(Ok anyone can join and feel free to pull in any official characters~!)
At the edge of the forest a girl was kneeling over a dragon footprint she was taking down notes on it in a rather large book with an ink quill. She stopped her work and looked up rubbing her arms to help warn herself up, "I hate the cold, I hope coming here is worth it." She stood up and started into the village of Berk.

It was a rather unfortunate day for the girl, however. She happened to be wandering by - on her way into the village - a rock roost most villagers stayed very clear of even on the best of days. And a low, unpleasant rumbling from nearby was probably the first hint.
Of course, the long, scaly mess of red and black mottled skin with her mouth full of fangs and her angry expression wasn't really very menacing looking from where she was perched, tail wound firmly around the rock ledge. One wing held her up... the other? Dangling useless. She did try to bring it up once or twice, but after a sharp whine of pain or two, the thought sunk in that this may not have been the best of ideas.
But the Monstrous Nightmare the villagers had come to call "Betsy" did not recognize this girl at all. She wasn't one of the villagers that tromped up occasionally and would more than likely be coming up soon, and it didn't look like she had any food at all. A ripple of flame shimmered across her gleaming scales and she snorted a few smoke rings, irritably, almost as if asking the girl who she was, where she was from, and what - pray tell - she was actually up to.

Even though there were noises emanating from somewhere deep in the trees, no one would suspect what, in fact, was behind them.
The young Night Fury called Mordar waited and watched. Although it didn't appear that anyone was in his immediate sight, he couldn't be too sure. Should he be spotted, he was ready to speed off at a moment's notice.
And of course, should he need to, he had his fire...
But, until that moment came (if it should) he continued to silently stake out the area, hoping for an unsuspecting animal or other to come by..

The girl didn't get very far before she heard the rumbling. She turned around to the sound just as a smoke ring hit her in the face, she waved the smoke away with a cough and froze when she saw the Monsterous Nightmare. She struggled to remember the stories she was told about what to do when she met one. "Some are very protective and need intoductions like a human," She mumbled to herself.
"I-I'm Avalon." She fumbled for the book she dropped and held it open to a page of her notes, "I'm here f-for this, just notes."
She looked around feeling as if she there were more in the tree than just her and the large dragon that she just met.

Betsy lifted her head a bit with a bit of a snort. She heard something else moving in the woods, and naturally she was on alert. She was injured, after all, and while she still had her fangs to go on, that wing was going to be trouble. For a moment, it seemed she may have even started to ignore the strange girl in honor of instead paying attention to whatever it was in the woods nearby.
When Avalon spoke, however, that massive head whipped right back around with a grumbly noise, lowering on that long, spiny neck to get a good look at what she was holding, turning so that one large amber eye could inspect the notes more closely.
Of course, being a dragon, it wasn't exactly like the runes on the page actually meant anything to Betsy. She snorted again, lifting her head as another ripple of flames shimmered over her, making an irate noise as she snuffed about, trying to see if the girl had any food. It was obvious she wasn't really moving from her perch. That one wing was pretty badly damaged.
That sound again! Even more irate, Betsy snapped her head around and roared irritably into the forest. Whatever was slinking around in there was starting to unnerve her!

Mordar quietly watched and waited, until he heard the noises. It sounded as if one of them was human. Relying on the trees to provide cover, he quietly slinked over to the source of the sounds.
Hoping not to be noticed, he looked around to see if he could pinpoint from what direction the sounds were coming from. To him the forest was so thick it seemed like he'd never find out who it was.
Giving up, he resignedly began walking circles around the area, in the hope that, should he be seen, he would finally figure out who exactly was walking around in the woods... and hoping that it meant no harm to him.

