So, people. The author ofthe fanfic that Northernstar posted actually sent me the EARLY storyboard of HTHYD. Its like a comic with simple sketches (Toothless looks weird). IDK if maybe I can send it to y'all XD.

This is probably going to premiere on NBC (in the USA at least) the last dreamworks special premiered on NBC last time (Kung Fu Panda Christmas) It's coming.....almost here...... |

Ok people,
The author told me that the storyboard that she found and sent me was made somewhere in June 20th. That means that storyboard might be EXACTLY what will happen in the short, unless dreamworks has changed some stuff. Note that she only found the beginning of it. Not all of it.

Hi everyone! I am the author of that fanfiction.net story. Additionally, just so everyone knows, I am actually male, not female.  A while ago, while I was doing my usual HTTYD-related Googling, I discovered a blog that had a storyboard for the special. I was skeptical, so I looked up some of the other storyboards on the site as well. One of them was for an upcoming Dreamworks film called Me and My Shadow. It's about a shadow trying to encourage adventure in his owner's life. (As a teenager, the owner, Stanley, had a scarring experience trying to perform a Houdini rope escape.) I looked film this up, and it seems to exist. So, would it be possible to keep the storyboard within this forum? I'd prefer if it doesn't leak all over the Internet. That being said, I can give a copy to anyone here who wants one. (Just tell me how, I'm not that good at forums...) |

Umm yeah I'm the person that you sent the storyboard on fanfiction (shipfreak12) XD.
So, you were lucky that you actually found the storyboard when searching it on Google XD. Anyway, welcome to Te forum! ^^

toothless11: That's okay. I don't really care too much about my gender. And I had a feeling you were shipfreak12!
Speaking of things I found on Google, I also found a ~10 second clip of what I believe is HTHYD. Didn't tell much about the plot, but I might have a possible cast list. It seems that Hiccup, Gobber, and Fishlegs are the same voice actors as the film, which is great. But I'm a little more worried about whether Astrid will be the same. In the clip she sounds pretty different from the film-Astrid.
