Shockstorm had been agitated ever since they had come into this forest, but hiding behind these rocks was just agonizing. Despite this, he did manage to maintain his self control and not spark at all. However, when a very familiar grumbling sound came from almost right above his head, Shockstorm nearly rolled over in surprise. ::In the name of all that's covered in fish oil! It's you Temp, ... and hunter-girl too.:: Shockstorm roared and sparked. ::Wait a minute, I know I wasn't paying attention but you were keeping watch Jorgen! Why didn't you say anything!:: Shock sparked in annoyance towards where Jorgen was, now leaning against the tree he had hid behind earlier.
"Well that is quite simple, I used Tempest to get payback on you for making me keep watch all day." Jorgen said to Shockstorm casually. In truth he had figured out who it was rather quickly, he could tell it was a dragon from the sound of it's footsteps, and the only dragon here would have come with a rider and the only rider in the area other than himself was Ingrid. But watching Shock get startled like that was too amusing to give up the opportunity. "Well, I guess the proper thing to do is to say hi. And I won't bother trying to hide it, I did indeed follow you here with the intent of helping you, with the added benefit of learning more about the Hunters." Jorgen said to Ingrid, not wasting time and getting to the point. 'Of course I would have tried lying if I had remembered to come up with one before we got here.' Jorgen added silently. Now that that was out of the way, all he could do is wait and see what Ingrid does next.

Tempest barked a laugh down at the surprised Skrill and bounded off of the rock, heading to a position slightly to the side of both dragon and rider so that Tempest and Ingrid could both have a decent view of the pair. Tempest settled down so that Ingrid could climb off of her before she responded to Shockstorm. ::Hey, you know you should have payed more attention! Your own fault that we snuck up on you:: she grumbled to him, grinning playfully at the small victory. The dragon let out a guttural laugh before she started pacing around, still pent up after being cooped inside the stable all day. As a result, she found she couldn't hold still, and instead decided to continue her pacing around their location in the forest.
Ingrid crossed her arms when she got off of her dragon and turned to her human friend, a brow arched high. She couldn't say that she was very surprised with the discovery, but she still didn't really know what to think about the situation. She was silent for a long time, staring darkly at the other human in front of her. As much as she thought about telling him off, sending him back to Berk and leaving her to her business, she had a certain code to adhere to, and she wouldn't be following it if she just turned away a friend who was offering her some help. Letting out a heavy sigh and dropping her hands to her hips, she gestured in the direction she came from, "You can keep Shockstorm in the stable with Tempest. It would be best if you only took him out well after the sun has fallen," she said, cutting straight to the chase rather then wasting time talking about something that would only have one outcome.

"Thanks, I'll make sure Shock doesn't go eating anybody's sheep while we're here." Jorgen said to Ingrid. For a moment he had been worried that she would refuse his help, but thankfully Ingrid seemed to have accepted it. He had a feeling that Shock wouldn't mind having to stay in one place all day long every day, for him it would probably just mean more napping, but Jorgen wondered how his Skrill will like the fact that he'll have to share the stables with Tempest. After all, Shockstorm was always possessive of his nesting place, hopefully though Shock won't do anything stupid in protest. "So, what brings you and Tempest out here at this hour? Going on a night flight?" Jorgen asked Ingrid casually. While he fully knew the answer, this situation was a mix of awkward and tense, and he figured he should try and break the ice to return some normality to the situation.
Shockstorm sparked in embarrassment. To think he had been surprised by a Night Fury, even if it was Tempest, it was annoying to say the least. ::Laugh it up now Temp, I'll find a way to get back at you, just you wait.:: Shockstorm grumbled lightly in response. Looking over at his human and the hunter-girl, Shockstorm could tell that hunter-girl had accepted his human's help, which meant he'd be stuck in this pit of dragon killers. And to make it worse, the only defense against said dragon killers was hunter-girl and Jorgen, Shockstorm could count on his human but he never really did like hunter-girl. She made him nervous just being within the same area. Why Jorgen couldn't bring Sunfire instead is beyond him, but Shockstorm was stuck here now, which is just his luck.

