Those here who do Minecraft modding could be interested in my dragon riding mod that I'm working on since a while. I also experimented with the models from "Wild Skies" and loaded them in Minecraft just for fun: Not very useful at the moment, though.

As mentioned before, I got them from the browser game Wild Skies. Getting the models wasn't exactly easy, since the game engine (Unity) uses a pretty weird resource format. But if you have any use for it, you can download them here: www.ata4.info/downloads/dwd/wild_skies/dragon_models.7zSome notes about the models: - Right now, they're just raw .obj meshes in the default pose without any rigs or animations. I'll try to extract at least the rig so you could use the models for 3D printing, for example.
- The models are most likely based on the movie models, but obviously optimized for real time applications, so the resolution of both the textures and polygons is much lower.
- The Thunderdrum doesn't have any textures, because I couldn't find any in the game files.
- The Monstrous Nightmare doesn't have a texture for the eyes, since it uses a different image format that I don't know and understand yet.

Oh ok...Thanks for the link! I'll download them when I get on the computer...XD And thanks for pouting that out ^^ I look forward to seeing the extracted rigs Yeah I noticed the lower detail on the pics that you posted... Man, if a mod could be made with those models in Minecraft, with animations included, that would make Minecraft WAYY better XD Kinda doubt it's possible though. But I know nothing about modding

After lots of scripting and googling, I finally got working rigs! They're a bit buggy right now, but it will definitely save a lot of work for those who need the models for posing and animation. But that's off-topic here, so I'll post the results in a new thread soon once I'm done and have made an actual account here .
