EVERYTHING! XD So many HTTYD stuff. Any of it can come out as stupid as Toy Story 3 and a bunch of other movies. I'm sure the series will be stupid, and will ruin the original movie. HTTYD was close to a perfect movie. The original film was enough. So why risk ruining it by making lots of more shorts/films and a series. HHTYD 2 was originally planned to be realeased in 2013. That was a good date. But now in 2014, and TS4 is being realesed before -_-. 2016??? You serious?? Ima be 17 be then  . That's all. |

Besides, HTTYD world needs more "stuff" in it...... but not too much.... its Like a Tortilla, Its delicious but if you put too much stuff in it, it will just explode!! : > I don't mind about their plans as long as the story is believable and it is made with passion.... |

I'm not ok with it at all -_-. I wont even like the movie by then cuz Te series is gonna suck so much that's its gonna make me hate it just like Madagascar's series. And who knows what crazy and stupid stuff they might come out with. In 2016, I am SURE that Te cast won't be the same, the animation will be different, the characters will look different or won't even be the same ones, it will take place MANY years after HTTYD and HTTYD 2, and a bunch of other sh!tty stuff! All the other movies that used to be my favorite; I got tired of them because I watched them too much. This is what I'm avoiding with HTTYD to avoid getting annoyed by it. But really, they're doing just far too much and they really exaggerated this time. HTHYD, maybe the rumored "Gift of a night fury", HTTYD series, HTTYD 2, HTTYD 3. WTF?!?!? Even now I'm really getting annoyed by how much crap they're doing. HTTYD wa one of those only great, epic an nearly perfect movies out there and yet its soon going to be ruined. I have never loved a movie as much as HTTYD, and it just gets me angry to know about how many loads of stuff they're bringing into it. With the first movie an maybe the short, it was enough! I wasn't so ok when I knew about the sequel. I got angry about the series, i got kinda annoyed with the news of HTTYD 3, and now I'm getting to like the tip of possibly starting to get annoyed by the movie with the news of yet another rumored short -_-. I still have high hopes for the series because of this statement Dreamworks producer Tim Johnson said in this interview video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=AP24ccpPlBI#t=4m32sI know that you shouldn't expect the series to be as good as the movie, but at the same time, I don't think you should gauge your expectations on the upcoming series based upon their previous television productions after hearing what Tim had to say about it. I think you're seriously overreacting. I'm going to tell you what I told some people on a Narnia forum before the 3rd movie came out who were acting all pessimistic and stuff: The movie isn't out yet, so don't judge it before its even out. It won't be out for years now! Judging things that early on the way you are just isn't fair. And honestly its rather annoying. And you do realize that the reason they're making more of the movies is because of the book series they're based off? And since the book series is good I think the movies will be good, as long as the keep the creativity, intensity and fun from the first one. I do agree though that they're going a little overboard with all the movie shorts and TV series stuff though, but then moviemakers haven't seem to have heard the term "Too much of a good thing." I just don't believe in hating everything before it comes out. Afterwards.... well that depends.  |

And you do realizse that the reason they're making more of the movies is because of the book series they're based off? Actually, I really don't think that's the case. The movie deviated significantly from the story in the book that they would have a hard time trying to use them as an outline for future productions. While they may choose to bring in new characters or incorporate broad ideas introduced in the books, the movie and the book is disjointed enough that I don't think the studio feels any obligation to continue the franchise just because the book series goes on. If HTTYD was the only book Cressida Cowell wrote, I still believe Dreamworks would have proceeded with writing a sequel. Narnia, on the other hand, had a closer relationship between books and the film so one dictated the other quite a bit it seems. |

There is a mysterious thing called "Hatch a Dragon," but it doesn't look like much of a holiday special. And thanks to BlackRose108 for finding this! And now I have two more things I need to write screenplays for... ;D

Lol Srry for not believing you  . Well I really am BOT looking forward to it. Even "Gift of night fury," makes it sound like it's not gonna be good. It has to do something with a night fury, and that means that another one will appear. Thats something that I would not like to see in a HTTYD movie/short/series. If not, the plot still sounds stupid. Hiccup and Toothless discover never before seen dragons. Seriously??? That is a basic plot that ANY simple and dumb movie would get. That's not called an "Adventure". Its basically just like Boneknapper. Really, I don't have a good feeling about this at all. Dreamworks might just ruin HTTYD in an even worse way than Madagascar, and I will hate it even more than it even though lots of people wish for it, and want to see Toothless o the screen once more. Sure it would be nice to see everyone's favorite dragon again, but it's the story that he'll be in that matters most. Ladies an gentlemen, this has been my review on the upcoming shorts of HTTYD. What do you think? Will the movie be ruined, or will these upcoming animations turn out epic? Toothless11 here, signing off. Lol XD. Anyway, can't wait to see your story! ^^ |

MozartMeerkittenWell HTTYD has been the best movie that I've ever seen. Im sure that the sequels might be good only cuz Dean is directing them. I can't say the same for everything else though. I mean, Boneknapper sucked in my opinion. It wasnt that good at all. And yes, they REALLY are bringing far too much HTTYD stuff. Even if everything turns out epic or good, they really passed the line this one. People are probably gonna get annoyed by everything even if it turns out good. |

I'm not sure what to think either. It could all be good. My expectations for Hatch aren't too high (it's a holiday special, after all), but the other two shorts could be actual adventures, which really wouldn't be too bad. As long as they keep exploring and developing the HTTYD world, I'm basically fine (original cast would be awesome).
Hey, if people here are interested, I could put up a segment of my story (preferably one of the least crappy parts) as a kind of teaser. What do you think?

Yeah, unfortunately there just isn't enough money to pay such big name people to do voice work for such a small production. I am curious to know, however, how much studio time, on average, is required of the voice actor to record everything for the lead character in a 22 min episode. |
