Well I personally don't thin that the series will be good at all. Just because it might not be the same cast, and because the director of the film wont be in it.

Didn't Cartoon Network say the show is coming 2012 in their upfront? We have no idea of the content of the show. It could very well be an alternate continuity from the movies with the same characters. =/ "On October 12, 2010 it was announced that Cartoon Network had acquired worldwide broadcast rights to a weekly animated series based on the movie, scheduled to begin sometime in 2012[/b]" <----RAGE Yup, no cast, no IMDB page (That is bad!!!), no news, no info whatsoever, no [Insert something]...... NOTHING I did read somewhere that the Series starts in right after the first movie.... and HTTYD 2 is like chapter 2.... dunno where The LOBD fits into.... For me it s better than nothing ù.ù Me too..... MY OBSESSION DEMANDS IT!!! They change the cast - Warn them.
They do a stupid plot -Warn them more.
It's not loyal to the original film - Warn them MORE.
No (that much) flight sequences - I don't care much.
Hiccup looses his right leg - Threaten
They change Toothless's appearance - KILL THEM A 1000 TIMES, ALL IN DIFFERENT WAYS, DESTROY THE SERIES, KILL CARTOON NETWORK AND ALL OF THE SERIES BASTARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And possibly hate the movie. Madagascar's series made me hate the movie permanently due to it being so stupid.

The cast is going to most likely change. You seriously expect America Ferrera to work on the TV series? That's why I say, a new continuity for the show would be best. Maybe based closer on the books than the movie.

I think it would be cool for the series to be like a prolog even. That would mean that cast changes wouldn't matter cuz they'd be younger and stuff. Lol. But what they said would happen is that they would continue the story. I really don't think a cast change is TOO serious if in the series. (it would make the SEQUEL suck though). I mean, they are just voices. Be thankful you can hear ANY voices. And if you really can't stand them then turn it on mute and put on subtitles.
On a slightly different subject I would LOVE to see the base SOME of the sequel and series on the books. So I mean;
~Fishlegs is more of Hiccups friend or SOMEONE
~I want to see him. STILL be a little like the outcast
~I WANNA SEEE ALLLLVVVIIIIIINNNN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