Avalon being from such an isolated village had almost no idea how to interact with dragons properly.
She shivered when Betsy growled at her. When she realized that the dragon wasn't moving for an attack, and that it was also hurt, an idea hit her. She carefully reached into her bag and was about to pull a bit of fish from her pack when the large dragon roared into the forest. She backed up wanting to just melt away into the dirt before the reason Betsy was so irritated caught her eye.
She stared at the young Night Fury as he was circling them, "It's another dragon? Father was right, this place IS crawling with them."
She eyed the break in Betsy's wing. A short memory of her Mother setting a broken wing of a bird crossed her mind, "Shouldn't be too different from a bird." She mumbled to herself not noticing that she was slowly stepping closer.

He eyed the human cautiously, seeing that he was spotted. It did not seem as if she would attack, so he did not make any drastic moves. He watched as the human (whom he worked out as being female) interact with the Monstrous Nightmare. Not wanting to interrupt either of them, he wondered what the girl was doing.
She seemed to be friendly, and he ever so slowly took a few steps toward her. Light coming from the openings in the treetops threw 2 scars into sight. One was from the left side of his head, coming off from the top of the eye. The other was on the right side, where a human's temple would be. He waited to see what move the Nightmare and human would next make.

Betsy was, in a word, unhappy. She was completely ignoring the girl now as she crept closer, amber eyes focused on the night fury approaching. She was snarling low in her throat, trying to move back, making a painful little sound whenever she tried to put weight on the injured wing. This wasn't a dragon she knew coming closer. If it had been, she wouldn't be so wary.
May be a good thing for Avalon, though. With the big, angry dragon's attention on Mordar, she could potentially get closer to the wing...

Sniffing the air, the young Terrible Terror realized with joy, there was fish! And it was near by! Finally! His stomech growled loudly, sound stangely similar to Gronkel. He sniffed around wildly, trying to find where the scent came from, searching. He twitch as a loud roar echo'd through the forest, his head shooting up.
A monsterous nightmare?
Maybe it had food! With a small jump, the large Terrible Terror, know as Dogg, took off flying in search for the beast and fish.
How surprised he was when he found not only a monsterous nightmare, but a Nightfury and better yet, a human! Human's were always kind and shared their food! And she *DID* have fish!!! He licked his lips happily. Angling his wings, he shot out, ignoring the two other dragons. With a loud THUMP, he struck the girl causing her to tumble over and gobbled up the fish. He made a purr of satisfaction and licked the woman joyfully, in hopes more more fish. As best as a dargon could, he smiled at her.

It seemed to be oone thing after another today because just as Avalon was about to touch the wing she was tackled over with a shreik. She looked up to see a small dragon licking her, "One thing after another." She stared at Dogg hardly an idea of what to do.

Dogg gave a small whine when the human continued to stare. He bobbed his head up and down, his stomech rumbling loudly. He nosed her bag, hoping she'd get the clue.
"Gshhhhhhhhh."
(Like my TT noise? XD )

Avalon watched the small dragon and reached into her bag pulling out another piece of fish, "You..... want this?" She asked hesitantly placing the meal on the ground so Dogg would get off her alowing her a chance to stand up.

With a loud squeal, he leaped off Avalon, quicky grabbing the fish and swalloed it whole. He stomped his front claws happily, his tail swishing back and forth. He licked his lips. Sniffing the ground again, he looked at the two dragons then back at the woman. "Grssssshhhhh." He purred, looking at her with bright eyes.

If only it hadn't been for that gust of wind, perhaps Pirateperch would have stayed out of the situation entirely. But she hadn't expected it; it caught her wings and threw her from the sky. She would have gladly flown away, if it weren't for the fact that (like most animals) dragons cannot fly if their back is facing the ground. That was, of course, the position Pirateperch was in now.
She tumbled through the sky, accelerating towards the ground at an alarming rate. She would have been seriously injured if the Monstrous Nightmare hadn't broken her fall; Pirateperch landed on the much-larger dragon's back, causing it to snarl in pain.
Pirateperch rolled off the dragon and backed away, apologizing in Dragonese as profusely as she could.
