Congrats to TS3 (even thought HTTYD deserved it). Both movies are brilliant and are watchable at any age. My brother (10) watched TS3 with me, and he loved it. I remember seeing the first one in the theater to this day. Probably the best trilogy on Earth (excluding The Lord of the Rings). A movie has never made me want to cry like TS3 did (luckily, I didn't. I was breathing funny though), so it did something right. Oh well.

I knew it had no chance (what with TS3 nominated for best film) but my hope was very much alive and then crushed immediately without mercy. As much as I love that trilogy and liked that film and appreciate what Pixar have done for animation, I was displeased. I believe HTDYD was the better film.
Deserved Best Score but didn't have a chance. And I agree about the clip they played in the preview thing. Test Drive would have worked so well with just a few seconds.
However, very pleased with the clip they showed in the 'best animated preview' thought it summed up the film's emotions perfectly. Anyone else notice how HTDYD and the Illusionist got these touching clips while TS3 got a really goofy one? I just thought it was odd.
WINNER IN MY HEART. *clutches memorabilia*

While I don't hate Toy Story 3, I was incredibly disappointed that Dragon did not win. Because Pixar? Everyone knows Pixar. Everyone loves Pixar, too. They get so much credit, everything they make turns out to be a box-office success. Toy Story 3, while a good movie (made me cry three times, but I think that was just my nostalgia goggles) is just another film made by Pixar. And a sequel, too.
Dragon, however, was something special, something new... before this, Dreamworks has been thought of not being able to make a heartfelt movie, while Pixar has done that a lot before. So, in short, Dragon is unique, Toy Story 3 isn't.
And unique movies deserve to be winners because they stand out.

Yeah you're right. I mean, before HTTYD I didn't feel like watching any films for younger kids at all. When I watched it I ende up amazed. HTTYD even opened my mind to more imagination and stuff. It has been my favorite movie for over a year. Other movies were usually my favorite for a few weeks only.

I will not watch them....... well, U can guess it: I love them now!!! (exept for those movies where they start to sing <-- ALT + F4!!!!)

Yep, I love the way that DreamWorks does their movies, which means: NO SINGING!!!, awesome soundtracks and graphics, hilarious humor( but no overdoing!) and almost every movie has a memorable characters and plot (Toothless!!! : EDIT: If HTTYD would have included some singing....... well..... ALT + F4 and I wouldn't be here...

Lol, seeing Toothless is what inspired me to watch the movie. He's so cute! Just by seeing him on tv trailers made me watch the movie.
