I looked this up to find the title: I'm summarising and reviewing this as my holiday homework! www.youtube.com/watch?v=Acrdv2yYT_II can't really translate it at the moment, because I don't have time, but I'll try and get something translated. If it helps, in the very start, just imagine the English trailer. Hiccup is basically saying the same things. ..Or maybe his name is Harold? I lol'ed. But otherwise.. OMG FRENCH HICCUP'S VOICE IS SOOOO CUUUTTEEEE!!! WHO IS THAT GUY?!?!?! edit: I changed the title to International trailers because Toothless has taken the liberty to put up the Dutch and German trailers. Thanks, Toothless!!! So, that being said, feel free to put any other dubbed trailers onto this thread!

It's cool to hear it in different languages!
Here's what I found:
Dutch
German
I never go to see movies in my own language (Dutch), because the voices are always bad (like here). Besides that, English and French are really cool languages, Dutch and German... not so much.
Although in the Dutch trailer, Gobber got me laughing, he speaks with a very strong "farmer accent". Also, they replaced the "You're sooo busted!" from Astrid with "Jij bent zooo de sigaar", if you would literally translate that in English that would be "You are sooo the sigar", which is a very stupid Dutch proverb. XD
Oh, and his name is Hikkie here (pronounced as Hikky).

Huh.. Well, you'd have an easier time translating - I'm not French, I learn it at school ^^'
I can somewhat understand what they are saying, but a lot of the stuff they say is too fast for me to catch. I LOVE the Fench alternative to 'Bup-ba-da, we're dead.'
I'm pretty sure he says 'Dun-da-da, on est griller', which means "we're toast"

Yea, that's cool. I had French lessons for 4 years, but I can't say that I understand much of it.

Aw, he does sound cute in French. I can't remember much of my lessons, so I can't translate much either, except that Hiccup says "I'm called Harold" and a few other odd words here and there. I like how the French trailer also did a few things differently, do it wasn't just a redub of the official trailer.

That's what I like about French dubbed films.. I admire how they acheive a whole new script with the same meaning! Hmmm... I have a little time now, I'll try and translate what I can now. Sorry, there's going to be a lot of spaces with the word *something*.. hopefully it'll still be somewhat understandable.
Hiccup: Here, is my home. We practice fishing, *something*, and there's a marvellous sunset. The only *something*... the pests. The most parts have mice, or mosquitoes... No, we have.. dragons. My name is Hiccup (Well, Harold in the French version). I've always wanted to become a big Viking, because *something* and dragons, at our home, is *something*.
Gobber: *Ok, I have NO IDEA what he says here... his voice is so hoarse!* Hiccup: *something something* I have to make my place! Gobber: *again, can't understand Gobber* Hiccup: This machine will di it for me! Hiccup: ...Sorry.
BY THE CREATORS OF SHREK Hiccup: Ah, (we looked something?) AND MADAGASCAR Hiccup: Euh.. kind dragon... Toothless: *CHOMP!* Hiccup: Euh.. yes? Eh! No! N-no, no, no no... Awww. *disgusted*
Hiccup: All we have ever thought to know *something*... is crazy!
IN 2010 Astrid: *gasp* Get down! Hiccup: (Tu vois bien*) Astrid... Toothless (Grunt-mot? What? LOL) Astrid: You're going (er...) to suffer. Hiccup: Dun-da-da, we're toast.
That's all for now.. I think I might work out on filling in the blanks before I continue. Also, Tu vois bien: I'm pretty sure that's a culture thing. It literally means 'you look well', but it doesn't really fit into that context. I'm pretty sure we were told what the phrase means as a common saying of sorts, but I've forgotten it. I'm back at school on Monday, though, so hopefully I'll be able to translate more soon!

Found another French trailer today.
I love his little "yay!"
It seems they also added extra lip movements at points, like when Hiccup holds his hand out and when he's working on the saddle.
