I just bought HTTYD 2 on my Ipad. After watching it I felt like watching the first movie but when I did I realized that the attention to detail in the second movie was much more advanced than in the first. So much so that I couldn't help but spot all the 'flaws' in the original film(HTTYD). The overlays really stood out. Am I the only one to notice or have any of you seen the differences too?

I'm not sure what you mean by 'overlays'... could you explain?
Other than that, enough years passed since the first movie that an improvement in animation was pretty much for granted. I noticed a big difference in scenery, although that could just be because the setting was different instead of a change in world rendering.. The first film was incredibly beautiful in my opinion and the second certainly didn't disappoint. I usually notice colours the most, and I think colours were used better in the second film. i have to go to bed right now so this reply is cut short a little brbrb
