Loex growled silently as he heard more voices in the distance. It didnt look like they heard him, seeing as he got no response back. He slowly stood up, his old bones creaking as he moved. "One last time...Who is there?", the Golden Death shouted louder in plain English. He slowly moved toward the group on all fours, teetering as he walked to them. It almost looked like he was about to topple over at any minute. The old dragon stumbled over some of the rocks that lined the beach, but he still went on. Finally he made it to the small group that consisted of two night furys, a terrible terror, and a human. Loex stood still as he glared at them, taking his time on examining them. (( Thanks for totally ignoring the FACT that Loex is in your faces, glaring at yall... Thank you sooooo much ))

He said to Pirateperch, "Well, I'm wild myself. Don't have anyone who 'owns' me, but I prefer it that way. I try to stay away from the MOST populated areas. And, should I ever need to fly over areas like that, the most people notice, is what I would describe to be a whistle, a very low one at that."
Then, the feeling of being watched overwhelming him, he looked around to see if he could spot who was watching them. His eyes fell on Loex's. He made an inquiring grunt, and waited to see what move he would make.

"So many Night Furies in one place...How dare you loiter here!", The Golden Death growled at them in English. He teetered closer to them, but almost stumbled over his limbs. "L-leave!! I was resting in peace, and now you broke it!", Loex snarled and scanned the area for any others. He took a whiff of the air, and noticed another Night Fury around here somewhere, but couldnt tell where though. Loex took one more step toward the party, hoping they would leave. He could just leave himself, but that would require looking for a different place. The Golden Death was far to old and weak to actually wander around Bert, looking for another peaceful place to sleep. He had to scare them off to save precious energy. Then again, if they fought back, this scarred dragon would have to.

Even though he did not understand English, he noticed this dragons behavior, and inferred that he seemed to be angry. He moved back, a little bit, so that he could appease this threatening-looking arrival.
Should he need to escape of course, he was ready. Of course, he could also use the clouds for cover. Although it would need to be night for him to be fully unhindered. Again he hoped that no threatening moves were made.

GreenStar lost it. He freaked out, jumping from his hiding spot, running full speed away from the others. He tripped, however, and landed on his face. He groaned, not wanting to move.

Pirateperch hissed a warning at the much older dragon. "We mean no harm, sir," she said, "So please give us no reason to cause harm."
The wind began to whistle past her ears; instinctively, Pirateperch clamped her wings to her sides to keep them from getting caught. She glanced towards the sky.
The storm had arrived.
"Perhaps," she moaned, accidentally backing into Mordar as she kept her eyes on the clouds, "We should find shelter. Immediately."

"Do you have any idea where to go?" "Besides maybe a nice big patch of trees? I don't suppose it'd be too treacherous to fly, don't you think? Of course, if there's lightning, that's another story.." He looked around, and checked the big dragon again, then looked at Pirateperch.
"Do you see any good place to shelter?"

GreenStar finally got up, thinking that maybe, just maybe, those others weren't going to hurt him... He quietly made his way back to the beach, and hides behind a large rock. He paid close attention to the large dragon, hoping no one, especially this big dragon, would notice him behind his rock.

Pirateperch looked at the old dragon that had approached them. "Sir, I apologize for trespassing, but please. We need to find shelter as soon as possible! Can you tell us where we could go?"
Her question was drowned by an ear-shattering peal of thunder. Pirateperch screeched in surprise. She was somewhat ashamed of her startled reaction; after all, she was a noble Night Fury.
But this storm had her afraid for her life.
"Please, sir!" she repeated, "We need to find cover, do you know where we can go?"

Loex continued to glare at the dragons, wanting for a response from them. They looked like they didnt understand English, so he might as well speak his natural tongue. He looked around, and jumped back on his hind legs as another Night Fury ran toward them and tripped onto its face. The Golden Death stared oddly at the beast that fell on its face, wondering what in the gods name was wrong with it. He shooked his head, and proceeded to glare at the others. Loex snarled at the one that had hissed at him, but slowly calmed down when it started to talk. "Fine", he scoffed at the dragons and slowly backed off. "If you want shelter...There is a cave near here...". Loex gestured toward the direction the cave was with his head, and looked back at them. "There...", he rasped, their pleas annoying him. The white Night Fury's fear of the on coming storm puzzled him, but it didnt matter. Hopefully they would finally leave him alone at least.

Pirateperch bowed her head in respect. "Thank you so much!" she gasped, glancing nervously at the sky. She turned to Mordor, her eyes wide with fright. This storm, she could sense, would be a killer.
"RUN!"

Mordar followed Pirateperch, because she sounded serious, and he did not want to risk his life at this point, however much he DID take risks. He always stopped short of losing his life.
Thus he followed her every movement, in order to reach the cave before the full force of the storm hit.
He wondered whether to reveal the story of the scars he had received to this dragon, so he waited to see if he could learn more about her.

Pirateperch huddled in the back of the cave, as far away from the howling wind as she could get. Before she could stop herself, the words came tumbling out as she explained what was wrong.
"This storm," she whispered to Mordar, "Its so much like the one that almost killed me, all those years ago...I got caught in it, the wind snapped my wings in two. I fell and fell into a lake, and I almost drowned. The storm raged above me, in my head and in the trees, and I bled and hurt and feared. My wings hurt so much, I couldn't get away from the screams of the storm. Thank the gods Hiccup and Toothless dragged me to safety. I'd have lost my mind and died there."
Pirateperch shuddered. "I thought I'd fully recovered. I thought my mind had grown stronger. But as soon as I smelled the storm, it call came rushing back. Now look at me. Cowering like a hatchling."
She looked into Mordar's eyes. "And now you know why I'm a snivelling wreck. And you? What storms have injured you?"
(wow, what an angst fest this post was...xD)

Lambchop concentrated on her drawing, doodling the dragons around her. She drew herself in the middle, and the other-larger dragons around her. Unaware of the on-coming Strom approaching soon, she did not pay much mind to her surroundings. Even the thunder seemed to fall on deaf ears, as if she never heard it. And, Loex's threats were not heard, either.
But Cloudy heard the thunder, and the angry dragons growls. He let out a high-pitched screech of terror, gripping harder onto his masters head. Cringing, Lambchop looked up and tried to pull him off again. "Goodness, Cloudy, let go or no desert after dinner!" That did the trick, he loosened up and she was able to pick him up off her now throbbing head. He was convulsing in freight, smelling the rain in the air.
Finally taking notice to what was going on around her, Lambchop closed her book and put it away with the pencil. She could smell the rain, too, and did not want to get wet. "Maybe we should get going. It looks like a storm is about to hit. Like, now. And frankly, I don't want to get sick." she was talking to no one in particular.
"If you want shelter...There is a cave near here..." spoke Loex, one of the dragons.Though Lambchop could not understand, the Terror did- being a dragon. Cloudy perked up, he was not going to take the risk of being carried home by a slow human and get poured on. Leaping away from Lambchop, he began to dart off with the other dragons heading for cover in the cave, Lambchop picked her bag up and ran after him; And just as the got inside, it began to storm like crazy outside; with heavy rain, and wild wind. Cloudy made himself into a little ball over by a cave wall. Lambchop went to sit by him, patting his head to try and sooth him.

GreenStar paid no heed to any of the obvious storm signs, but clung to his rock, whimpering a bit. He was scared, but refused to go into the cave.
