Yeah, I bet they planned to arrange that save, but disguised it as an argument to keep up appearances. XD
Oh, so THAT'S what he said! I never understood it...And awesome for a Shout Out to the original book!

Did you notice that Astrid says in the trailer "You're so busted!" when finding Hiccup with Toothless, but in the movie she just looks at him a few seconds before running away?
Trailer: (at 1:58)

Nah, it was probably a throwaway line, kinda like "Smashing!" frm the 9 commercials, that never made it into the movie.

Or even like gobber's "Welp, there go me undies!" Which I'm slightly glad didn't get into the final movie. ^^;

The part where Ruffnut says, "You're crazy! I like that." is also different from the trailer to finished production. (it's also a hard moment to screencap, but anyway..) Trailer: Movie: I guess it's like how stuff in WALL-E was also changed after the trailer had come out. I recognized David Tennant this time around! I consider this quite an achievement because I've never seen Doctor Who, and I've only seen the guy in a comedy sketch he did with Catherine Tate. (Though most of the jokes were references to Doc Who, and I obviously spend too much time on the internet because I recognized most of them) Edit: Wait, does she have tiny braids in the back of her hair? Interesting.

No, that's just the one on the side of her head. The bad quality just distorts it making it look funky.

I was watching it again (camrip) and I notice that when Astrid kisses Hiccup the last time hie eyes FLUTTER. XD I find this adorable.
David Tennant said like... two lines. "Right" and "Night Fury" one time.
I noticed a lot of the changed and removed lines myself.

Well, in the actual movie, he only does it twice, so... First time is "I'll pack my undies," which actually sounds like good sense if you ask me. XD (Come on, underwear and socks are something you have to pack in BULK when going on a trip!) and then he has a line that's something about hell being unleashed "in my undies." Or something...which, obviously is a sorta bathroom-humor joke. ("Bring me my brown pants!")

One thing I hope is that on the DVD set, there'll be deleted scenes. The movie did seem to have all the un-needed scenes cut out.

The 'hell's been unleashed in my undies, good thing i brought extra,' is as close as he got. That said, what does Stoick keep calling the dragon's nest? "Hellhound's Gate"?

That said, what does Stoick keep calling the dragon's nest? "Hellhound's Gate"? I think so, that sounds about right. I think it's 'cause he hates the dragons so much, and.... a bunch of other obvious stuffs that doesn't need to be mentioned. XD

Okay, third viewing, new things noticed!
When they go into the volcano and we get that great shot of its interior...I'm pretty sure I saw eggs. They were all piled together in a few corners. There might have been some nearby the Gronkles that huddled/backed away together, but I'm not quite sure.
When flying to the volcano, one of the dragons looks like he caught a dolphin.
The Green Death catches a Zippleback when the others fly out of the nest. But it almost got Toothless, and it looks like the Zippleback deliberately flies in range instead. All the other dragons stick to the side, going out in a spiral, that one just flew out of nowhere, like it was buying Toothless time or something.
And finally, in the ending, when everyone flies past on their dragons, they pass a Viking in the middle of a drink. He flinches and puts a hand on his chest like it just went down the wrong tube.

Just got back from the 3D view! And I spotted a LOT of thing! Wish I had taken some note, just to remember them all! 1) When Stoick returns and the vickings a running towards him, you can see two females. One has her hair down and one has her hair up. The one with the hair up congratulates Stoick then continues on. Then the camera changes an we see the rest run past him. However, instead of having her hair down, the other woman has her hair UP. 2) When Stoick saves Hiccup from the Nightmare(the first time) he actually casually fixes his hat after he tackled it. XD 3) Spitelout actually has more then two lines. Not much more, but he does speak up when Stoick threatens to leave Hiccup to them. XD 4) There's a blond woman, whom along with Spitelout, can often be seen around Stoick a lot. Along with that, she has a resemblance to Astrid. Perhaps that's Astrids mom? 5) Astrid looks SAD in the begining, when Gobber was taking him back home. 6) Snotlout is the one who goes 'I can't believe that worked!' and probably because he knew the twin weren't paying any attention when he went to jump on. In fact, you can still hear them arguing! 7) Both of the stirrups on Toothess are EXACTLY the same. Same design and everything! This links back to our 'What Happen to Hiccup's...' thread. 8) Remember the guy who yells in Hiccups face then goes 'Mornin'! '? His beard was actually on FIRE. XDDDDD 9) And lastly, the early designs of Hiccup and Astrid were snuck into the film!!! Remember when the elder was with the two kids while the Vikings were packing to leave? The two children look just like the early designs except with swapped hair color! Check it! And this was all from memory. I FEEL ACOMPLISHED. AND OBSESSED. TEEHEE. [EDIT!] I forgot one thing! On Astrids first flight, while Toothless was still freaking her out, she completely wrapped herself around Hiccup! Both her legs and arms were gripping him. XD EDIT: Sorry Dit, epic page stretching made me put the one pic under the first one...
