If the pot was completely full of venom and they had 6-7+ dragons to cure (we didn't see other dragons around) and they needed to make an antidote, one could assume it was enough if they had to mix it with more ingredients. Which I am assuming they did. I don't think they would give the dragons pure venom as an antidote. XD
For all we know, one drop of venom was all it took mixed with other ingredients to cure and immunize the the dragons and have some left over. (Though I doubt it, but they ARE dragons! And Gothie.)
SPEAKING OF THE POT, did anyone else think the pot changed sizes between when Gobber handed it to Hiccup and when he held it up? Animation error or am I crazy?

That can be a possibility I just finished watching episode 9 again...you're right, it does look like it changed size XD Another animation error that I noticed was at the beggining when Hiccup stands up with the pot of ink, you can see it somehow slides inward into his hand for a moment...

That was a wonderful episode.
And it looks like Hiccup is collecting those items now. The feather of a Hiccup. What next?

The animation quality throughout the entirety of the episode was lower than in other episodes IMO. I know, right? Just look at the grass. Looks like something from a Call of Duty game.

It was slightly lower yes, mostly in how the character's flowed. Watching it again on a higher def TV it looks more stiff. Not BAD, just not as good as normal.

The animations are pretty flawed at the beginning, it could be almost be a preview version. Apparently, they're working under heavy time pressure if they don't even have the time to render the stuff in 1080p, like Serimon mentioned in the main thread.
