You may have already seen this on dA, since I usually immediately submit my stuff to HtTYD groups, but I sketched out a lil Gobber on Saturday night. I haven't colored it yet, but I'm going to, and couldn't today cuz we were having a thunderstorm, and I didn't want my PC on during that.

I'm trying to draw him and Stoick as little kids for this really great comic idea I came up with, and I'm pretty sure I've got Gobber down.... but I'm having THE hardest time with Stoick.

Come on. Am I not the only one who has trouble imagining him without that freakin' beard?!! >8I

To my surprise, I was actually get a lil Stoick on paper yesterday. I had tried so hard and went through so many designs the day I drew Gobber.... only to sit down at 9:30 last night, and within 20 minutes sketch out exactly what I had imagined. Guess the first day I tried just WASN'T my day to draw him. xDD;;;

I still have to finish it, scan it, and color it, but I'm thinking of doing it along the same lines as the way I colored Gobber.

I can't believe I drew him.... and it looks like him.... even without a beard.... ;U;

I have Stoick all scanned and stuff, but I drew this yesterday and HAD to post it.

It's Hiccup's mommy, Eira. (and YEAH I know her name was Valhallarama in the books - I READ THEM. But they never mentioned her name in the movie so I had a bit of creative license to make one up!)

My sister thought this looked pretty epic. It's the hair, blowing in the salty sea wind, that just makes it look even moar epic. >
