Tuff are just fun to watch. They're high up there on my faves list, but my top three beat them just enough. I love how Tuff seems to be full of himself! XD

Hmmmm... I liked Hiccup mostly. I'm not really sure who else I liked in particular, though Gobber was pretty funny. What did he say? "I think there'll be an explosion in me undies, glad I packed an extra pair!" LOL.

The relationship between Gobber and Stoick was pretty... hmmm, let's just say I liked it very much. When they're not about being Viking leader and Blacksmith, they are just a pair of second generation men (there was an elder, suggesting that there are about 3 generations in the tribe - Elders, Stoick, Gobber, etc; and the Dragon Training group), with years of history behind them.

I'm not sure whether or not I liked Astrid, though. I think it might be the predictability of her bad-assedness.. what with what's-her-face from Avatar and 7 from 9. But at least 7 showed her softer side. Astrid was just... I dunno, she always seemed angry.

Well, with Astrid there was the fact that Hiccup, who was known as a screw up, was doing better than her.

Given the time frame of the movie, and the fact that she is a girl, Viking or not she would have to work twice as hard to achieve what she wanted. And for Hiccup to do it easily and quickly must have REALLY pissed her off. She did get progressively more angry, though she did start out awfully angry.

I think Astrid had a right to be thoroughly ticked off, really. XD After all, here she was, obviously one of the tougher teens... and the little wimp who can barely lift an axe starts one-upping her again and again and again and again.

I probably would've wanted to drop-kick him into next week at that rate. Would've been pretty simple. Lift. Drop. PUNT. XD

I will give. I do like Astrid. I don't think she really was a very angry person, and I don't think she even really hated Hiccup. She just hated that he was magically better than her and she couldn't figure out why.

I think ANYONE would be pissed if that happened to them! XD

Astrid is one of my top 10 female characters in a movie, right up there with 7 from 9 and Belle from Beauty and the Beast. I don't know why but I just love her! I think it's her attitude. She's a bit emotional, true, but given the fact they're "teens"... that is to be expected!

haven't seen the movie yet, but I can guarantee I will like Hiccup and Astrid... maybe Snoutlout and the twins.

Hiccup was my favorite. Awesome character, right there.

And because I went to the movie for the dragons, I didn't really care about the other humans that much. ^^;

Hiccup and Gobber were definately my favourites. I just love their humour and their behaviour. I especially laughed at how they looked at each other after "You just pointed to all of me":

Winning first place is Hiccup! I really loved his character; his witty comments, desire to prove his worth to his father, and dedication to Tootless made me love him. I also think he's cute...

Second would have to be Stoick. I loved Gerard as his voice! What really made me like him though was his relationship with Hiccup.

Third and fourth are Ruff and Tuff; they were just hilarious!
