-x- Description -x-
Waer is an infamous and hot tempered dragon, but frankly is a runt compared to the average Nadder. Given her name, "Waer The Spiteful" by Vikings, she is well known for her stealth and an cunning behavior. Waer is often only seen around Berk during the night, but is sometimes seen in the skies during early morning or the late afternoon, either departing or preparing for her midnight hunts.
-x- Demeanor -x-
Hot tempered and aggressive, especially when approached threateningly, Waer often will observe before taking action. She tries to find weak points of her enemies, and has been known to be hard to tame because of her little trust in humans. With this, she does not like to stir up much ruckus, thus why she is a nocturnal hunter.
-x- Abilities -x-
With the basic known attacks and abilities of a Deadly Nadder, Waer also has her own personal specialties. Her small size allows her to hunt in areas where the average sized Nadder could not fit, and it also gives her a large variety of hiding spots. Thanks to her more light body set, she also is given a faster speed, although she could never match with that of a Night Fury's.
-x- Disadvantages -x-
In addition to the natural blind spot of her species, there is a downside to Waer's size. Because she is smaller and lighter, she is also easier to bring down when cornered, and can be caught with ease if a Viking were to successfully trap her in a fight.
-x- History -x-
This small, yet stealthy, cunning Nadder was given the name "Waer the Spiteful" because of her well noted skill in being able to snatch prey quickly without notice. Before her fame grew, Waer could hunt with ease, usually being able to steal a few morsels while her enemies were battling other dragons around Berk. When returning from long and exhausting battle, several Viking found their hens stolen from their coops.
The Vikings could immediately tell that the culprit was obviously a Deadly Nadder, since they are strictly fowl-eating dragons, unlike the other species. What left them puzzled is how a Deadly Nadder could snatch a chicken from a small, enclosed coop without leaving much damage to the coop.
After months of searching and months of disappearing hens, they finally found the bird burglar - A small, runtish, yet agile female Nadder, who they called "Waer the Spiteful". When Waer was discovered, her easy nights of hunting grew to an end, as young Vikings were assigned to gaurd chicken coops during the night as warriors battled. Several times Waer had been caught almost red-handed, and several times she would escape empty handed, with eventual scars on her body.
Due to this, Waer lost trust of humans and joined her larger comrads in battle, despite making little impact. But the small Nadder was growing angry at how the Vikings were beginning to learn how she hunted, and so, she made a comeback, by observing the Vikings herself.
Nowadays, "Waer The Spiteful" is still known for her infamous chicken snatching, but now, juvenile Vikings who have heard of her reputation seek to befriend her, and the competition grows for the one who might eventually ride her.
