I recently dreamt that I was flying through New York City on Toothless, running into buildings constantly, though flying Toothless felt more like playing a video game and having a hard time with the controls than actually riding a horse or something.
That's my dream lol.

I had a pretty cool HTTYD dream last night, it was sorta unique. Apparently, I'm on the set of some movie (which post-dream I think is HTTYD itself) and I'm told to escort someone to a building (a film services building maybe?). This "someone" is actually a Night Fury. For some reason, I came under the impression of the term "living prop", I'm not sure why though. I now think that this was the actor that played as Toothless (that makes you think lol ). He can talk, but doesn't say much besides "Okay." and things like that. There's not much else to this dream. I just thought it was weird to think that instead of meeting Toothless, that I just met the actor who played as him xD Your mind = Blown

This one is a bit strange, not sure why my subconscious structured it this way, but it did! But who really understands why dreams are like they are?
We're doing a tv show where a sit-in audience of guests are required.
The crew couldn't get enough guests, so they just grabbed random people off the street to fill in the gaps.
I was one of them.
For some reason, Hiccup, Astrid and Fishlegs are in the audience as well. And they happened to bring their dragon friends as well, who are standing behind the seats (naturally, the chairs are way too small for a dragon to sit in!).
For the first part of this, I'm mostly sitting beside Hiccup.
We're not really doing much, just watching the host of the show interview his guests.
And the guy is one arrogant, well, there's not a nice word I can use there. Basically, he's an egotist and even though he's supposed to be interviewing the audience members, he's making it all about how good he is etc.
I'm thinking Astrid is getting rather annoyed, because she moves to stand against the wall with her arms crossed and looks rather tense.
During a break in filming, I'm just talking to Fishlegs about stuff. I don't think it was anything important, just making a new friend, so to speak.
Then we're wandering around the other studios waiting for them to film the next segment.
Keep in mind Toothless, Stormfly and Meatlug are circling around us, just generally being curious and investigating stuff. It's important later.
We get to this room with lifesize animatronic dinosaurs, where they're filming for another show.
One of them starts acting up (it's something like a T-rex) and they try to deactivate it. I happen to be the one standing closest to it and I can hear what it says when the remote shutdown fails.
It starts ranting about being evil and tries to eat anyone nearby. Which is particularly bad news for me, since I'm the closest one to it!
Toothless sees what is going on and leaps into action, followed by Stormfly and Meatlug. In fairly short order, there's bits of smashed animatronic dinosaur all over the studio.
Then we go back to the studio and start filming the second segment. More egotistic drivel. For some reason Toothless is standing beside me and shooting nasty looks at the host. Every time I mention the host's name in a whisper, Toothless says something rather menacing and rude in Dragonese.
While they're in the 3rd production break, I do say something to the production crew that the host had better be careful about his grandstanding, because an angry dragon isn't something you want to deal with.
While we're shooting the 3rd segment, Toothless is oddly absent. We kept expecting him to jump out from the shadows and pin the host down, but we never see him.
Then, after the show ends, Toothless reappears and sneaks out.
It's then we learn that Toothless has taken a more subtle approach to express his disapproval.
He'd taken a visit to the host's room (the place where they chill between takes). This room was apparently filled with monuments to his ego. Well, it used to be, it isn't anymore! Because Toothless destroyed everything in there. And he did leave a large pile of dragon dung and rotting fish in the middle of the room. Don't ask me where he got that, it's definitely more then one dragon (or three!) could produce and as for the rotting fish, I have no idea where he found that either.
But then again, Toothless is always resourceful.
I've no idea why my subconscious set this dream in a modern environment instead of the island of Berk.
Nor do I have any idea why Toothless was actually speaking Dragonese when he's never shown that he does in the movie or series.
Mind you, I do believe that the Dragons speak Dragonese, it's just that nobody has learned to understand it yet.

^That's a VERY detailed dream.... Usually they're hazy and you don't remember much of them.

Ones like that are rare for me, but when I get them, they are very clear and concise.
Also, I've practiced the technique of memorizing them shortly after I wake up, so I can write them down.
It's tricky to do, but you have to play the events back in your head so you can remember it more clearly.

