Hiccup: Thank you Toothless11!.. *wraps self in a blanket* i wish you could try some, its delicious, especially when Astrid is the one making it... she makes AWESOME...food, and drinks! Brrr! Its cold to the point where theres frost collecting on the horns/antlers of the Monstrous Nightmares here..my less favorite time of year when the only warmpth is either a fire or the person next to you... in that case i wouldnt mind snuggling up with Toothless .. or Astrid... either works.. its always akward when its my father or when he invites guests over... i get lost in a sea of my own kind..not very pleasant i can assure you, unless you like the smell of manly B.O. and being sandwiched between two gnarly guys with acessories on..*shudders at the thought, sips some Deadmans Ale*

Hiccup: it gets pretty cold since we're near the water. And besides, winter has barely begun.. Which means my dad is going stir-crazy trying to feed the entire clan. *sigh* Maybe they wouldnt be so big if they didnt eat as much..

Hiccup: well, one of anyway..*sips Deadmans Ale again* In the spring we have to make sure we have enough sheep, yak, pigs, any sort of livestock.. then after that we have to make sure that they are healthy and they stay alive until we see our first patch of snowfall..

Hiccup: Your tellin' me! since the dragons have come, we almost quadrupled the livestock (it took LOTS of times to get it right) The hardest part is trying to keep everyone from eating more than their share in winter.. so we dont run out

Toothless11: Whoa! Well don't most of the dragona go to hunt by themselves?

Hiccup: Tamed dragons do not hunt (which is pretty much the majority)... only the wild ones hunt (which here are very few). Here, they get fed at least four square meals a day, and they never have to go looking for their food, because its always right there in their trough.