Ingrid nodded her thanks at his first comment before she turned and walked over to the rock she had cleared earlier. Turning around, she leaned back against the smooth stone and let out a sigh. Casual talking didn't interest her, there was no point to it, and it was obviously an attempt to make the situation a little more normal. However, she'd play along for the sake of being nice. Giving a single nod to the other human, she spoke in as pleasant of a tone as she could manage considering the situation, "Yes, I took her out for a flight before she ran off into the woods. Seems like she knew you two were here," she retorted with a humorless chuckle. While she wasn't going to hold it against him, the situation was far from normal, so she saw no reason to treat it as normal.
Tempest laughed at Shock's comment, shaking her head vigorously, ::Yeah, talk it up Shock. I doubt it!:: she exclaimed at him as she continued her little exploration of the area. While she'd rather be flying, the arrival of their companions left her grounded for the time being. Her human knew where it was safest to fly around, so she'd rather fly with Ingrid, rather then attempting to fly around for herself. If that meant that she'd have to stick around on the ground for a bit while the humans finished their conversation, she would just have to deal with it for the moment.

Jorgen sighed as he realized his efforts weren't getting anywhere, though it wasn't a big surprise. It looked like it might take some time for things to calm down. "Well then I won't hold you up any longer. Shock and I will go on and make our way to the stables, we'll see you later. Sorry for the intrusion, but for whatever good it could do consider your efforts here to now be officially endorsed by the Sea-Pillar Tribe. All one of us, four if you include the dragons." Jorgen said with a humorless smile as he waved his Skrill over. Jorgen was getting the feeling that this mission was going to take a long time, good thing he could do what he wants since he's chief of the Sea-Pillars, even if he's the only one left.
::Keep on doubting it, you'll see! Anyway, looks like our humans have finished their conversation, so time to go.:: Shockstorm said to Tempest before turning and walking over to Jorgen. From the look on his human's face, Shockstorm got the feeling that the conversation didn't go as well as he had hoped, but it seemed it did go well enough for them to stay as Jorgen climbed into his saddle and directed Shockstorm towards the large house. "Good news Shock, we get to stay at that big mansion over there. What do you think?" Jorgen said, though Shockstorm couldn't read his tone. ::So does this mean I get to sleep indoors and get fed in bed?:: Shockstorm asked excitedly. "Nope, you're staying in a stable, though you do get fed in bed. You just can't leave that bed ever without me to accompany you." Jorgen said with a short laugh. ::Jerk, you don't need to tease me like that.:: Shockstorm grumbled with a spark running up his spines.

Ingrid nodded at him once, "Well I'm glad I have your tribe's endorsement. When you get into the stable, close the bolt behind you just in case someone has some reason they need to go to the stables. I have my own way in, so you don't have to wait around for me to come in. Take any bedroom that has a closed door, there's comfortable beds with blankets, and some preserved food on the main floor in the East wing. Make yourself at home," she said, giving a little bow to him before quickly walking off to join her dragon for their original intended flight.
Tempest nodded to Shock and grumbled ::Alright, we will see you back at the mansion!:: she bid before she turned and met her human halfway, leaning down so Ingrid could climb on top of her. With her human settled on the saddle again, they took off into the sky quickly, content with the peaceful silence of the night sky and the feeling of wind whipping past them as they dove through the clouds. Their flights usually lasted about an hour on average, so it wouldn't be long until they returned to the mansion.

With that final farewell Jorgen and Shockstorm began walking towards the mansion. Moving at a brisk pace, it didn't take long for them to reach the stables that Ingrid had mentioned. "Well, here's where you'll be staying Shock. Now remember, only come out when I come to get you, or if there is a legitimate emergency. We can't risk the Cove vikings finding you here." Jorgen told his Skrill as he pointed at the entrance to the stables. ::I know, I know, you don't need to mother me Jorgen. I'm not entirely hopeless you know.:: Shockstorm sparked in reply before turning and walking into the stables, while Jorgen locked the bolt as Ingrid had instructed him to do. Something gave Jorgen the impression that Shock will be too busy sleeping to even notice the passage of time, so hopefully that works in his favor. Now it was time for him to take a look inside where he'd be staying, the mansion. Jorgen figured since he'd be living here for a while that he'd have plenty of time to explore the mansion later, so he just skipped to the part where he picked a bedroom to take up residence in, set down his possessions, and get some much needed sleep after being awake for two days straight with several hours of flying packed in. Then he'll be ready to get to work in the morning.

