((Welp, my first try at starting an RP, so I doubt it will be perfect xD Got approval from Bane though, and also feel free to come in as official characters, I'd more than welcome it! OCs too! ^^ BTW, this is set at about the time of the beginning of the movie, so hope you guys don't mind ^^;; and no harsh criticism please, as it is my first! ^^;;;; ))
Vikings and dragons had always fought each other. It seemed to be the only natural thing. The battles had been going on and off for no one knew how long, and still contiuned to this day. One such battle was occuring at this very moment, as both sides fought for victory..
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mordar was watching the carnage unfold on a cliff, glaring and wondering. He was ready to attack should he need to, but at this point, this was not necessary. Now and then there would be yet another explosion or fire, and these continued throughout the night. He doubted that the humans realized the reason behind these attacks, and whether or not this could ever end. He looked around and awaited to see what would next happen...

The albino Night Fury who would one day be called Pirateperch flew above her father, using him as a shield so that the Vikings would not see her gleaming scales among the pitch-black sky and shoot at her.
Pirateperch, her father, and the two other young Night Furies were here to guard their fellow dragons. If the Vikings grew to aggressive, one would dive down and cause a distraction of any sort (usually by destroying a building or weaponry). They were too fast to ever be caught.
Or so Pirateperch thought.
Her excellent eyesight spotted a scrawny Viking boy as he pushed a cart to the edge of the cliff, where one of the other Night Furies was preparing to execute another attack.
One heartbeat.
Two.
Three.
There was a bang, a shot as the boy fired his cart. There was a roar of pain from the Night Fury as he tumbled from the sky. A roar of fear from Pirateperch as she realized the unthinkable had occured: a Night Fury had been brought down alive.
She swooped away from her father, dive-bombing some Vikings in her anger; if they were to bring one of her kind down, she would return the favor. She smirked as one Viking exploded from her fireball, a lovely mass of gore dotting her white scales.
She flew back up to her father, grinning madly...a false smile.
Although she killed, she hated war.

Oddlet sat in his room, listening to the screams, and explosions that came from outside his house. The big booms made his house shake, and rattle as the fight raged outside. He didnt want to help. He couldnt help anyway, besides, he would just end up getting himself killed. He sighed as he continued to sit on his bed, fully dressed with his sword and shield in his hands. Oddlet had wanted to go out and fight, but he quickly changed his mind. The thoughts of failing to kill his first dragon back when he was in that train program made him too depressed to do anything. He was still suffering from injuries he had gotten from the battle. He slowly lifted his head and looked out the window. Fires blazed outside as dragons blasted Bert with fire, and as vikings tried to stop them. Oddlet sighed again and glanced back down to the ground.

Mordar himself also saw the scene. He decided now would be the time to try.. He flew straight up into the air, and executed the signature move of a Night Fury, a simple, sweeping dive, followed by a blast of fire that exploded on contact. He decided that the weaponry in the area posed a threat, and so attempted the destruction of that weaponry. He had no way of knowing whether it succeeded, as he traveled too fast to see the results, and wondered how the scene would appear to someone on the ground... or in the air.
He then circled around and landed on a large rock, awaiting for the next chance to strike, and wondering whether any of the other dragons had noticed his presence.

Unfortunatly, not only had one Night Fury been taken down, bur TWO. The second one being GreenStar. The net got his tail, and he was pulled down, screeching in surprise. What just happened? He hit the ground, and was jolted from the net, his tail spiking with pain, the other Night Fury groaning in agony. GreenStar thought for a moment. [Wait a minute.... I know this dragon!] He proceeded to poke the dragon, ignoring the sharp stabs of pain coming from his tail. Hey! Are you okay?!? C'mon, answer me! he rumbled. He poked him harder, only to recive a groan in reply.

Tonight was simply not a good night for the species of the Night Fury as a whole.
She could see it happening as in slow motion. She and her father had banked away, towards the cliffs. The arrow, haphazardly shot into the air by a youth, buried itself into her father's side. He screamed, and staggered in mid-air. Tey landed in a cave, he fell down.
"Daddy?" Pirateperch moaned, nuzzling his inert form. Blood streamed from the wound in his side. He was still. Not breathing.
No.
He was just unconscious, that was all.
But he wasn't just unconscious, and she knew it.
One of the whispered fears among the Vikings that arose that night was of the Shadowed Screamer. This dragon, it was said, had no body; only a scream, a scream of sheer agony, that hailed the end of their lives.
There was, of course, no such thing as a Shadowed Screamer. It was merely the cry of an anguished Night Fury whose father had been slain that night.