Okay, so I had another short HTTYD dream. This one was a bit odd, but cool. In this dream, I was riding a Night Fury out of the atmosphere of a icey/foggy planet. We then started flying through space (cool, huh?) There were many fiery/flaming planet (suns, perhaps?). We dodged the planets and their flares. Later on we land on some "less fiery planet" and met some person that happens to be some kind of princess (I have no clue about that...). Yeah...that's it. Dragons in space sounds really freaking cool, though.

it seems like whenever I have dreams, they repeat over and over again. I don't usually have dreams, but when I do one of three dreams shows up, and one of them is somewhat HTTYD related. I'll try to fill in the gaps where I can't remember.
right. so, I'm standing in the middle of this really huge field. I think it's a soccer field, but I'm not sure. I can't see anything but grass in the distance. I look around, but then I see a town. It's really super small, though, because it's way in the distance, and I almost didn't see it. after that, I start running, and then I grow these wings and fly! I can't remember if they were feathered or dragon wings. I eventually come on this town, and I see my family and my friends, and also Astrid and Hiccup are waving. my family and friends are open-mouthed, totally in awe. I remember that part very clearly. and then, I see my enemies and I think the Outcast, too. they come in an angry Mob, my worst enemy and Alvin leading them. I'm still flying, remember. I go higher, and higher, and higher, until I can't see anything, and it gets really foggy and dark.
and I think that's it. I can't remember anything clearly, because I haven't had the dream in a long time. I moved pretty recently and haven't made a whole lot of new enemies or friends.
also, when I wake up, I'm always in a good mood afterwards. which is really weird, considering that my parents and brother are totally open mouthed. I think Ben (My brother) actually looked kind of jealous; that, and the angry mob isn't very friendly, obviously.
the only two things I can remember very clearly is the one part where they are all in awe, and the one part where I was flying around town, and feeling the wind blowing in my face and my stomach flip-flopping because I'm flying, and I get car-sick really easily. XD sometimes I wake up before I get to the part with the angry mob and the flying really high, and sometimes the angry mob is skipped altogether.
but yeah. like I said, I haven't had this dream in a loooooong time.

I had an HTTYD dream last night, I think it's the first one I've ever had. I watched the movie right before going to bed, so I think that's what caused me to dream about this. I woke up when the dream ended and I was going to write it down, but it was still very early in the morning and I fell back to sleep. I've forgotten most of the detail but I still remember the general ideas.
I think I was watching a preview for the HTTYD sequel. I wasn't able to interact with what was going on so I'm pretty sure it was just me watching something. In it Hiccup looked obviously older, also had a bit of facial hair stubble. He was riding on Toothless through the sky while wearing a rather complicated-looking brown leather flight suit. They were having fun doing several tricks like flips and free-falling, when I believe they get attacked by someone else I didn't recognize who was also riding a dragon. After getting attacked they decide to follow this mystery person. (so far it sounds an awful lot like what was shown at Annecy.)
After this point I don't remember much specific detail. I remember seeing Astrid and Stormfly, going to follow Hiccup and Toothless to provide backup in case they get into a battle. I remember this 'preview' detailed some of the plot points of the movie, like what the general synopsis of the movie was and what was going to happen. (This part I'm rather glad I forgot) There was a scene that looked like Hiccup and Toothless had to part ways temporarily for an unspecified reason, and Hiccup and Toothless both looked so upset, it was heartbreaking. I felt quite emotional at this, and I think this burst of emotion is what woke me up. (If I get too emotional, angry, scared, upset when I'm dreaming, it almost always wakes me up.) There was more, but my memory is too vague to make out any specific detail.
I had another dream after I went back to sleep. That dream had a part that involved this website and me trying to post my HTTYD dream to this thread; it also included me getting attacked by a bear. That was the fifth time in the past two months where I've gotten mauled by a bear in a dream. Weird.