It was almost exactly an hour later that Tempest tore through the clouds and bolted to the ground, landing on all fours behind the mansion with grace and finesse. Grumbling quietly with contentment, she knelt down and allowed her rider off before straightening again and shaking the cloud moisture off of her scales. She wasn't exactly eager to get back inside the stables, but she knew that it could be worse, and being there was something that her human absolutely had to do. So, she would tolerate the closed space of the stables for as long as she needed to, if it gave her human some sense of moral benefit to the entire endeavor.
Ingrid quickly walked up to the side of the stable where a ladder was perched, and scrambled up the wooden structure to the flat top of the stable. Above the door was a small handle, which was attached to a rope that connected to the bolt within. Grasping the handle and giving a heave, the bolt came up without much effort, allowing the door to swing open at a push of Tempest's nose. Thankful for the secret contraption, Ingrid leaped from the roof and landed back on the ground as her dragon was entering the stables, then followed the Night Fury within the structure, not giving much heed to the other dragon who may have been resting within.
Closing the door and bolting it behind her, Ingrid made sure the rope was set before she quickly went inside, giving her mount a light pat on the side as she retreated within the halls of the house. It was another decent night, but the next day would be difficult. She now had a companion with her, and he was no Hunter, or even an Icebear. He wasn't even from Icebreaker Cove, and he was going to help her? She couldn't fathom how it was possible, but she would at least give him a shot, and she hoped that he could actually help her. Treading upstairs, Ingrid powered straight to her room, and made a sweep of the place to make sure everything was in order and in exactly the right place. A small touch of obsessive compulsiveness prevented her from being able to sleep if things weren't in exactly the right place, but since everything was where it was supposed to be, Ingrid hung her cloak up on her dresser, and settled into bed in her clothing with a sigh of contentment. The next morning would come quickly.

Jorgen woke up early the next morning, just as the sun was rising, though it felt a bit too early seeing as he'd been awake for so long. But Jorgen knew that there was still a lot to do before he could afford to sleep in, so he got himself up and prepared for the day. Once he felt presentable Jorgen took a glance around the room, his stuff was all piled roughly in one corner but the rest had already been there. He'd have to remind himself to unpack later, but for now breakfast sounded very appealing so Jorgen walked out into the hall to try and find his way to the meal room that Ingrid had told him about the night before. Jorgen remembered that she had said it was in the east wing, but even with that bit of information he was still feeling groggy and it wasn't long before he was lost. "Just my luck, first day here and I can't even find my way around a house, albeit a fairly large house." Jorgen said to himself with a yawn. He got the feeling it was going to be a long day.

Ingrid was awake with the sun once again, and found herself in the eating hall with her head in the pantry that she had filled the day prior. Preserved meats, vegetables and small fruits, it was plenty stocked for at least the rest of the week, or longer if she tried to make it last and didn't have to feed the dragons with the food out of the pantry. The night had been restless and left a set of unkind dreams to her, but she had managed to get enough sleep that she'd be able to take on the day without too much of difficulties. Removing some of the food from the pantry, she set it out on the counters and began to prepare a sort of breakfast, something that wouldn't take too much effort and the two would be able to eat that early in the morning. That was if Jorgen could actually find his way to the eating hall however, she wasn't certain how long it would take him to find his way there. Sighing to herself in the realization she didn't really give him much in the way of directions there. It was going to be an interesting day.

After a few more minutes of wandering the house in a generally eastward direction, Jorgen finally began to smell the smell of preserved meats and other things. Following his nose as much as his senses, he finally found his way to the meal room to find Ingrid already there. "Good morning Ingrid. I see you had the same idea as me as far as where to go is concerned. I've gotta say, this house is so much bigger than how it seemed from the outside." Jorgen said before yawning again. He was glad he had been able to find his way at all, he would've been lost if not for the smell of meat coming from the pantry. Jorgen would've offered to help set up whatever it was Ingrid had started, but he was still too groggy to even recognize what she had pulled out so he figured it probably wouldn't be a good idea to let him handle the food in this condition. "Why don't you fill me in on the details of your plan and schedule once we start eating. I may be tired now but once I have some food in me I'll be awake enough to get through the day. I figure I might as well start helping as soon as I can, seeing as I'm basically imposing on you for a place to stay and all that." Jorgen said tiredly as he leaned against the wall.

