I was privileged to go to the midnight premier at my local theater (which I haven't been to in forever ). How is it? I haven't seen any of the super hero movies since Spiderman 3 It was epic and funny. The thing is you kinda have to watch the individual superhero movies to understand some of the movie.

I was so super excited to see Avengers tonight and went early to make sure I got good seats. But when the trailers started playing, I noticed that the front right channel speaker wasn't working and the subs were making severe rattling sounds behind the screen. I waited until the movie played hoping that the feature film sound was encoded differently and would fix the problem.
Noooope!
First time I've ever had to walk out of a theater for any reason. So I was given readmission tickets to come back and see it in another theater room.
I'm curious if anyone else decided to bail. I quickly bailed two minutes into the movie; I wasn't going to watch a movie of that caliber with crap sound.
I consider myself an audiophile, but anyone with any sense of what quality theater sound should be like should have walked out with me.
Needless to say, I was really disappointed since I was looking forward to seeing it all day.
On a side note, I saw a trailer for Pixar's "Brave." Instead of thinking of whether the movie will be good or not, I couldn't help but think about an effective strategy for Dreamworks on HTTYD 2. Since family animated films do have trailers in front of PG-13 movies, I have to say again that I think it would be a good idea to make a more mature and dramatic trailer to put in front of movies like these as opposed to your traditional lightheaded and comical trailer placed in front of G and PG rated films.

Brave: It was good, but this movie had a very simple plot and a already given message. I still liked it.