Oh boy, another dream about this. It has a bizarre premise, doesn't make sense, and I think it's rather sad, so don't read if you don't like upsetting stuff. It also might change your perspective on the HTTYD movie, as it kind of did that to me.
***
So I was in a movie theatre, watching the world premiere of HTTYD2. A bunch of dignitaries were there, but I didn't see any of the cast or crew that I knew of.
It opens with a live-action, modern-looking Hiccup waking up from his bed. It is revealed that the entirety of the first movie happened in a dream that took place over one night. "Hiccup" is actually now a young man who's having a hard time finding his place in the world. He created the world of HTTYD in his dreams when he was about 13 to help him deal with the loneliness and ostracism he faced in his life. He wanted a place where he could be a hero, have a loyal friend, and escape from his real-life problems. He stopped visiting the dragons world shortly after the events of the movie, as he didn't want his dream world to become bigger than real life, and having it negatively affect his schooling and his relationship with the few family and friends that he had.
It had been a long time, possibly several years, since he last went to the other world, and now having finished high school and not being sure what to do next in his life, he decides he wants to go back to the world he created again. He discusses this during a car trip with one of his only friends, a friend he's had since childhood and who knows about his dreams. He warns him that he should be careful about going back, as he does not want him to become detached from his real life and become consumed by the make-believe he's created.
He considers his friend's warning, but he's just too curious and decides to visit again, so that night he decides to try to dream about it. He sets up this device that somehow is able to tell him while he's asleep that he's dreaming, which lets him become temporarily lucid and enter into the other world. He visits Berk and finds that Toothless is still there, having waited patiently for him for years for him to return. They decide to go flying again, them both having missed each other's company for so long. The dream is short as he's waken up by a problem with his dreaming device.
The next night, he goes back in and visits his friends in the Berk village again. He has a hard time recognizing anyone because everyone grew older, too. It seemed that even though he never visited the other world for years, time had passed in there as well. His 'dad', Stoick, is very happy to see him again, as he thought he had disappeared off of Berk for good. He learns that Berk is in possible danger, but Stoick did not want to say anything to the rest of the tribe because he didn't know what to do about it. But now that he's finally back, they need his intelligence and ingenuity to save them. Stoick's unable to elaborate before he wakes up again and the dream ends.
The third night, he's indecisive about whether to go back or not. He wants to help what he feels is his 'real' family, his 'real' friends in the Dragons world, from this potential danger, but he does not want what had happened a few years earlier to damage his real life again. He reluctantly decides to go back, because to him, saving what he has left of the place and the people that care about him is more important than what little 'real life' he has left.
The movie had just barely started, but I got a text from family saying that they needed to pick me up from the theatre right now because there had been an emergency. I decided to leave, upset that I couldn't watch the rest, but understanding that I could see it again when it gets released, and that family is the most important. On the way out of the theatre, I thought about what I had seen and realized that it totally didn't match up with the first movie, and a movie like this one wouldn't ever actually be made. I think this realization made me lucid, and that caused me to wake up.

I had another one of those really cool, but short HTTYD dreams again. I had a dream right before this where I was supposed to fight a transparent dragon (not related to HTTYD) in my basement, but I told it that I wouldn't fight it. The previous dream sorta became the following dream because of that transparency effect.
I was in the backyard of my grandparents house (they have a decent sized backyard). I was just walking around until I saw something. For some reason, I can see a white outline of what looks to be a Night Fury fighting something else. This doesn't make sense because the only thing in front of me is dense woods (so I guess I have some kind of "Dragon X-Ray Vision"). The figure stops fighting and I see it walk towards me. Out of nowhere my siblings are now with me as the dragon walks out of the woods and in front of us. The Night Fury starts growling and carefully examining us by circling us. I start assuring him that "everything's okay" and that "no one would hurt him" with my hands out. The dragon finally stops and sits down, no longer growling with his guard up. I reach out to touch his snout and he allows me to do so.
That's about it. Cool dream, just kinda short. I guess I have nothing to complain about though.
I guess this also means there's a Night Fury at my Grandparents house (I knew it! lol)

Before I forget, and before I leave for the night, I had another HTTYD-related dream last night. This one actually makes sense, and it doesn't include my brain trying to come up with ridiculous plots for the sequel I casually showed up at the local movie theatre, it's just a little mom-and-pop sort of place. It looked just like it does in real life. Id idn't know what movie I wanted to see as I didn't know what was playing. I bought a ticket for a movie I can't remember the name of, and I go to the theatre. It turned out nobody like that particular movie and they decided to show HTTYD instead. I was a bit late to the beginning and they started just around the part where Hiccup does his impression of Stoick. I took a seat and got comfy, thinking "meh, I don't care, getting to see HTTYD in theatre again is pretty awesome." I think I got to the part where Hiccup finds Toothless in the woods, and then I woke up.

Heh, it's in my town here, it's just a little four screen cinema that still uses film projectors (yay!) but doesn't have stadium seating or surround sound (boo!). I don't often go to this one because i hate having to look over people's heads, and their popcorn is usually stale. It's better to spend a couple dollars more at the Cineplex in the next town to get stadium seating, surround sound, and fresh popcorn, but suffer with the 2K projectors.