Quite easily preparing the food and setting up their meal, Ingrid looked up to notice her companion entering the room. Giving him a friendly smile, she nodded at him, "Good morning to you as well, Jorgen. It's a decent sized house, that's for certain. Did you sleep well?" she asked before walking over to the wooden table and setting down the plates of food. It was a quick breakfast, not much gathering or anything, it was pretty much just thrown together to eat quickly and then get on with their day. Returning to the pantry to get them some cups of water from one of the barrels in the back, she nodded, "Well, there's not much of a plan behind it, but you're welcome to help in whatever capacity you think that you can. All I'm going on is trying to subtly change their opinions one at a time or in small groups. Cloak and dagger stuff," she said, returning with the two mugs of chilled water. Setting those down on the table as well, she took her seat and gestured for him to do the same.

"Well I guess I slept well, though I think a few more hours would have been nice." Jorgen said as he took his seat at the table. Even though the meal was just a few quick assortments of food, Jorgen was thankful to have a proper breakfast. "Sounds good to me. I think I should be able to come up with a few ideas to help out, after all that is the main reason I decided to follow you here. Though I do hope to learn more about your Hunters while I'm here as well, and in a way this will be great practice for when I rebuild my Sea-Pillar Tribe on Dovangard." Jorgen said as he started eating, though being sure to mind his manners, relatively speaking, as he had learned to do during the one time he visited several wealthy and influential individuals in the Frankish Kingdom. "Much better, I feel alive again. Thanks for the food Ingrid. Now is there anything in particular I should know about today or shall I reacquaint myself with the layout of the Cove?" Jorgen asked as he finished off his meal and drank some of the water Ingrid had provided.

Ingrid nodded with a little chuckle before she started to eat her food idly, thankful to have some food in her stomach. It was an interesting predicament that they found themselves in; they would have a lot of work ahead of them if they wanted to change the views of the Cove, and more so if they wanted the people of the Cove to actually accept dragons as the people of Berk did. Regardless of the difficulties ahead, Ingrid knew that it would take one step at a time to get anything accomplished, and a level head as well. Quickly finishing her breakfast, she set her empty bowl aside and nodded, "Don't mention it; providing for guests is part of makes us who we are. Now, I don't particularly have a place to start, but you might want to familiarize yourself with the Cove for today. We didn't spend very long here last time. I can take you around, show you the sights and introduce you to a few people," she suggested with a smile and an idle gesture of a hand.

Jorgen smiled as he set down the now empty cup. Of all the things that would factor into how Jorgen himself was going approach helping Ingrid, knowing some people was the most important. After all, when trying to change something it is always better to know where to start, or at least that's what he understood from some of the books he used to collect in Dovangard. The thought of all the books he'd collected during his childhood saddened him, Jorgen had spent a lot of time gathering up that collection and now they were just a pile of ashes. He'll have to remember to include a library when he rebuilds Dovangard, regardless of the fact that very few Vikings can actually read. "Right, I'd appreciate it. Plus it would probably help to be shown around by a local, or at least someone who's from around here. With you there the locals might be a bit less suspicious of the scrawny outsider who just appeared in the night." Jorgen said as he stood up from the table, now fully awake.
"Although, since I'm going to be here for a while this time, I suppose I will need to think of a story as to why I'm here. Generally friends from a distant tribe don't visit for an indefinite amount of time for no particular reason. Any suggestions?" Jorgen asked as the thought struck him while he readjusted his armor straps. Jorgen realized that this would be the first time since permanently moving to Berk that he'd spent a long duration of time in another village. There was also the matter of his lodging, this little mission of Ingrid's would take a few months at the least without some form of divine intervention, and could possibly even take years. And Jorgen was not fond of the idea of spending that long as a guest in another person's home, even if the house is big enough to sleep multiple families comfortably, and he didn't really want to have to build a house here, especially since it would be a lot harder without Shock's and Sunfire's help. It was only because of those two dragons that his house on Berk is bigger than any other. Though thinking on it having a safe-house in the area could be helpful in the future.