What was this? A battle? A Good Battle Atleast it was for her Humans Distracted. Now was the time to make her move Prey Waiting Waiting to be snatched.
Waer silently manuevered through this crowd, this crowd of dragons and vikings. Her interest sparked at he who had brought down that Night Fury. How? The fastest, rarest, most intelligent of them all, brought down by a mere morsel? Waer seemed to laugh as she escaped sight of human eyes.
Landing within the tall, green blades of grass, the runtish Nadder observed her surrondings. It was silent ahead, the noise seemingly coming from the war behind her. It was all behind her. With stealth, Waer padded her way with caution torwards the small, yet large-to-her coop, holding the bands of feathery, plump poultry, the food she craved the most.
Seconds past, Waer crept silently into the wooden shed, claws silently touching on the panelled house. Her jaws slowly opened, toungue moving across her yellow fangs hungrily as she approached the body of a soundly sleeping hen...how unfortenate for the little round bird.
Suddenly, there was a snap of the twigs outside, and the eyes of several chicken flicked open, followed by the loud, surprised clucking and scattering of the livestock. Feathers flew. Waer growled with her dismay, before finally grabbing hold of a brown hen, which wriggled and kicked with fright as it would soon meet it's fate.
Scrambling out of the coop with several of the fowls scattering outside, Waer made a break for it, dashing through the grass as there was no time to lose. The Nadder had to get away quickly, soon she would have to return to find a meal well suited for the one she feared more than the Vikings..

Mordar executed another swooping dive, followed by the familiar screech and explosion.
It was then that he spotted this unfamiliar Fury. Even stranger, it was WHITE!
He had not seen this particular one before, and, looking as if she needed protection, his next attack was one meant to cover her to let her escape.
If black scales could blend in, white ones obviously couldn't, and this was why he defended her.

GreenStar finally gave up trying to save his friend. He ran off, away from the fight. After a while, he tried to fly... But he failed to. [Wha- what?!? I can't fly now?!? AW, COME ON! That's not fair!] Again and again he tried to fly, but to no avail.

As the battle raged on around her, young Torunn Sloughwit just stood there as away from the village as she could get. She couldn't be around that disaster anymore. This particular girl hated fighting. She wanted nothing to do with it. The stench that always seemed to rise as more and more dragons and humans killed each other was completely sickening.
Why couldn't this just end?
Torunn just watched the sky. Why did she watch it? No particular reason...the cool black sky and its twinkling stars seemed to calm her. That is, until she saw something white streak through the sky. The girl blinked.
What ever it was, it landed in a cave. Torunn hadn't seen the other other black shape that the white one descended with, it blend to well, but she had seen the pale white shape.
Looking over her shoulder at the carnage behind her, Torunn began moving towards the cave, her curiosity getting the better of her.

Having (hopefully) succeded in his attempt, Mordar landed on another high rock, and watched the battle from this vantage point. He wondered what became of the white Fury, and whether they would ever meet again.
Not sure how much was left of the battle, he decided to attack a house, and see what that would do.
Once again, he shot straight into the air, swooped down, and fired a blast towards the first house that he saw, swooped across, and landed. He wondered what happened to the occupants (if any) were in the house, but he was sure the distraction would aid the other dragons.

GreenStar soon gave up in his futile attempts to fly. He wandered a bit, soon seeing a small cave. What was in there? He slowly and carefully ambled over to it, peering inside.

As Torunn grew closer to the cave she thought she saw movement near the entrance. A light gasp escaped her lips when she saw a dark figure.
It was a dragon.
Immediately, the girl hid. Pushing herself against a bush, hoping the creature hadn't seen her. Her hands came up to her chest. Her heart was racing rapidly. Though Torunn never liked the fighting, and wouldn't think to hurt a living creature herself, she knew that dragons would attack her if they saw her. So there she sat, pressed up against the bush.

Wondering whose house it was he had attacked, Mordar had no way of knowing. He did not even know whether he had hit it at all. The Vikings on the ground were the ones who should be worried though, not him.
He wondered whether or not his distraction worked..

GreenStar DID see the girl... But he made no move to attack her. In all honesty, humans were nicer to him than most dragons were... And that was saying something! He crawled over to the bush and nudged the girl with his nose, with a face on like this: :<
